Hollyhock Bed and Breakfast

Spent 2 nights in this delightful B&B whilst celebrating my friend's 60th birthday, our host Chris made us feel so welcome and special. A mouthwatering breakfast each morning, the room was delightful, and Chris went above & beyond, even offering to drive us places. Can't wait to come back again..

What a lovely place to stay even in a cold rainy day. The heartwarming host Chris made our short stay such a beautiful experience that I would highly recommend to my friends. In addition to the spotless clean room and the comfortable bed, Chris made us a full indulgent healthy breakfast that totally blew us away. Actually I haven't had such a decent breaky for a long time. Hope to see you again Chris, in September probably:-)

Outstanding venue, quiet, beautiful setting, lovely gardens and gorgeous apartment room. Spacious, very clean and very well set up

As soon as we walked in we felt calm and relaxed.
The beautiful bay windows are perfect to unwind with a cuppa.
We had our own entrance, bathroom with jet tub and that beautiful private wrap around deck to soak up that view.
We both had a really good nights sleep and even asked chris to bring our breaky a little later the next morning, just so we could have a sleep in.
Chris welcomed us with open arms as soon as we arrived.
She also cooks a beautiful breakfast with her home laid eggs, bacon mushrooms and tomatoes. You won't leave hungry, before your big breaky chris also brings oats, fresh fruit, yoghurt and plunger coffee.

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit here. The accommodation was warm, very comfortable and well appointed. Chris the host was delightful and made us feel instantly at home. Her hospitality and the wonderful home cooked breakfast made our visit extra special. I definitely recommend staying here.

A delightful place to stay in Macedon. Friendly but not intrusive host. Spotless room with all you need & more. Fabulous bed. Beautiful breakfast. A lovely garden & peaceful surrounds. A few minutes walk to shops and restaurants. We would absolutely stay here again.

Everything about this b&b is just heavenly, the best breakfast, the most comfy fluffed up bed, the stunning garden surrounds, the gorgeous hospitality, and the tranquil location that's just a short walk to everything. We feel thoroughly rejuvenated and loved every minute of our stay here. We have stayed here before and will def stay here again 😀

Chris reveals a genuine Australian hospitality whereas the breakfast is delightful, warming our hearts amid frosty weather.

We had a lovely night here, nice spot good yummy brekky and Chris the landlady was lovely and looked after us , great experience. Comfy warm room whilst the wind howled outside ....
Close to shops and great walks in the area.
We did some walks in the area and had a coffee on to of Mt Macedon whilst in the area. Highly recommended..

When we first walked up we were a bit worried of staying at someone's home. But it was fabulous. Such a lovely happy relaxed atmosphere. Wonderful welcoming home and lady. Breakfast was delicious. Thank you Chris.

A very large room with plenty of facilities. The bathroom had both a shower and a bath. A nice view of the garden and a very good breakfast

Best stay on our five week trip through New Zealand and Australia so far. King suite is roomy and private with lots of windows and a private balcony. Birds galore and short walk to Macedon. Great bed and tasty breakfast. Wish we could stay longer than one night.

Fantastic B & B, as it ticks all of the correct boxes. It gets even better with such a polite, friendly and well mannered host (Chris), who goes out of her way to ensure that your stay is extremely pleasant and very enjoyable. Would return here at a drop of the hat.

Chris was a welcoming and accommodating host. Lovley stay with a great breakfast. Opened the bifold windows for breakfast for a nice view and of the mountain!

Exceptional enough to last until dinner time. Cereals, fruits and hot food. Plunger coffee, the place is worth a stay in Macedon. Christine is a great host

Had a great couple of nights in the "Red Room"! Chris is a fantastic hostess....beautiful cooked brekky each morning, lovely comfortable bed and room with a view of Mt Macedon. Paradise!!

Lovely property and gardens in quiet area close to town centre. Super-friendly host, Chris. Generous, delicious full breakfasts. We were spoiled.

We stayed in the deluxe King suite which has its own external entrance and bathroom. The accommodation was great. Location excellent. Nice and quiet. Comfy bed. Very generous breakfast included. A great break. We'll be back. We'll done!
