A fabulous art gallery. Time, thought & effort has gone in to make this museum an absolute delight to visit. Stunning arts & crafts exhibits, including furniture & objects. Also a fair few Klimts & Schieles all tastefully hung in large & natural light filled rooms. One of the best...Great coffee shop too.....

One of the best museum ever visited. Tho the museography it's a little simple and the architecture might be a little confusing at the beginning the curatorial work is amazing and the collection is almost 100% mastepieces. There are concerts on sunday morning as well.

It is one of the best modern art museums I have seen. If you are a fan of Egon Schiele or if you don't know him at all, go to become a fan. Klimt would be also a gift. You can spend hours without realizing it

It's a good one, they have a huge collection of modern art including painting, furniture and ceramics. We took an audio guide and it wasn't too bad but could have been more interesting. Recommended duration 2-3 hours

The museum presents a wide range of works from expressionist artists, especially Max Oppenheimer, Gabriele Münter, and my favourite Egon Schiele. You could submit your belongings at the cloakroom free of charge. Less than 3 minutes walk to the public transportation. There‘s big museum shop on the second floor.

Great museum, it has 4 floors and it was nicely organized.
If you have a backpack you have to do a coat check before entering the museum. Coat check is free and it is located on the right after you enter the building.

Top notch museum at the heart of the Museum Quartier. The exhibition on the Art in Vienna at the start of the 20th century was super interesting and very well laid out. This place can also boast some beautiful Klimt work and a great Egon Schiele collection (probably one of the best I have seen so far). It is really worth a visit.

Excellent collection of Schiele works and a view of Vienna’s fin-de-siècle art scene. Also works by Klimt, Kokoschka, and others. Beautiful limestone building by Laurids and Manfred Ortner with a nice gift shop. Highly recommended.

One of the best museums I've ever visited, especially if you're a fan of Gustav Klimt and/or Egon Schiele as I am. I was totally delighted.
Besides the richness of the artwork, it was also very interesting that they have explanations about some paitings, about the artists and about art currents. Save up at least 2 hours to visit the whole museum.

I love Gustav Klimt's work so I loved Leopold too. I visited the Wien 1900 exhibiton and I felt so fulfilled. Go visit :)

We went to the Leopold Museum to the Gustav Klimt’s “Death and LIfe” and the controversial artist of his time Egon Shiele’s artwork.

The museum is located within the museum quarter and is housed in a super modern building.

We spent about 1 hour there. Given its price although it was a lovely museum, I would personally rank other artistic attractions such as the Fine Art Museum - Khunsthistorisches way before the Leopold. It’s a nice experience but it’s not a must especially if you’re on a budget.

This museum is a must if you're a fan of modernism. Compared to overpopulated places like the Belvedere, the Leopold is a no-brainer. It is an incredibly enjoyable museum amd was not too busy on a weekend. The Klimt, Schiele, and Gerstl collections on display were breathtaking. I appreciated going to this museum on the last portion of my trip in Austria because I got to see the landscape and learn a bit of the culture before seeing artwork in museums. There was plenty of space to see the artwork, and the rooms and information were helpful. If you enjoy art and art history, go to the Leopold!

A beautiful museum themed around 20th century Vienna, really appreciated. The look and design of the plans is really commendable and innovative. Each area is well prepared and features really beautiful art. Schiele,Klimt ecc are all present with many facets

Klimt, Gabrielle, Schiele, and more. Love that the audio guide for kids is free and that entrance for kids is only €2.50. 4 floors, lots to see. Especially love the letters and postcards with English translations on the side, gives real insight into snippits of the painters' lives during the period they painted the paintings exhibited.

Big museum and well organized. Also there is a caffe inside to have some drink or even to eat a bit.

My favourite museum! I have been here before but had to visit again. This museum has one of Gustav Klimt masterpieces, death and life. This museum also has lots of collections of Egon Schiele including his famous self portrait paining.

Great museum that’s been designed with attention to details. Egon Schiele’s exhibition is the last and the best one. The museum shop boasts a wide variety of great gifts.

Very beautiful museum. Their main exhibition is Vienna's art scene throughout the 20th century and at the end of the 19th century. Many paintings by Klimt, Schiele, Kokoschka and others, also other artworks (e.g. secession-style posters, furniture, etc.), plus a wall of key figures related to Vienna around 1900, including Klimt, Freud, Wittgenstein, Schönberg, Schrödinger..
I particularly enjoyed Theodor von Hörmann's and Carl Moll's paintings the most :)

You really must visit if you're into early 20th century art. Contains some of Klimt and Schiele's best. Beware the queues at the cloakroom as they insist on any rucksacks being handed on.
