U-HAUL AUSTRALIA TRAILER HIRE

What a fantastic team, from customer service to technical support from Steve in workshop who corrected faults in my towing vehicle, I was on the road in no time. I can not speak anymore highly of my experience and recommend U Haul strongly. The vehicle trailer I hired is immaculately prepared with state of the art safety winch and led lighting. Time was freely spent explaining all the features including valuable towing tips and hints! If there was a 10 star ⭐ rating you would have got that from me.

The trailer I had booked for my move was broken by another person a few days before my move. Karryn from the Customer Service Centre was very polite and organised a replacement very quickly. I was impressed with the level of customer service I got. The trailer booking system is really easy to use too.

There is nothing these guys won't do to keep me happy.

They don't have small trailers but the cage trailers are just as good. Easy to book online or on device at Puma Petrol station.

Did not end up using them due to being unavailable to use on weekends but very helpful and pleasant conversation.

Clean vehicle, streamlined booking and friendly customer service. Be prepared for the 10 business days it takes to get your deposit back however.

Charged me twice for the extension I arranged for my hire. Were unhelpful when I called for a refund of one of the charges. Did refund though and the hire was all good and easy. Just poor administration and sad service.

Never using U haul again. We drove for 5 hours to a pre booked car trailer in Dalby, and when we arrived, both trailers at the location were unusable and incredibly faulty. The spare tire was blown out, no taillights, no jockey wheel handle, trailer wouldn’t connect properly etc. The trailer we did end up using had a dodgy wheel bearing that barely made the trip, and when we called up they tried to blame it on us for overloading the trailer. I want a full refund and strongly suggest that U haul does some improvement on their maintenance before hiring their trailers.

Incredibly disappointing. Attempted to hire a car trailer (from branch in Kenwick, WA), had made booking prior to arriving and as such had to make payment - no issue with this approach. When I arrived trailer not fit for use (tail lights not working) and no alternative. Nobody able to assist - still not a problem to me. I left without taking the trailer, having paid $140 for the pleasure.

Now my problem - repeated emails to head office requesting a refund and no response. Tried calling phone number listed on website, no answer. I didn’t move the trailer at all, and check-in and check-out was about half an hour and it cost me $140. I find this horrendously unprofessional. I understand issues arise as what happened in my case but I don’t think it is good business to ignore my requests for refund. Very displeased.

Went to “move yourself” trailers without a booking and had no concerns with equipment.
