Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Cracker Barrel is the place to go for good, homestyle cooking at a cheap price. I ordered the southern fried chicken, which came with four pieces of chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, two biscuits, and two corn muffins. Everything tasted very good and left me satisfied. All this delicious food cost only $11.99. Try getting a good quality meal anywhere else for that price in Williamsburg. The staff and service were also excellent and there’s a great southern atmosphere overall. I’d definitely recommend going to this Cracker Barrell for a delicious meal at a very reasonable price.

Really Good, the last time that we were there they had a staffing problem and the wait was long to get in and even longer to get our food. This time no wait to get in and our server was great and very fast. We had stopped going but decided to try again, glad we did. Portions have got smaller but still good.

I love cracker barrel in Williamsburg. The food is really great. I love the corn muffins, hamburger steak, meatloaf, and vegetables. The service is always wonderful. The management is kind, warm and really cares. You just don't see that many places these days. I bring my 97 year old mom in for lunch in a wheelchair often to get her out of the nursing home. Diamond one of the managers is so kind to me and my mom. She talks to her while I get the car pulled up and shows pure compassion. Several of the others in there do the same. They are like family to me.

They were out of hot chocolate and had no honey. Both things my wife really wanted and gets every time we go there. We waited over 20 minutes to be asked for our drink order. A very nice lady at another table told our waitress that we had been waiting for a very long time. It was very nice of her to notice and attempt help us out.

By far the best cracker barrel in the area. The food portions are great. No tiny bowls of sides. The carrots side dish was well portioned. Not like 5 carrots like so many other cracker barrel's. The side salad was worth the $1.99! So big and fresh. Very happy with the service, our waitress Jess was on top of things.

The maple glazed chicken is stellar, the home style chicken crispy and delicious. The hamburger was a good size! More filling than the child size one in front royal. My family walked away full and with left overs!

They also had their candles on sale so we snagged a couple of those deals. I recommend the goat milk lotion, very moisturizing.

LOVE this place!!! Great food, great and beautiful waitresses and waiters, good atmosphere... unfortunately I'm a BIG MAN and they put me in tight spaces "sometimes," clean, clean bathrooms, variety of gifts in gift store... I had to literally pull my grandkids out the store, make sure to get there signature breaded chicken stripes/fingers, DELICIOUS!

I think they might be surprised to learn I was giving a 5 star review, but I was just so impressed by the way people handled everything. I don't normally go to Cracker Barrel, but I had a month long craving for some bone-in chicken done right, so that's why I came and that's what I ordered. I played checkers by the fire while waiting for the food to come out, by the server came out about 25 minutes later saying my ticket was only just being addressed and asked if I wanted to wait or order something else. I really felt for the guy, I knew it wasn't his fault and he looked so prepared for me to be upset (I've waited tables too, hungry people are scary), and I reassured him out was ok and elected to wait since I'd already waited a month and for once in my life didn't have someplace I needed to be urgently. I kept playing checkers. The manager came out w the food, and she was also great. She explained that the ticket had gone in during shift change from lunch to dinner, and that the meal I ordered takes at least 20 minutes to cook, and she apologized that the stress they had in the kitchen had been felt at our table. She said she took off the cost of the meal sans drinks so I would tip the server since it wasn't his fault. I just was really impressed w how they all came back from their misstep--like professionals, really. You can tell a lot by the way people face mistakes, and I thought they did all they could to prevent their stress from impacting me--and they did it without me even asking. I enjoyed my time there, I enjoyed my meal very much, and I thought the service was commendable. Thanks for saving my afternoon. :)

We get delivery at least 2 weekends out of the month if not all of them. The food is always amazing!! My favorite is the maple bacon chicken It is soooo delicous. The $5 add on chicken or meatloaf are great for dinner the next night. Their delivery is also fast.

Saturday morning (who would be crazy enough to go to CB in a tourist town on Saturday morning??), we had a pretty long wait to be seated, a very long wait for our food, (I believe they were short-staffed) AND YET... it was the best breakfast I've ever had at Cracker Barrel. I'd be willing to wait every time if that gal in the kitchen was cooking for me!

I like going to this restaurant. I always have a good experience. There's plenty of parking, the restaurant is handicap accessible, and the staff are very friendly and willing to assist. I was a little disheartening on how long it took for the food to come but once I got it it was delicious. Would absolutely recommend for a visit.

Vegetable plate was so good and came served on fancy blue dishes. Our server Kimberly was so friendly and helpful. The store has such a fun selection of things for sale.

Great food and service. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and friendly staff. Shopping at the country store after breakfast was also fun. The country style homemade food was so delicious. Try the tater tots stuffed with cheese and bacon! We will definitely return when we are in the area!

Our waiter was excellent. Unfortunately we didn't get his name. He was acting as host and server. He also cleared tables and swept the floor. While doing all of this he still provided great service.

This place is wonderful . Newly remodeled great lighting. The food area is cleaned all the time. The food is great. I drive 30mins to get to it. And will keep doing the drive to go there.

We decided to eat here after walking through historic Williamsburg. We were greeted multiple times by the very friendly staff and seated quickly. We placed our orders and the food was brought out in about 10 or 12 minutes. The food was hot and very tasty. The table service was excellent and what we've grown to expect when visiting Cracker Barrel restaurants. We were in and out in about 40 minutes. Great experience. 2022 Update. We stopped in and had another great supper.

I have frequented Cracker Barrel's for a while now along the east coast and have never been disappointed! Delicious food nice atmosphere and always pleasant welcoming staff, this recent experience was no different, would definitely recommend them to anyone especially if you're voraciously Hungry with their large portions!😋

Williamsbug Cracker Barrel 😊...enjoyed the food & experience ......it's located in a resort area and it's spring break for a lot of visitors and the place stayed pack and yes there was a 30 minute wait but they had the checker tables out and people also enjoyed relaxing outside on the rockers while you waited or just shopping in the country store... I enjoyed both while I waited... plus host Sean was so pleasant you did not mind the wait.

Once I was ready to be seated my waiter Mike was prompt with not only taking my order but my food was hot ready and moist...yes had to get my favorite the meatloaf ...and although they stayed packed from the time I waited until I left ... the atmosphere and staff were very pleasant.. calm.. served with a smile and all the guest seemed pleased...

Great meal and always a blast to shop the store. So many items bring up great memories of family and home. Wife bought a beautiful sweater. Food was hot and fresh.
