Alex Surf Club

First time I've been here in a few years. It's still a pretty good feed with a great view. Staff are friendly, our meals came out hot and quickly.

Prices were pretty standard for a club like this. You can get a decent meal and drink for around $40.

Fantastic food, great beverages, with helpful and friendly staff makes this club that much better. Surf clubs are Queenslanders' right of passage, and Alex Surf club doesn't disappoint. It is situated right on the beach, with the views to die for, and also boasts a bar and Cafe on the board walk too.

Commanding views of the surf, great spaces to gather for meals, a coffee, or a drink or two. Any time is a great time to gather at Alex! 💯

Dined here every night over our 3 day stay at Alexandra Heads. Kid friendly menu and a games room. Activity pack given with a kids meal.

Recommend signing up as a member for $2 and booking a table early via the OpenTable app/website as this place is popular.

Caught up with an old mate for dinner and drinks on a Wednesday night. Parking was a breeze right next door to the club, and the staff were very friendly. Drinks at good prices and the food was bloody fantastic. Well laid out. Will have to check it out on a Friday or Saturday night, I'm betting it's popular.

Great friendly service, pretty good food. Side salad was very mediocre, about 95% lettuce, but otherwise no complaints

Such a great location right on the beach. Well, it is a surf club, after all. The staff are great, the venue is modern with a few different areas within & the deck which is perfect overlooking the beach. There's plenty of parking, but given this is such a popular spot, you may have to do a second pass to find one during peak times. Regular live entertainment & good food are another couple of reasons to spend a few hours here.

Ridiculously busy Sunday lunchtime but that just tells you how popular this place is with the locals. Shared the seafood platter which was big enough for 2 women. Fresh fish cooked to perfection.

We had an issue with our seafood platter that we felt that their kitchen needed to be aware of. Shortly after we made our concerns known, a staff member named Jess (from cornwall UK) came & addressed our concerns.
She had such a bubbly, friendly personality & addressed all issues with a smile & a laugh, that we all left happy!!

Gorgeous beachside cafe that opens early. Great coffee, good breakfast options and many shady tables where you can watch what's happening on and off the beach.

Loved it! With a young toddler = need somewhere where it is easy to get and out of, family friend and early dinner hours. We reserved online and had a nice spot near the window looking out to the water, we only had 1.5hrs before our table was needed again but that was fine with us. Line up and order - no QR codes here. We had the seafood platter for 2 - and it was such a nice treat, toddler had a pizza and chips. Lovely lady who served me offered her free drink to my daughter (juice - not grog) so nice.
Great place to unwind and catch up with the bar downstairs, easy access to the beach and the bistro for some aircond and sit down meals. Highly recommend :)

Sensational SLSC for food!

Very reasonable prices, huge menu, lots of seafood options, meats and pizza. I had the smoked pork chop and it was delicious, highly recommend. The staff were very friendly and meals came out quickly.

Great spot for a beer. Right on the beach, good atmosphere. Just be careful they charged me for someone else's beer and someone else said the same (they did refund, but only luck that I noticed it)

We visited on a rainy Saturday morning and there were plenty of free tables outside that were covered from the rain.

The breakfast burger was delicious, lots of good quality thick bacon and very well presented. A bargain too, we paid $15 for the burger and a coffee. (22/10/2022).

Can't wait to go back when it's sunny. 10/10

Dropped by for a quick casual lunch on a Saturday while on holiday. Staff were friendly and helpful. Dory chips and salad was delicious! Lovely views as well. Pleasant place!

Always a fantastic view right on the water, food is generous servings, plenty to choose from although not too many vegetarian/vegan options. Reasonably priced, great lunch specials, casual dining and renovated pokies room.

The Bluff on a Friday or Sunday is Rockin. Great live bands. Beer is cold and the food hot. The dance floor fair game. Love it. Live it. Do it. Great atmosphere 👌 cheers Petra Deen xo

Wonderful place to eat, perfectly located on Alexandra Headlands, Sunshine Coast. Looking out from our table to the beautiful ocean views. We felt welcomed from the moment we walked in until we left. Every staff member was working hard but made time to be polite, smile and were friendly. The atmosphere felt warm, relaxed and cosy. The food was hot, tasty, timely and well presented. We have already rebooked for lunch.

Went in at 4pm on a Friday with the children and had a great meal. The service was prompt and friendly and the food was sensational. The seafood platter was beautiful and my son believes his chicken burger 🐔 was the greatest he has ever had. Will be coming back
