Captain George's Seafood Restaurant

We love this place. This is one of the few places you can still get all you can eat crab legs and they are good. It is all you can eat everything. The desserts are amazing. Don't worry if you don't like seafood, they have ribs, pulled pork, beef, and chicken. It is clean and the servers are great as well. Don't take our word for it, check it out yourself.

This has to be the best seafood restaurant that I have been to. $49.99 per person for the buffet was well worth it. Crab legs, shrimp, oysters and salmon are just a few items on the buffet. There were a lot of options to select from. I got a drink that came in a souvenir glass. It was just right. I'm not a big drinker. The highlight of the buffet is the dessert bar. Omg..the crust on the peach cobbler was just perfect. Flaky, right thickness and not doughy. The cherry cheesecake is baked just right. Our server Stephanie was awesome. She informed us that they have an in-house bakery and everything is made fresh.
I also loved how warm the staff was. Everything in the restaurant is constantly kept clean. Your server will come by to see if you need anything, take away empty plates, provide a clean bowl(used for crab leg shells), napkins and wipes. Great restaurant.

This place is not the cheapest but well worth it! If you like seafood, then obviously this is your place, but I was happy with the non fish items like the fried chicken. A great variety of food for all tastes. It's worth the price, and it's a fun experience. I highly recommend 👌🏿

Had the best meal and experience here! The buffet is HUGE! Full of many kinds of fresh seafood, other meats, sides, etc. Can't attest to the desserts, as we're too full long before we made it there. 🤭
My only negatives - the crayfish were way too spicy (and I like spice), and my stomach wasn't bigger. 😆

I love crab legs and to be able to eat all I want is a blessing. I went to another restaurant before coming to Captain George 's, 1.5 crab legs was $41.00. It was my birthday and Halloween and Madea waited on us. He was excellent. We also had some visitors with us and they loved the restaurant as well.

If you're looking for an awesome all you can eat experience with great seafood, amazing service and a unique ambiance, captain George's is it. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with the best service of our vacation and the food was all fresh. I've been here a few times and only once have I ever been disappointed.

Very impressed. The waitress was very attentive to our needs. The food was cooked to perfectum. The deserts were delicious, The waitress mead the dining experience better.

Highly recommend the Seafood Buffet is so good at only $49.99 per person. ($15.99 for ages 4-12) Enjoyed the crab legs and grateful that a server places them on your plate!! Also enjoyed Qysters Rockefeller, Stuffed Mushrooms, Corn on the Cob, & Steamed Shrimp. Many choices to choose from.

My mom and I went here with family and we had an extremely good time!!! We were joking and laughing and having fun with other tables around us and the staff. Our waiter, Matt, was phenomenal. His spirit and attitude was everything is should be and more! We never had to ask him to refill a drink or to empty our bucket. Before we even knew what to ask for, he had already taken care of us. We talked to the manager and praised him, only to find out he is a new hire of only 3 weeks!!! They have definitely found an excellent employee and I hope they continue to treat him right! It’s rare to find good service let alone excellent service. Keep up the good work Matt!

Very clean, very attentive staff, food was always fresh, kept refilled. I love the snow crabs. My 'server' Rob was awesome. This is a place my husband and I would come often from Baltimore. He's since passed away but I still drive down, eat and go home the next day. I'm 70. 😃

I have multiple food allergies and intolerances, so don’t eat out very often. Since it was Valentine’s Day, we wanted to go out. Captain George’s website indicated that they would cater to those with allergies, so we took a chance.

Upon arrival, I was given a rose (for Valentine’s), and we were seated right away. We asked to speak with the kitchen manager (those were the instructions on the website). Edgar came to our table, and took us on a tour of the buffet. Once we established which items were safe for me, he returned to the kitchen.

As promised, he returned to our table with plates of food that had been carefully prepared so that they were not only safe, but also delicious!

Both Edgar and our server, Joy, went out of their way to make sure we were treated well. We were so impressed that we bought a t-shirt on the way out, because we’re happy to promote this restaurant!

Very pleasant experience all the way around and the food is not the only star here. The restaurant was very cool in how it was decorated. From the flowers and the landscaping out front, to the theming inside, it set the scene up to a great meal all the way around. Started with crab legs and they were awesome. Then moved on to some fried scallops and oysters, She-crab soup, Oysters Rockefeller, mussels, two sizes of clams, and other wonderful things and nothing disappointed! I am glad I saved room for dessert because everything was great. They even had Baklava and Flan! The food was awesome but the decor and the great service made for a very nice experience overall. Thank you!

Best seafood buffet since Covid started. Fair price and exceptional service.

I visited with my family for an anniversary dinner, and they do not owe us ANYTHING! The tea was GOOD, The food was DELICIOUS! The dessert even was delicious! And most of all, the hospitality was on point!! They were very kind and tended to our needs generously! Thank you Captain George’s Williamsburg for all of your hard work! May the lord bless you all and the establishment!

I have never, ever been to Captain George's and there was no line outside. We walked straight inside and were taken directly to a table! We got there around 3:30pm. The good was amazing, as usual. There was no line at either buffet! We enjoyed ourselves. We look forward to Captain George's every holiday season!

This place is amazing. We had Derrick as our waiter, and he was awesome. We spoke with Monty one of the management team and he was as personal as running into an old friend. The food is amazing, and the place looks like it just opened (it has been there for years). The staff work like a well-oiled machine. If you ever have a chance to go do so you will not be disappointed.

This place was great, the food was plentiful. Our server Cynthia was awesome with our little one...We came on a Sunday afternoon during lunch, there was no lines or waits. We paid $44.99 We got the all you can eat buffet...that was better than ordering from the menu. The dessert bar was beautiful. However, I mainly focused on the all you can eat snow crab legs...they were worth my hour trip to get to the restaurant...lol..definitely a do over...

Awesome place to eat! Very clean and friendly environment. Our waiter was extremely nice and on top of everything. Definitely will go back, worth every penny! (especially if you like snow crabs legs)
