The Surf Club Mooloolaba

Went to Bayview Bar and Bites, what a cracker of a day, the view was amazing, staff David and Maz very friendly and helpful. We ordered just about everything on the menu. Food was amazing presentation, delicious and good value. The only thing I could recommend is more options for Gluten Free kids meals, thank you, regards Ann Lindner - Sunshine Coast Buyers Agent.

Direct water front location. Pub food quality at a reasonable price. Would recommend this place for a visit, especially at their New Years Eve cocktail party.

Love this place. It was my girlfriends first time on the Sunshine Coast so I wanted to take her there. It was great. We just had a couple of drinks and watched the waves and enjoyed the atmosphere. Unfortunately we had dinner plans elsewhere so we didn't get to eat there.

To the chefs ,food was spot on for all dishes we paid for.A big thank you to Nicole, an exceptional bubbly smiling personality. Also to the male bar staff,who created and served with a smile and respect.i highly recommended The Surf Club Mooloolabah and the view.🌼🌼🌼🙏🏿

The exceptional food and huge tap range compliment this ultimate location. This is quite possibly the best Surf Club on the coast!

The Surf Club Mooloobah is located at Mooloobah Esplanade, Mooloobah QLD 4557.

Established as a surf club in 1922, and being one of the oldest surf clubs in Australia, this historic place celebrated its centenary last year 👍

When you enter this place, you immediately see the Memorabilia that aligns the walkway along the lower floor level. It shows just how much the past members of the surf club have contributed.

Many young men & women have started their career in this historic place & gone onto representation honours for Australia.

I was more than impressed by Lois, a 25-year staff member of the surf club, who made me & my family members feel so welcome.

The time Lois took to share some of the highlights of this establishment was outstanding, such a wonderful person to have met.👏

Fine dining can be enjoyed on the top floor of the club. There is an excellent place on the ground floor level where you can relax with family members & friends 😀

Due to the popularity of this surf club, prior bookings are essential, particularly during the holiday periods.

Parking can be an issue. The Mooloobah Esplanade is a particularly busy thoroughfare for traffic, with Mooloobah being a mainstay holiday destination on the Sunshine Coast 😀

Fantastic beach views of Mooloobah and Point Cartwright are worth the visit while enjoying a beer or one of their fine Cocktails 🍸

There is a menu available online that has a wonderful range of meals available, including vegan & vegetarian meals.

The seafood platter for 2 is worth the price 😋

The surf club has wonderful areas for watching live sporting events on large screens. Great live music is another way to ensure that your time 🎶

For people with disabilities there is a lift onsite that can take you to the top floor level.

My overall impression of this establishment is that it is a wonderful place to enjoy quality time together with friends and family.

The service we received was fantastic. Everyone was very welcoming, happy and polite. The food was so fresh and drinks were delicious. Definitely recommend if you're after somewhere relaxing to eat and a good view

Beautiful spot by the beach. Windy but worth it, staff were so kind and courteous. Ensuring everyone was not too cool with the wind and surf. Food was delicious and affordable. Great piece of local history

Good seafront location, free car parking near by at the Wharf, superb views over the water ,Good food, good selection of drinks, or just pop in for coffee ☕ helpful and friendly staff, Excellent

Great to eat there again fab location food an omg steak was amazing plus sitting next to the beach.

Great relaxed vibe. Meals spot on. View terrific of crashing waves and brave swimmers. Always impresses houseguests after a tour of canals.

We always join the SLSC...$5....(social member) to take advantage of the discounts on food and drink. You need photo id to buy your membership card which lasts one year. Also helps support the club. A must join if visiting Malooloolaba.

Upstairs at the Bayview bistro you will be greeted by some very friendly staff if you are lucky Crystal will be working and look after you as well as she did us last night. Drinks were cold and cocktails were delicious but that view was amazing we have been to many places on the beach…not as good as this. To be able to dine on local seafood dishes while watching the sun go down was a wonderful experience. You need to book for a prime position and it is a bit more expensive than eating down stairs but well worth it. We had share Mooloolaba Prawns entree I then had the seafood chowder and John seafood grill as our mains. It was very tasty

You should be very proud of your staff at The Surf Club Mooloolaba, they are a tremendous asset to you with every one we encountered enjoying a bit of banter all the way from reception to being seated and overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

What a million dollar view to enjoy our lunch..... A hot and cold seafood platter for me at just $36 and a lemon and herb battered snapper $27.

We even had some live entertainment with a snake slithering out of the bush.

Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and a couple of drinks, highly recommended.

Firstly the views were just amazing👌🏻

but most importantly we are very thankful to one particular barmaid Tanya who’s friendly mannerisms, and exceptional customer service skills made us feel extremely welcome. Tanya is a great asset to your club 🙏🏻.
