Jamison Views Restaurant

Scrolling through Google trying to find somewhere nice to eat after our day in scenic world and stumbled upon this restaurant. Surprised with its 4.2 rating as this should be 5 stars.

They just launched their new menu and it certainly didn’t disappoint. The portion sizes are generous and the food is to die for, plenty of meat and seafood options.

The wine list showcases some lovely local wines but still offering international wines and our reasonably priced. If you are interested in whiskey make sure to ask David for a recommendation he knows his stuff.

When you walk through the door the white linen tablecloths may feel you are undressed but the service is fun, real conversations but they really uphold their standards, I still felt like a queen with my chair being moved for my seating, my wine and waters being topped and the fold of the napkin when I leave the table. This is service of a hatted restaurant but with a fun and relaxed atmosphere with the most beautiful views of the blue mountains.

Huge huge shout out to David who truely made our experience. Keep doing what you’re doing. Came for a meal now planning when to return with my partner for a weekend stay and the soda bread 😉.

Didn’t plan our visit but used google maps to find somewhere to eat. They were expecting 70 people but found us a table with stunning views over the Blue Mountains. We were trying to find a kangaroo but hadn’t had any luck. One of the staff pinned up a photo of a ‘Roo which made us laugh

So romantic, so good to celebrate any significant event in your life with the person or people you love. We celebrated our wedding anniversary here. The atmosphere is incredible! And live music in the hall- what could be better for a romantic dinner?

Located in the hotel we stayed in, very friendly staff with wide range of wines and all courses were better than expected. Satisfactory dining experience

Great service, awesome views and lush food

Literally the best food we have had for as long as I can remember! We had the scallop entree, salmon fillet and beef mains and sticky date pudding. Everything was absolutely fantastic.

10 out of 10! All the staff were so friendly and accommodating. Our order was taken quickly and food was brought out all together very soon after. It was the most delicious food I’ve eaten! Needless to say there was not a scrap left on the plates at the end of the meal!
Tuan was an incredible waiter and had a good humour about him too 😊 the view was absolutely to die for.
This restaurant is definitely the place to go in Katoomba to see the beautiful mountain line and dine in at a beautiful restaurant that is fairly priced. Thanks for a wonderful night out!

An exceptional 3 course menu from Entre to Dessert! Nothing to fault, salmon was by far the best ( biased) as my husband had the beef. The lovely and friendly staff ( Savannah) made our dining even more enjoyable.

Very nice food in a heritage setting. My main was priced at $29. which was pretty good considering the high quality.
