We love stopping by Dicksonia whenever we’re in the Mount Macedon area and we can’t thank Stephen enough for his help today.

We were on the hunt for a maple tree and he helped us pick out that has now become the perfect feature for our small courtyard. Really appreciate Stephen’s advice and help with fitting it into our car so that we could safely transport it all the way back to metropolitan Melbourne.

Couldn’t be happier with our purchase today and will definitely be back again soon!

Such a beautiful nursery with some simply magnificent plants. Stephen the owner is just so knowledgeable and very easy to chat to. I came here because I subscribe to the you tube show that Stephen co hosts, the Horticulturists. It’s a cracking show. Make sure you watch it. The plant I bought was highlighted on that show and I simply cannot wait to plant it

From the moment you walk down the pathway, you know this will be a plant-lover's paradise. The paths are lined with an intriguing variety of small potted plants, shrubs and trees you know would be perfect for your garden. All plants are carefully labelled and bursting with good health. I have not enjoyed a visit to a nursery so much in many years. Don't miss Dicksonia rare plants. It will be a highlight of your visit to Macedon.

Beautiful place to stroll through and look at rare plants. Also a place to shop for out door plants. Vanessa is really knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about plants.

A great place to go and have a wander. There are so many amazingly rare and quirky plants to buy. The owner has an extensive knowledge on all the plants he offers and is so willing to help find the best plant for your garden.

Stephen friendly and welcoming and a fantastic source of knowledge and advice. The labyrinthine layout adds to the charm of the nursery and there are surprises around every corner. With definitely be back again.
