Mango Beach Resort

Paradise
We spent five days at Mango Beach Resort. The resort is on the much quieter east side of the island away from the noisy west side.
On arrival we were met by Harry who speaks excellent English.
After checking into our beautiful room with amazing views of the sea we were shown around the resort. The resort is heaven and the lagoon and swimming pool are perfect for a relaxing break.
The staff were very friendly and the food at the resort is amazing!

We had a wonderful time there with our kids aged between 2 and 10.

Rooms were very spacious and clean.

What a paradise place!
We are vegan and gluten free and couldn't hope for a better experience.
The owner cooked everything we wanted and made us discover new veggies and fruits everyday.
The hotel is nearly self sufficient and grow all their food on the property, all organic!
The rooms are really nice with a really view on the Bay.
The staff members are always smilly and do their best to make your stay perfect.
On top, Van gave us a lot of infos and explanations about products, culture and gave us really nice hints for the next part of our travel along Vietnam that were helpful.

Very pretty and atmospheric resort on Phu Quoc east side, with a lagoon style beach, pool and pier. Great breakfast, pho & seafood in the restaurant. Staff very kind & friendly and rooms and all other areas very clean.

Quiet, beautiful in dec./January, private, people running the place were great and took good care of us. They also have scooters for rent on-site, which made getting around the island easy (and hastle free) despite being on the east side of the island where there isn't a large city. We prefer not being near a big city or crowds of people when we do beach resorts. This place suited us well.

Always a positive experience staying here, great for kids great staff and beautiful surroundings.

This is a very quiet, nature-friendly and serene place. It's very far from the city, so it's inconvenient to use the restaurants, but if you pay a little more, there are about three very good restaurants within a kilometer of the surrounding area. Of course, the food here is also delicious. About 200K-300K VDN including drinks per person should be considered.

The place is beautiful and really well maintained. It's far away from the mainstream noise, just the way a resort should be. The staff is friendly, the food is good and the wooden cabins with seaview are beautiful and comfortable. However, it has no beach, just a swimming pool. The dogs make up for that though, they are super nice. If you want to get away from the crowd, this is definitely a good option. Oh, and reading a book in the cabin was no problem, some people need to get their eyes checked.

Amazing fresh food (seafood is 10/10) for all 3 meals, breakfast included and excellent.
Bungalows with sea views, pretty pier to walk out on.
Worth every penny, will be back again!

A nice and relaxing place, with modern, large bungalows, and a gorgeous infinity swimming pool.
May not suit "must do stuff constantly" persons (read on).
Wifi is good. No TV, which suited us just fine.
Bar and restaurant on site, very friendly and helpful English speaking staff.
Yes, some parts of the road leading there is still under construction (October 2018).
We did go to the city center and the night marked no problem, but it took some organization from the staff and included a short (1-2 km) first leg motorcycle ride.
There were work done on the road, so soon it should be fine going back and forth to the city center both motorcycle- and bump-free.
After the surreal noise and traffic of Hanoi and Saigon, this was an excellent place for just relaxing and doing.. nothing!
Take a swim, bask in the sun, sit on the porch with a drink, and listen to the evening and night wildlife. Bliss!

Located on the opposite side of the island to the main resorts and in a fairly isolated spot about ten minutes north of Ham Ninh. The road is still being built in parts but should be finished soon! The resort is picturesque, has everything you could need and is spotlessly clean - air-conditioning, comfortable beds, bar on the deck, good restaurant, big swimming pool overlooking the sea and an outdoor spa/massage service. The staff are friendly and very helpful and will arrange any tours/transportation you need. An excellent place to relax and unwind.

Absolutely beautiful! If you want to get away from the hustle, this is the place to be. The stairs were quite a challenge but your end destination was an amazing view with a great bar. The staff were friendly and so very helpful. Sadly, I wouldn't swim in the sea water, but there's a great pool and spa place which were just lovely.

Best hotel at Phu Quoc out of those where we have stayed as an overall experience. Friendly and pleasant staff, and quiet surroundings. No need to worry about people reserving sunbeds as there is always space. Those trying to reserve sunbeds soon realise that there is no need. Nice foods at the restaurant. This is a place for a relaxing holiday at a slow pace. The beach side bungalows are very nice with easy access to the pool. The hotel has a newly built lagoon in front with calm waters and no rubbish from the sea. You can borrow a canoe to go snorkling nearby by the huts in the sea. This place is highly recommended. Would definetly come back here.

Highly recommend this piece of heaven. Not only that the weather is constantly hot (31° during daytime) but add the following on top: lovely people (from the cleaners to the family that runs the place) that would do anything to make you feel welcome and relaxed, tasty menu (for all day long), fresh fruit every day (we got coconut "snacks" and mini bananas every day & and they are from the garden), a very clean swimming, great massage options, a looong deck and just a lot of enjoyable moments. I really don't want to leave this place, as it brought me so much joy. It's a peaceful, remote place, where you can spend your holiday. I feel my batteries recharged now. Go and check it out, you won't regret it ❤

Really beautiful resort away from the main buzz. Clean, quiet, beautiful. A great place to visit for a meal and/or a drink by the beach. Highly recommendable anf a great break from the usually rather very simple places on the island. Prices are very reasonable given the better ambience and quality.
