Food Lion

We are on vacation and needed to pick up some groceries. The nice guy who rang us up, let us use the store's discount card to get the sale prices. He was friendly and helpful. Thanks for being kind.

Food lion was a nice little grocery store that had everything I need for my vacation! They had good prices, and a super kind employee who gave me the food lion MVP discount because I am from out of town!

Food Lion is your place to go when you just need those staples to get by until payday or just need something for that evening for dinner. You can count on them to have dinner ready to go such as a rotisserie chicken and Hawaiian rolls!

Happy to find Food Lion. I've visited the store in Kentucky and Virginia. It's my go to place when I travel. Don't have any locally. Layout was very similar and I had no problem finding anything. Clean and welcoming service.

Food was very good. Liver and Onions were very tender, Pork Chops were very tasty, and Chicken Wingetts were delicious. The candied yams/sweet potatoes were really good too. Customer service was excellent. Everyone is friendly and caring ensuring that you are pleased with your meal.

Things were so good that I went there twice within a 3-day span.

Very busy place but well stocked and clean decently sized parking lot and close to lots of hotels.

Rachel in the meat department was patient and extremely helpful despite the store experiencing a power surge and machines not functioning normally. Employees were patiently dealing with frustrated customers. Kudos to the team! I hope management recognizes theie extra efforts.

I absolutely love this store. My son had a birthday and one of the employees went to the bakery and brought him back a bag of cookies. A couple isles down the district managers were doing a walk through. My son told one of the lady's that it was his birthday and she went to the bakery and brought him back a cupcake. Then, we were on our way to check out and the manager went over the intercom and told my son happy birthday. Now, that's a great neighborhood grocery store. It made my son's day.

I always use this store when visiting Williamsburg as they tend to have a small array of most things I need

Each trip down to Williamsburg area, results into a visit here after Sal's by Victor. The minimal staffing available has and will always taken time to answer questions and actually be HUMAN. By that, I mean, include a relaxed and calm demeanor. No attitude whatsoever, unlike other stores tend to have. This is a store you will like and be face to face with genuine people. But, I will admit to being in the service industry and it's not the easiest to be yourself 100% of the time and be genuinely yourself to the public. The crew tonight we just that and a delight to converse with.

One of the employees there, Kenneth, went above and beyond in helping me. I was having a hard time finding the right potatoes for something I’d never made and he not only helped me find them, but then gave me advice and tips for what I was making. He didn’t have to do all of that and I really appreciate the excellent level of customer service he demonstrated! All of the cashiers there are always friendly and helpful as well!

I live close to the store so I shop there frequently for convenience. Since the College of William and Mary is right down the road, the store can be quite busy in the evening. Of all the times I've been there I have never had a long wait at checkout. And just as importantly the customer service has always been outstanding. There are a few people there that have worked at that store for years, and I can see why. They have always been extremely helpful, offered prompt service, and have always made my shopping visit their priority.
