Nam Nghi Coral Peninsula Phu Quoc

Our one night stay at the resort was lovely. Our room was spacious, clean and had a great view. The food and drinks prices were a little high but we were prepared for that. We ate at the tree top restaurant and we couldn't fault the food, atmosphere or staff. The head chef came out and spoke to the dinners about the menu which was a nice touch. There was an enormous selection of good quality food for breakfast. All the staff were friendly, attentive and spoke good English.

I was looking for a peaceful place to stay and chill. Picked this hotel as one that is new, nice looking and far from any construction sites or other hotels. I've got here during the period between holidays and typical vacation time of Asians coming here. What I've got was beyond my expectations:
1. The resort area is very beautiful, filled with green colors and cheerful, smiling personnel always ready to address your needs and wantings
2. Sea view villa was really nicely furnished and equipped for relaxation
3. It is super convenient that beach, pool area, and the main restaurant are just nearby
4. Both breakfast (included in room price) and lunch/dinner - were delicious with a nice variety to choose from!

Cons:
- Not every one of personnel knows English, however, that was never an issue for me. Those that speak always came to help
- Price for "fancy" kayaks (with the transparent bottom) is kind of too high - 30$ per hour, though they have 2 free kayaks

Great thanks and greetings to Kevin, Chef Cook for resorts restaurants. We met with him on the way from the airport to the hotel and he told me a lot about places to visit and dishes to try.

Overall - 10/10 for my visit!

Me and my husband stayed at Nam Nghi for 4 nights as part of our honeymoon. This place is heaven! The staff are so service minded and helpful. We were upgraded to a sunset beach front villa and it was incredible. The beach is really beautiful and quiet. The food is really good as well. The only minus is the really expensive rental prices for snorkel gear, bring your own instead if you want to snorkel.
I would love to come back to this place!!

It was our first time at Nam Nghi . We spent 4 nights and 5 days at the resort. Overall it was excellent. What impressed us the most are the service and the courteous and friendliness of the staffs. The environment and ambiance are perfect.
The only thing we would suggest to the general manager is to bring down the price of alcohol at the restaurant and to offer a free bottle of cold water to guests of the restaurant.

Very nice location for a good Hotel. The rooms have quite a good size. Most rooms have a very nice view of the ocean which is really good for watching the sun rise. The main restaurant has a very big menu and the food tastes great. The pool bar, also has a menu which is smaller than the menu from the main restaurant but it's quite big for a pool bar. The food there also tastes great. Next to the hotel is even a small beach. At night there is a bus going to the night market.

One of the most beautiful resort in Phu Quoc, staff were very friendly, helpful with smile services. The room was well equipped, modern design with high quality material and Vietnamese tradition décor.
We could view the sea and feel the wind and sound of waves, the rustle of trees on tropical island from the rooms.
From the resort, we take a boat 2 or 3 minutes to another small island with private beach, Rock Island Bar, the view of sunset from this outdoor bar is amazing.
I must say the location of the resort is the best sunset/sunrise view and a lots of trees on island.
If someone want to find the place for romance, away from noise of city or peaceful beach holidays… I would recommend this hideaway resort.

One of the best resort that I’ve ever been in Vietnam. Amazing customer service, buffet with delicious food everyday. Beautiful view from the room and private beach was quite clean.
The only minus are prices for food/drinks and spa. It could be a little bit less high.
Anyway, I really enjoyed my stay here :)

First day I stayed in a room located in the main building with the sunset view. Loved the decoration, the view of the room. Especially, I was impressed by the landscape. There are lots of grand old trees, the huge rocks and the clear ocean water that you can see the coral reefs from the jetty.

Great place to stay. My wife and I stayed in a seaside villa. The room was wonderful. In the afternoons we would relax in the room and open the doors and listen to the waves.

Amenities are top notch. The private island is a nice touch. Cocktails and food are also well done and reasonable. Making a reservation at The Tree House and at the Rock Island bar are a must to get a good seat and be sure to specify which seat or couch you want or ask to recommend a specific seat as the best locations were always reserved when we were there.

It's a very unique place. It has many great views and very peaceful.

There are two main restaurants in the place which are quite decent but costly. For instance a proper meal for two person can reach to $70 or $100 before wine hit the table.

The swimming pool is astonishing. Staff are quite friendly and we didn't have any bad experience. Overall great place. 9 out of 10.

The best resort and hotel for family with kids in Vietnam. The facilities are well equipted with high-end brand products and very clean. The place is separated into two part of hotel rooms and villas. I’ve been 3 times here in last 2 years. There are free shuttle from airport to hotel and daily routine shuttle to downtown. The staff are wonderful and can speak good English. The breakfast is amazing. Actually, in the last our trip, we extended one more night coz kids loved Rock Island. You must try here. Tree house restaurant is good for dinner too.

Nam Nghi Resort has a very special location that surrounding by ocean and forest. Quality of room, service and food is good. My family was totally enjoy with the trip. There has many activities that people can fall in love such as canoeing from the main island to the Rock island Bar, kayak or diving. Beach is beautiful and the ocean is very very pure. Love to stay here, we will com back next time.

We spent 4 days here and it was not just above expectations, but with flying colours.
The hotel is modern and pleasant. The rooms with full sea views are in the third floor. We got what is probably the best room, number 3128, outstanding!
The beach and pool in the resort are fantastic. For snorkel I would recommend Rock island which can be accessed by free ferry boat. You can see many fish, crabs and corals and it's safe since is quite shallow and there are no currents.
We tried the three restaurants in the resort and the food was very good, the prices reasonable for the quality. Special mention for the included breakfast, continental style, but with many asian options. Drinks are also good, specially worth it a cocktail with the sunset at the rock island bar, again, at reasonable prices given the place.
We had an opportunity to have a massage in the spa. It's possibly been one of the best massages I ever had, with perfect technique and installations are superb. Prices are from 2-3 million dong per package but is absolutely worth it!
I read someone comparing prices to London. Just not right, a place this category in London would be 3x for food and drinks, probably 5x for lodge.
There is a free shuttle going to the nearest big city and the airport, but with a limited schedule. A taxi ride to the city is about 300K dong and 500k dong to the airport by using Grab.
Service is professional and attentive but also friendly and warm.
If I had to make a suggestion for improvement it would be to do a sea bottom clean up, specially in the beach next to the pool.
This it's been possibly the best experience I had in a resort and I would totally recommend it!

Very nice place, i was upgrade 2 time to become president 2 bed rooms with perfect view. However, this time (~July - August) is not best time to visit due raining all day.

Food is nice in TreeHouse with 5* price but of course you get what you pay for.

Staff is very friendly but i think they need more training to understand guest requirement and remember what we ask for

They are new resort then i think allow them time to get well in service.

My suggestion: Just come and enjoy and to be honest. It is much better than Vinpearl in-term of relax and family activity

Superb services, and well maintained resort. Staffs are world class standard and they make you feel so comfortable and easily settled in. Special shoutout to Ms. Thuy for her attentiveness, and recommendations around the island. Not forgetting that their food is delicious, a good mix of international and local spreads. To top it off, you have the perfect view of the ocean while having your meal.

I would definitely revisit the resort again

This place is lovely. It's far from the city / airport but it's totally worth it. Staff might need more training but the hardware is perfect. Stayed at the Sunset Villa and the view is phenomenal. The Rock Island bar is fun!

We booked the premier deluxe room with ocean view and had a very lovely corner view over the pool and the beach with a big balcony. It is uniquely located in the north western side of the island and the owners should be given credit for maintaining the natural rocky landscape. The interiors and design of the hotel is nicely and tastefully done in rustic modern charm with brass touches in the bathroom fittings and decorations. However, the details for practical usage for 2 guests to use the sink area was sadly very underestimated. There should be better shelf space for toiletries and towels. Prices for the spa were very high. We were told by our welcome staff about an amber package that would give us significant discount on the 2 massages every day , a free dinner or lunch and 2 cocktails a day. This was a very good idea for the spa as the quality of service provided really does not justify the price asked for. The masseuse ladies did not ask where they should spend more time or if I needed string or light massage. The lack of spoken and understood english was also a problem quite a few times in the restaurant. The food was very good and the chefs are very competent. My package included a cooking demonstration which was also told and arranged Lam. A lack of activities within the hotel which I expected was also disappointing like walking trails and biking and proper pepper/bee farm tours etc. I asked to go to a pepper farm but it only involved being taken there by taxi and I was left to communicate with the farmer on my own with hardly any translation to know the differences between the pepper, just shown the plant and then the bottled pepper to buy. The hotel is quite far from town so we had to take a taxi everywhere we go. We also got upgraded to a villa which was really a highlight for us as we got a great views of the sea. There was a small annoying part of it though and that is the high pitched noise generated by some creature that made it hard to sleep on the first night of the upgrade. Subsequently, it went away but then came back again. It was otherwise very peaceful and excellent for relaxation. The staff are all lovely and eager to please but there needs to be more english training.

The most beautiful resort in Phu Quoc island,close to hospital and Vinpearl,golf,safari,grand world...amazing natural environment which coral,fish,snail,turtles is protected.
They have sunset villa and sunrise villa,good place to do snorkeling,honeymoon couple,family to enjoy a peaceful holiday.
Food and drink is an mixing between local and international.

I'll try to keep this short and to the point. Really outstanding from service to food to everything else I mean there is a standard here and it is amazing real class. Really exceeded any expectations and just amazing. Highly recommend to anyone thinking about staying. Be sure to experience all available on offer. Chef Kevin does a great job with the produce and in creating the food this coming from a chef myself a job well done very passionate. Five stars

This is one of the best spot in Phu Quoc Island. There is a private boat that take us to a small private island just 5 minutes from the resort. The best view for watching sunset and sipping some quality cocktails and tapas. The price is consider reasonable for such a remarkable view and feel. Would highly recommended for you to visit The Rock Bar even you dont stay here. Its quite far from the City Center about 20km from City Center to get there. But it worth it! 👍👍👍👍👍
