The beach villa with private pool is absolutely stunning! You don’t have to worry about finding available sunbeds since the villa is located 1 minute far away from the beach, would strongly recommend booking it.

The breakfast needs a little bit of improvement. The cocktails are pretty good and the staff is nice and friendly.

In addition, i would like to thank the staff for organizing a very beautiful proposal. Everything was perfect.

Overall, a nice experience 🥰

The rooms are the standard size and type for this class/price hotel. Clean and comfortable. The bathroom is crippled by design but that's also typical for lots of "sea view" type rooms.
Public spaces and restaurants are spacious and inviting. The pool and private beach were perfectly maintained and a great place to relax. Staff from all departments are friendly and make the experience wonderful.

From the time we checked in until we left 5 days later we were very pleased with this hotel. Staff were universally friendly and helpful and amenities were first rate. The grounds and gardens were immaculate.

Breakfast was great but we chose to eat night meals at the nearby night market as the Novotel menu did not inspire us as it had little in the way of local cuisine.

The grounds were immaculate. The food was also great. The room was stunning and all amenities were in working order.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Thao @ the Pool Bar - he was incredible and made our stay more enjoyable!

Will 100000% return and stay @ Novotel.

Stayed here for just 3 nights over Christmas but would 100%return.

The rooms are big and well designed, 2 amazing pools, they also have an all inclusive option which you can add for as many days as you want at the hotel. For an extra 70usd that's worth it.

All the staff were great but the stand out is the Italian Food and Beverage manager. Even though the hotel was full he seemed to know every guest and he never stopped making sure everyone had what they wanted and was having a good time.

We will return!

A wonderful 5 star beach resort with a beautiful scenery around the garden and the beach area.
Rooms are comfortable, clean and nicely equipped.
Breakfast is complete with all amenities including worldwide food offers.
Several swimming pools are wonderfully designed and located near to the beach.
Staff is very friendly and always helpful.
A very beautiful place to spend relaxing holidays.

Can't really fault this place for C. $200 a night in a sea view apartment. Only thoughts would be that the top pool is weirdly dark, especially at night where I found it tough to locate my 8 year old at times and breakfast is a little chaotic in general but that's pretty standard for a buffet in Asia!!

Otherwise all great. The 7 million dong deposit needed to order things onto your room is a little annoying and should be scrapped.

Stayed with my family of 4. Free for up to 2 children under 15 years old. A great hotel for families. There are also two large pools. Breakfast is also delicious. The room feels a little small. Ocean view is recommended. There are many restaurants within a 1-minute walk from the hotel where you can enjoy cheap meals. The location is good. If you rent a bike, you can quickly get around the island. Recommended.

Amazing place to stay. Great food, environment and staff. Perfect for all types of visitors: family, honeymooners, or just friends hanging out.

To go around Phu Quoc, you can take the free bus that stops in front of the hotel. The staffs are awesome, they"ll tell you the bus schedules.

There's also night market and minimarket nearby. Loved my 3 nights stay there.

I’m an avid traveler always looking for the best hotel experiences (I’m also quite picky). We spent 3 nights during Christmas and it was indeed the best decision we made.
The events organised for Christmas were amazing, a big highlight for the Christmas dinner and after party.
Only in 2023 I have been in around 20 hotels, some highly exclusive brands, but my stay at Novotel was a beyond all experiences all due the capacity, experience and attention of their super amazing general manager Oreste.
For sure I’ll be back.

We very happy for this trip experience with Novotel’s service and surrounding,I would be recommended for my friends and family, the beach, food and room all make your trip be wonderful, well only one problem is mosquito… when come here, fourth season all like summer, that made anywhere have mosquito army and attack your body, so if you want to bring your wife, lover or family come here, don’t forget bring Mosquito repellent, if not you would be very itchy haha, well I still thought this place is good.

Stayed for 3 nights at the end of Nov 2023.

Pros:
-good facilities like tennis court, 2 swimming pools, gym, bicycles to use.
-location is close to the airport.
-good breakfast buffet options and helped explain which foods were okay for my intolerances.
-the rooms have balconies and there's a drying rack there too.
-comfortable bed and pillow.
-hairdryer provided
-they have a daybed in the room.
-free scheduled airport shuttle.
-staff are nice and friendly. shoutout to the front desk staff.

Cons:
-Wifi was okay but mobile speed tested at 11.9 mpbs download and 4.62 mpbs upload. 4g was faster.
-the beach water quality was not the greatest on the island. There's this murkiness to the water where you can't see all the way to your feet, there's some bits in the water which is hard to explain but still can swim. the beaches on the east coast (sao/khem) and up in ong lang were nicer.
-the area is like a tourist town, all the big resorts are along here and it's a bit of a drive to the main town. The restaurants around the area are very average i found. the local restaurants are more authentic and tastier, found a great place north of the main town.
-shower was leaking but it wasn't too bad, the water still fell down alright. Just a maintenance issue.
-one of the staff at the Food Exchange Restaurant was sick and coughing and he was serving food without a mask.
-there's only one lift on each side.
-the toilet was not cleaned properly upon entering the room, there was a brown spot on the lid but after it was cleaned it was fine.

This part 2 of another review, the first being about the amazing, above and beyond service we received to make our engagement night unforgettable. This one is more about the hotel.

Arrival / Checkin: We had a late flight from Ho Chi Minh, only arrived at the hotel around 8pm. We booked a private transfer through the hotel for 200,000. Hotel staff greeted us by opening the car doors for us and taking our luggage. Check-in was friendly, quick and easy. We were then taken to our room.

Room: Amazing. We booked the deluxe beachfront bungalow with private pool and highly recommend it. The room is very spacious, huge and comfy king bed, good air conditioning and ceiling fan, lovely design, very clean on arrival and cleaned each day to the highest standard. Modern bathroom, rainfall shower and huge bath out the back very good. 2 bottles of complimentary drinking water and declicious coffee pods! Bifold doors open up into your private paved courtyard giving you that luxurious indoor/outdoor living feel. The private pool was always clean and great to cool off on those hot humid days. Water was a perfect temperature. Step out the back doors onto your private deck and you're about 10m away from the sand, separated only by a wide footpath the runs behind all resorts in the area. We thought this might compromise privacy but it really didn't - not many people use the footpath and shrubs prevent them from looking in anyway. There are 8 beachfront bungalows at the Novotel Phu Quoc, we stayed in the 3rd one along from the main pool and it was peaceful and quiet. Breathtaking sunset views from your private deck or pool every night was a real treat.

Buffet breakfast: Amazing. Our booking included this and we highly recommend it. Selection was extensive with some staples there every day, other things rotated to offer more choice. Lots of Western and local options. Everything was fresh, plenty of staff always checking and replenishing. Food and beverages of high quality. Chefs would cook eggs any way to order. We looked forward to this every day.

Location: The Novotel is on the central/south part of Long Beach. It's about a 15 minute drive (Grab is the app they use) to the part of the island where most of the restaurants and bars are, about 150,000 dong each way. This didn't bother us and we still drove up there for dinner or drinks most nights. But you could easily stay around the hotel, plenty of places to buy food and drinks / dine out nearby (and of course within the resort). A short 2 min walk across the road from the resort is a convenience store (vy vy mart) where you can buy snacks and refreshments (alcoholic + non alcoholic). We were also able to hire a motorbike/moped/scooter here for a good price. The mall in which this store is located has a range of dining options/cuisines for any time of day but it comes alive at night. Follow the mall all the way along and you'll come to "phu quoc food street" which is lined with amazing, fresh, CHEAP open-air seafood restaurants. We ate here a few times and, in our opinion, this was WAY better than the night markets in Duong Dong.

Resort Grounds: Beautifully maintained lawns, coconut trees, gardens and ponds over a HUGE area. It all combined to help us feel very relaxed.

Gym/Sauna/Other facilities: we used the gym once. It's small and basic but has everything you need to do a decent holiday workout. The table tennis room is adjacent and can be used as a second space to work out if nobody is in there. The sauna and steam rooms are in the male and female change rooms. Make sure you ask the staff if they're heated up before you go in them because they take a while to get going. Ask someone to help you if you're not sure. The main pool was clean, never too crowded, great sunset views, good music. We made use of the swim up bar and the delicious cocktails.

Staff: all friendly, genuine and professional. From the general manager to the cleaners, everyone went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable.

Thank you, Novotel. We will be back!

I had an amazing stay at Novotel Phu Quoc Resort. The check in experience was really great with Mr. Kelvin assisted me with all the details of the resort along with check in procedures. Mr Kelvin went extra miles ahead with arranging online mode of payment on the spot. Kudos to you for your dedication for great customer service and satisfaction. He arranged a shuttle bus service for my departure to the airport too. The room was really spacious equipped with all the amenities and a plate of delicious macarons giving a personal welcome. I extend my appreciation for the personal touch for the welcome to the entire team. The restaurant had a delicious and large selection of transcontinental meal options for lunch and dinner along with a transcontinental buffet. Room service was great and the spa service was extremely professional, warm, calming & relaxing. To sum up everything, I completely enjoyed a happy stay at the resort. Last but not the least, I would like to thank Ms. Hang for a smooth check out process. Kudos to the entire team for making my stay pleasant & memorable.

We had a great time in this resort. The location is great near the sea with a beautiful beach and it's several pools and nice poolbar on the beach. We fought at first that it will be kaotisk, but the resort has a big outdoor areas and you don't feel the crudeness.
The food in the hotel was also good with varieties of Asian and European foods including breakfast. The guality of wine in the buffet was wonderful.
The crown of our stay was a general manager, Oreste ( i think😀). He was taking good care of the custumers and nothing was a problem. He was also a star of the New Year Party. Everyone was having fun.
The stuff were also kind and helpful at all times
Thank you all for nice stay. Hope to see you soon again

Our stay for a week in Phu Quoc was nothing less than perfect bliss. Location is lovely, staff are attentive, service oriented and ALWAYS friendly.
We had a slight issue with our room and after notifying staff, we were pleasantly upgraded to another bungalow. They were also helpful in assisting to arrange excursions.
Breakfast is great. Always fresh fruit, egg based meals, Asian and European tastes. Theme nights are fun, it shows that the staff cares.
One suggestion could be to be somewhat more flexible to the all inclusive offers. I realize that it is a fixed price, but my pregnant wife would not benefit from the 70 USD per day offer. We were offered a 10% discount but would still not worth it for us. Oh well.
Special shout out to our servers Ganh, Tran, manager Traetto and reception in general. A special place in our hearts to Co in the breakfast/Snackbar area, the embodiment of service and the famous Vietnam hospitality.

The first impression I had when I visited the resort was the beautiful views. The staff were very nice, always smiling. I enjoyed the delicious food in the resort's restaurant. Additionally, the manager of the resort ensures food safety by frequently holding training courses for the culinary staff. I will definitely spend my next holiday at this resort.

I think the Novotel PQ is best for it value. But let's go straight to what i don't like.
- The sea, unfortunately, the sea is very itchy, and not clear, i cannot see my legs ..
- The room service (cleaning), they do cleaning very late, our 2 rooms about 5-6pm, and i have feeling, that they will not do it, if we not calling them ...
The cleaning is only about changing towels, but i don't see they are vacuuming anything, the glasses are not cleaning too.
- The wifi is not good (it can be ok for me, but my kids were not satisfied)

What i like
- it's still a 5 star resort
- the path to sea is great, beautiful, and lotos and fishes perfect
- breakfast was very good
- the location near the night market is also make our day

Will i stay here next time ?
I should think carefully, because the sea is not what i expect, i have been in the south part (Premier Residence PQ), and the sea there it's what i like. But i am not satisfied with Premier residence locations ... So PQ is now a chalenging for me.

My fiancee and I stayed at the Novotel Phu Quoc from 15th to 22nd Dec 23 and had an unforgettable time.

The room, the resort, the ammenities, the location, the buffet breakfast, the immaculate grounds, the infinity pool and the sunsets were all incredible, but the thing that really made our trip so memorable was overwhelming service of Nhu, Khanh, Thoai and the Novotel team.

I first reached out to the generic Novotel email on October 18th because I was planning to propose to my girlfriend on the trip and wanted to know if the resort could help me make it special. Ms Nhu responded very promptly and was all too happy to assist.

She provided information about some stock options along with pricing. I wrote back with the ideas I had for a romantic room set up after dinner (at another restaurant) with rose petals all over the room, tea light candles, bathtub full, champagne on ice, chocolates, etc. She emailed examples of room setups they'd done before, I sent back references for the idea in my head. She said they couldn't do real flames but could do electric candles, and so on it went about dozens of details. Nothing was too hard. Nhu went above and beyond trying (and succeeding) to accommodate every single one of my requests. She was so kind and willing to help, generous with her time and SO patient with me! Week by week the plan came together, all details and pricing was finalised. We met Nhu in person our first day at the Novotel for an unrelated matter. Obviously we had been talking for weeks on email but my girlfriend had no idea and Nhu gave nothing away! Superb acting to keep the surprise alive. It then came to the day I was going to propose. I did it on a quiet part of the beach in front of the resort. My girl said yes (yay) then we went out for dinner. While we were out, Nhu and what seemed like an army of staff but in reality was just two people (Khanh and Thoai) came in to decorate the room. When we returned after dinner and I could not believe my eyes. It looked more beautiful and romantic than I could have ever imagined. I would have been happy with the rose petals and candles scattered around the room randomly but every petal (100 roses worth) and every candle (all 96 of them) was intentionally and individually placed around the room in gorgeous shapes and even spelled our initials. And they put them EVERYWHERE, on the floor of the room, on the bedside tables, on the couch, on the desk, on the coffee table, on the bed, in the bathroom, in the bath (which they'd filled with beautiful warm water), and made this little path going around the whole thing. They went waaaaay beyond any expectations and made an already special night truly unforgettable.

From the bottom of our Australian hearts, Khanh, Thoai and (especially) Nhu... thank you thank you THANK YOU. Because of what you did, we will remember that night and our stay at the Novotel Phu Quoc forever.❤
