Amazing Croatian seafood restaurant with phenomenal dishes - everything was made fresh from the open kitchen and staff were very friendly and humble. The mussels were so yummy that I had to order them twice! Before we left the restaurant, we were even offered free shots by the staff! Number 1 restaurant we’ve been so far in Vienna. Must visit again!

Never eaten Croatian food, and wow, it was so good. So tasty. The staff (all Croatian) are super kind, super friendly and super attentive. Fast service too. Non alcoholic beer was amazing, soups were amazing, risotto was amazing, octopus was amazing, John Dory was amazing. Really, you should visit this place. Highly recommend. Prices were extremely good. Decor, ambience, everything was perfect. Located on a vibrant street, east to reach. Fig was not ripe enough for my liking, that’s the only negative for me. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal

Such a gem! We passed a memorable evening with absolutely stunning food that no longer makes you feel you‘re in Vienna. The grilled fish is simply perfect. Service is impeccable, attentive and kind. Absolutely recommend!

We had a perfect evening at Konoba, it reminded us of our favourite restaurant from the port of Hvar Croatia. You get to choose your fish that is cooked fresh from the open kitchen. Fresh, simple and tastes delicious! A perfect evening.

We were there on a Saturday night with a reservation. The staff was helpful, sincere and professional. The wine, entrèe and the main dish were beyond beautiful *chef’s kiss*… Party for my eyes and taste buds.

This seafood restaurant is an excellent shop for fresh fish, shellfish and desert. The open kitchen you can see is very interesting and fantastic. For three of us, we had the the swordfish carpaccio, mussels in white wine sauce with garlic and grilled octopus with vegetables. Finally we had a pudding deserts. The staff is also very kind and excellent explanation of the foods and wines.

Such an amazing food quality - excellent fish! Service is superb and atmosphere is cozy. This will definitely become one of my top spots in Vienna!

This is a sweet place to enjoy a relaxing dinner. I always love an open kitchen - especially one that features fish! All the fresh fish is on display, and watching the chef preparing perfectly grilled fish is such a treat. They also have delicious tomato soup, pasta and salads too.

This Dalmatian seafood restaurant is a fantastic spot for fresh fish, shellfish and other seafood. The dishes are deliciously prepared in an open kitchen you can see right into. We had four starters, the squid risotto, the swordfish carpaccio, marinated octopus and mussels in white wine sauce. The three of us then also shared the seafood platter for two, which was fantastic and had lovely deserts. The staff is also very friendly and kind. I can see why the restaurant has been around for so long. I will gladly come back for more!

Konoba Restaurant is the best fish restaurant in Vienna! The quality of the food is fantastic and always perfectly prepared. No wonder the restaurant is always full! The service is top, the team is always very friendly and professional. I am a frequent customer and look forward to my next visit in Konoba!

4.85 - The dishes I ordered were absolutely gorgeous, particularly the truffe penne. It went beyond my expectation. Thanks for the recommendation from the staff. P.S. I even went to another popular place (in a different country) and tried out a similar dish like this. However, this one is far more better in term of the truffle quality, texture of pasta and taste/ creaminess of its sauce. In addition, their seafood are very fresh. Definitely worth trying their grilled dishes here. Mine was grilled anglerfish which tasted like lobster tail for the first few bites.

Lastly, when I was about to leave the restaurant, the manager/ or owner even gave me a shot (liquor) on the house as a gesture of goodwill. Very pleasant dining experience.

It is a great place for fish and seafood 👩‍🍳🤌 💋 we ordered an octopus for 4 people, it was sooo good and just the right amount. The starters - small fishes, fish soup, and the scallops - were also 5 out of 5. Last but not least, the wine they recommended us was exactly what we asked for, and the Creme caramel was my perfect ending of a perfect dinner.

I highly recommend it, and I'm marking this place to favourites 🩷

atmosphere got 1 star less because it's a bit noisy in there when it's full, since it's one big room with a high ceiling which makes bad acoustics when everyone's talking.
