Visiting Schönbrunn Palace was a truly enchanting experience.
The opulent architecture, meticulously manicured gardens, and rich history make it a must-see attraction.
The audio guide provided insightful information, enhancing the journey through the grandeur of each room.
The highlight was the Gloriette, offering breathtaking views of Vienna.
Despite the crowds, the palace's beauty and cultural significance make it a captivating destination.
It’s always a good idea to visit it !

The palace was amazing. There was a handheld small device which provides audio guide throughout your tour in the palace and tells you interesting stories of the royals who once lived there. I got the imperial tour which let me toured through most of the rooms but I regret not getting the full tour because the palace was truly magnificent and I would love to see more of it.
I visited the palace on 1st November, which is also a Viennese public holiday - All Saints’ Day. The waiting for 3 hours for me but crowd regulation was really well done. When it was my turn to go in it wasn’t crowded and I actually had the space and time to enjoy every bits of the palace. So try to get tickets prior to arrival and you will not have to wait.
But even if you have to wait there is no worry as you can wander around the garden of the palace like I did (where I took the pictures attached) and walking about the small let me oversee the entire Vienna. The scenery and gardening was amazing.
There was a small castle, which once was the dining of the royals, on the top of the hill and has now been turned into a coffee shop and an observatory. But be noted that you can only go all the way up to the observatory if you have bought the most expensive ticket type. I did not get that so I missed the opportunity to go up.
Overall, I would say this is a must-go when visiting Vienna for the first time. You learn a lot about the local history and can enjoy amazing view. :)

This is a very beautiful castle with fantastic gardens. You will need several hours to spend time here and will definitely be rewarded for photography efforts as there is very nice contrast to use. The souvenir shop was one of the better ones and had several unique items to purchase. Just be prepared, these places, including this one, definitely aren't cheap with merchandise. It is still a place worthwhile to visit, and I recommend it to others.

Free entrance to the exterior area. It's a beautiful place for a walk in the city surrounded by nature. The Christmas market was open on the 1st week of January, it was lovely. I recommend booking tickets online if you wish to visit the palace inside.

Very informative audio guide tour. Be sure to get tickets early for the time you want or you might have to wait for a time slot. It was a cold rainy day in January when I went so I didn't spend much time in the gardens. Loved the grand tour of the palace. Lots of taxis out front. No photos in the building.

Beautiful gardens. Took a tour inside. Packed with historical furnishings art and facts.
As we visited on the run-up to Christmas, we were lucky to have the Christmas market there, too. Well, it's worth a visit. There is a lot to see.

We went just after Christmas and the Christmas market was still on. Absolutely stunning! It Absolutely made it for me for our 3 night break. The atmosphere was beautiful. We didn't go in the Palace as we got there later. But will on or next visit!

Beautiful! Come early and be ready for the crowd to jostle you. Many tourists didn't follow the rules about photos or lines. Employees were helpful and proud of their history and monument. Be sure to use the audio guide. We got the zoo and gardens package of tickets. It's a full day of walking and site seeing in the palace and on the grounds. Definently recommend. The zoo is currently under renovation so some exhibits were closed but even in a light drizzle, it was worth seeing. Make sure to grab a snack at the alpine cottage above the artic wolf enclosure- DEVINE pastries perfect with a bottle of juice and a shot of schnapps! Would visit again.

Very nice clean and well preserved place. Better to visit in spring it summer that the garden blooms and the flowers are full of colours. But also the winter still keeps its charm

We came on spec and did not buy a ticket to the palace. But the grounds were free to enter. We spent a few hours walking around the gardens and paid to enter the Palm House. The gardens were lovely and serene to walk through and I can imagine it would be beautiful in the summer when the flowers are in bloom!!
There was a Christmas market by the front which was great to wander round!

I liked it very much, the audio guide was in polish and many other languages. Everything was clear while going through exhibitions. The rest of the area around the palace was clean and neat.

Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna is a splendid destination, especially on a sunny day. The palace, surrounded by meticulously maintained gardens, offers a charming experience. On my visit, I had the opportunity to explore the expansive palace grounds in a horse cart, which added a touch of nostalgia and elegance to the outing. The horse cart ride provided a leisurely journey, allowing me to soak in the scenic beauty while appreciating the historical ambiance. The staff ensured a smooth and enjoyable ride, making it a delightful addition to my overall experience at Schönbrunn Palace.

Wonderful place to visit. There are many great artworks and gardens are mesmerisingly beautiful! You can buy your tickets online but the queue is not that long since many kiosks work, you can just buy them at the entrance.

A superb palace in every way, very well designed. The yard is huge where you can spend the whole day without realizing the notion of time.

Unfortunately, I didn't have tickets to view the interior of the palace, but I am firmly convinced that it is worth to se it.

I recommend to buy the tickets in advance because they are limited.

Oh wow...What a beautiful palace. Full of Hapsburg history and home of Empress Maria Teresa. So many beautiful rooms which emphasize the wealth of the empire. The ceiling frescoes are breathtaking with so much detail that one visit to see it all is not enough. No pictures are allowed inside unfortunately, so you'll have to go and see it for yourself. And the gardens are also something to behold. Even though it was winter the grounds were exquisite. The fountains were gorgeous. You really need several hours to tour the entire place.

Schonbrunn it's a place you have to visit while in Vienna. It's a huge castle with a lot of space you can walk, the gardens are an awesome place to explore. We didn't had the time to but the tickets ( recommend to come a bit earlier in the day because by the afternoon it gets pretty crowded). Recommend!

Simply THE place to visit in Vienna!
It is fair to say that this is the Versailles of Vienna.
The rooms inside are definitely worth a visit, as you can have a sneak peak into the emperor life.
The gardens are also amazing!
Unluckily I visit them in the winter, but during spring and summer they are even more amazing with flowers and colours everywhere.

Its an extremely big and very well equiped pallace to visit, sadly I didn't took pictures of the inside of the building, but all the places are nice to see, its one of the most beautiful places to visit in Vienna.

A beautiful place with a very rich history, a ticket for three people with a full sixty-minute tour costs 80 euros, after entering you have to leave your backpack in the waiting room (security guards are closely guarding them) And we move on to the ticket collection sector, a very big advantage that I noticed at this point is the audio guide in every language, it is really very helpful and an ideal solution for people who want to learn about the history of this place, it is worth emphasizing that there is no human guide (only an AUDIO guide), you cannot take photos or make videos on site, full tour 60 minutes, the second option is a 40-minute tour (after visiting a few rooms, there is a branching of corridors with an exit on one side and a person checking tickets waiting for 60 minutes on the other) . I heartily recommend this beautiful place to everyone👍🏻
