Cay Sao Beach Resort

Everything was so great here, highly recommend for a few days away from the main city. Family run resort with cute bungalows that are well appointed and clean. The grounds are lovely to just hang out and relax. The food was great and prices are super reasonable. Mi soup Rau was so so good! They accommodated me last minute and was able to add a 3rd day I loved it so much. Pool and restaurant area is very cute and island open air style, they can also help you with all sorts of tours and bookings, loved my stay!

Cay Sao beach resort is in my opinion, wonderful. It’s an all family run resort and is perfect for a few days away. However there are a couple of little things they could do to make it better. IMO the food is nice but with a touch more seasoning and spice would be so much better. Also our rooms wasn’t refreshed for the 4 days we was there and that’s a little disappointing.
All in all we would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Wonderful place for a relaxing stay. The family running everything is so friendly and helpful!
They both picked us up from and dropped us off at the airport for arrival and departure.
They also had multiple motorbikes for rent there, which was great for riding to the nearby towns.
There is delicious home cooking at a fair price, and an assortment of drinks in a cold fridge. They also provided great tips for tasty local restaurants.
If we had any issue during our stay, they were always quick to assist.
Unfortunately it rained very much during our visit due to a typhoon in the North, but we nevertheless had a wonderful stay at Cay Sao Beach Resort!

Our journey in Vietnam started with a week at Cay Sao Beach resort, which was absolutely great!!

The cabins are perfectly build, nice and clean! We stayed in one of the two cabins closest to the sea, which offered us a nice private space on the balcony, which we really valued.

The resort is small size and cosy, perfectly maintained and looks great with the tropical nature and the sea.

But the most amazing parts were the people and the food! Many thanks to Nyny and her whole family for the great help with basically everything! The food was absolutely amazing, and that good that we had dinner here almost every day! We could easily do our laundry and rent a motorbike to explore the island.

We could ask Nyny to book trips for us, and they were offering their own transfer services.

Absolutely recommended to stay here a while and relax!!

We stayed here in April and had a wonderful time. You have an open view over the sea that let‘s you enjoy a stunning sun rise early in the morning. After which you cab take a nap in one of the hammocks and enjoy a freshly made breakfast.
If you want you can enjoy the noon at the beach under one of the grest palm trees.
In the afternoon you are welcomed to rent a scooter and go out exploring/ esting out. Alternatively, there is lunch and dinner at the resort.

Great place, amazing location, very friendly staff, a family business. Beautiful bungalows close to the sea. Fantastic food.

I spent 5 days with my wife there and we really loved every second of it.
The room is clean, the AC works perfectly and the whole family is helpful and super friendly.
The food is one of the highlights. The prices are really good and the quality is as good as in every restaurant.
I'd stay there again without any thought.

Cay Sao is a beautiful place, quiet, and super friendly. Price is very affordable and very clean and the location is super quiet. The staffs were super friendly. They are very helpful in providing transportation getting around the island. We loved the place and will definitely stay here again.

The resort is perfect for people who need some rest from town and tourist locations. The owners are really friendly and helpful. Only bad thing about the place is the messy beach but that's not the owners problem it's a big problem in the whole Vietnam.

Amazing hosts. English speaking, excellent food and ready to meet all your needs. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the spot is amazing. We could not swim in the sea as it was not clean when we were there, but we could easily reach good beaches in the south. Highly recommended! Great job Nana! Shifu

Familly run, so very nice and efficient staff . All newly build. Small, cozy and quiet. Great starting point to walk in the jungle to the mountain top (get a guide). Squid and prawns sauté with pepper is to die for.

Excellent getaway. The chicken fried rice is so good. The family that runs this is so helpful and caring.

However, the location is over 10km from the city center, which hard to reach and just for those who travel for relaxing purpose

Delicious (sea) foods and fruit juices and smoothies. Wonderful spot with some rocks in the sea.

Beautiful and clean small resort to experience amazing sunrise, beautiful sea view, leisure kayaking, or just relax in the hammock.

Only came here for coffee... The family is running this place in a beautifully mindful way. And their prices are very reasonable. Particularly if you compare to their neighbors.
