Great place to come to eat, drink, chill, play pool or darts and watch all kinds of sports!
Bar staff are amazing catering to all your needs and making some unreal drinks!
Make sure you get there between 3pm-8pm for the happy hours!
Food is excellent with a massive variety from western food to local dishes!
We spent 3 out of our 5 nights here and wish we found the place earlier!
Owner is a great guy very welcoming and good to sit down and have a chat with!
Really couldn’t recommend this bar more, we will definitely be coming back when we revisit the island!

Loved every bite here! The burgers, quesadillas, and shepherd's pie are top-notch, all made with the freshest ingredients. The people working here are super nice, too. This is your spot if you're looking for a change from seafood to some cozy pub food. Great atmosphere too – grab a drink, enjoy the fantastic cocktails, watch some football, or play pool.
For me, many evenings started with a relaxing massage at the great spot across the street, then straight to the Drunkn Monkey pub. The area is lovely, and filled with wonderful people. Highly recommend.

Had pre dinner drinks here, nice place, lights everywhere and lovely lanterns. Reasonable prices. Massive pool table, could definitely spend evening here. They also have extensive food selection, but we did not eat here.

Very smooth bar and restaurant. Friendly bartenders, good cocktails, delicious pizza. Stopping by everytime I am at the island!

Tasty food, nice cocktails and cool staff. Very fresh food for sue. Apple pie was delicious as well as lasagna.

New at the Ông Lang area, I am from Nha Trang (and living in VN since 2005). Was on and off since 3 months on the island but now living here and I have visited quite a few places...but this is...

A real bar. Accessible staff and owners. Quick service (by cool people). Has a group of loyal regulars (so it's always busy). Cold beers served in frozen glasses. Food menu has all the basics, and so far all I have ordered was tasty and perfectly cooked (and presented). Good pool table. Large outside terrace. All important sport events. Comfortable seats where you can just chill. Herbal friendly...oh and it obviously very safe for anyone, especially women (no drunken fool harrassing; it's not the style of the house).

I must, also, add that the music is a string of varied but carefully chosen tunes and, wow this is just genius! I mean...not a single bad songs, even the ones I don't know!

And no, I don't work here. Sure, I am not partial anymore but that's because it's really a great bar, nothing missing to make a tourist, an expat or anyone really to feel relax and happy.

A must if you are around Ông Lang.

I’ve been staying in Phu Quoc for 5 months and the drunken monkey is the one place I keep coming back to! The food, staff and atmosphere of the place is awesome.. the guy behind the bar is fantastic! Every time I came in he knew my order and provided amazing service. I highly recommend this the drunken monkey to anyone.

The best bar out there, tasty coctails - long island 10/10, great home made nachos, we had fun with pool and darts and met such cool and nice owner. Great service. Oh and the music - if you are a fan of rock - this is a place for you. It was a pleasure!

August is rather empty all around the area, but this place was open with a very friendly
atmosphere and save our evening. It doesn’t look as a common Vietnamese bar at all but more as a western pub with good beer, good variety of food (including Vietnamese) and a nice billiard pool.

We went in on a Sunday night to watch the first game of the Sunday Premiere League game and grab a bite. There was one table of about 7 people but we were greated by a couple of dogs and a very nice host. We were escorted to the main area and given menus. We ordered a couple of beers and some food. Service was excellent and the bartender was great to speak with. He was the owners brother and had been in Phu Quoc for 14 years. He was excited to see new patrons and told us about how he was excited to see things come back to normal. The food was awesome. I had a quesadilla that was excellent. My wife had a burger. She loved hers as well. We finished watching the game and having our drinks and headed back to the hotel. I can imagine once things are booming Phu Quoc, this will be a place where we will return. I hope we get to see that bartender again and chat with him about the island. Great atmosphere, great food, great people and this place will have you walking away with a great feeling!

Western-style bar with a pool table and darts. Started to pick up again towards the end of our stay in Ong Lang. We haven't tried the food here, but the ambience is nice.

Very nice Place to eat and drink something. You can also watch premier league, play dart and billiard. The service ist very good.

Nice bar. Good food. Nice owners and staff.

I can't express just how much we appreciate this place.
Absolutely our favourite place to stop off and unwind at the end of an evening. The food fills the tummy well and the pool table a welcome addition.
Thank you Quan for greeting us with a smile, also sharing knowledge on the local area and rest of Vietnam.

Really nice sports bar. The staff are fantastic. Also you have to eat here. The food is AMAZING. The vietnamese pancake is the best I've had.

Great bar and the lovely friendly English/Vietnamese owners and their friends were very happy to offer advice and tips about the island. Even offered to try and get a live stream of wolves for me.
