Club Wyndham Kingsgate

Love this place. It is a short drive for us to enjoy a family weekend. The employees are great and amenities are plentiful. We enjoyed the indoor and outdoor heated pool and hot tub. The grandchildren love the free game rooms, putt putt golf, playground and basketball and tennis courts. We enjoyed as a family group of 12 playing bingo with Pete and when we finished we sat around the fire pit and made s'mores. A wonderful weekend get away for our family

What a wonderful vacation. The staff were nice and accommodating. The rooms had everything to make you feel at home when on vacation. My family and I had 2 bedroom suites. They were spacious. It was quiet most of the time. The location was great. Close to restaurants, stores, gas. If you are visiting be sure to check out the game room , pools, sauna and onsite restaurant. I enjoyed it so much I will be returning. The city of Williamsburg is a quiet hidden gem. Yes Busch Gardens is there but there is so much more to this small hamlet. It's rich in history and has beautiful parks, trails and of course there is William and Mary College. Be sure to explore the resort and the city. World of Food is a great place to get some well cooked food and friendly southern hospitality.

We were invited to spend some time at Club Wyndham for our last week of winter break. Kingsgate was everything I could have imagined. Free arcade, including four gaming consoles all for children and adults to play. Many activities including a Movie theater, mini golf course, indoor and outdoor HEATED pool, two tennis courts, basketball hoop, a Tavern and parking lot games. The community is gated and monitored 24/7. My children had an absolute blast. Everyday there were activities and movies planned so it made it easy for us to decide what we wanted to do. The staff was professional, kind and always willing to help. Rooms were clean, spacious and included a kitchen with fridge and dishwasher. The basics for what you need are provided as well as pots, pans and a few storage bowls. We are looking to return in the future for a birthday trip.

Spent Labor Day weekend at Kingsgate. This is the first time we've stayed at this location (previously went to Governor's Green which was also fantastic). The wife and I stayed in a newly renovated Building 2, which are one of the handful of buildings being renovated and utilized by Wyndham owners. Even though I was unable to get an upgrade, the one bedroom renovated unit was perfectly fine and we were the 3 tenants since it was built. There is a large family pool and an 18+ pool as well as a hot tub, small movie theater, large, put-put golf, a fitness center and game room. For the holiday, there was a DJ and free food. This was one of the rare times where we actually spent a lot of time on premises. Will surely come back. Finally the staff was friendly and professional as always. Will visit again!!!

It was not just the rooms it was the whole atmosphere, you get the experience local food places with discount, or just stay on the resort I totally enjoyed myself..

Excellent place to stay. Very nice rooms and lots of activities to do there. Big arcade all free to play, tennis and basketball, pools, and mini golf. Small movie theater on-site too!!

Had a great 3 day/ night stay here. The rooms are nice and there are activities to do besides swimming. There's also a hot tub, indoor/outdoor swimming pools, mini golf, arcade, exercise room, relaxing rooms, Pokemon Stops/gyms if you're into Pokemon Go. It's not far from Busch Gardens and there are many good places around the area. Will come again. It's better to show up on a Saturday and go to the theme park on a Monday. Less crowds. We went for the Christmas Holiday fun at Busch Gardens which was really nice. My Fiance got on his first Roller coaster called the Darkoaster. An indoor roller coaster and we had a blast. I highly recommend staying here. Also Kingsgate will give you orange wristbands that are keycards programmed to let you go in and out of your room as you please.

Very fun place to take the family! Lots of amenities, close to everything, friendly and fast service and spacious comfortable rooms. Good beds! A little outdated but some areas of the resort currently being updated. Great price!

This property was head and shoulders above the Hilton Powhatan Resort which we stayed at earlier in the year. The staff was super friendly and didn't push too hard to make you attend the timeshare presentation. Pools were great and clean and the arcade (which is all free) was awesome. We all had a great time and will be back here the next time we return to Williamsburg.

My family and I had a wonderful time there. We didn't have to leave the resort except to get groceries. There is enough activities on property to keep everyone entertained.

The resort is clean and comfortable. The amenities are average. Our room was spacious. Yes the furniture is scuffed up and outdated so if that matters to you You may not enjoy. For us, clean safe and comfortable are the key factors and this ticked all of those boxes.

Absolutely LOVE this resort! What are your plans in Williamsburg? Doesn't matter! Cancel them! This place has everything you need. The arcades, pools, movie theater, and mini-golf are included in your stay. There are sports courts and a playground as well. We have stayed multiple times in older rooms and last time in a freshly upgraded room. Both are adequate and sufficient for my family of four to stay comfortably for an entire week. We usually visit Busch Gardens (15 mins away) and more recently Kings Dominion (about 45 mins away) while we are here, but build in time to enjoy the resort too. On-site laundry is a huge bonus when traveling. Some units have washer/dryer combos in them, and others share facilities with the building. I have never had to wait when we shared with others, but I also like to do laundry late at night. The grounds are well maintained, and staff are friendly. The only inconsistency I have noticed is that some units have an oven (or oven equivalent). Others just have a stove top. Plan to arrive with basic necessities and head to Food Lion once you know what you have, if you like to cook. All rooms come with a full-size refrigerator/freezer. There are ample stores and restaurants within a reasonable drive. The Movie Tavern is a must do on Tuesday's, they have had $5 movies for years since we started coming to the area. We enjoy our visits to Williamsburg, and Kingsgate is our number one choice for accommodations.

We love this resort. Pool and game room is immaculate. Rooms could use an update but only decor wise. They are clean and very convenient. Resort feels very safe. Tons of things to do. Basketball, Pickleball, ping pong, mini golf and many other activities. Great prices too. This is our 2nd time staying here.

The people were nice and helpful. Had a great time doing musical bingo with Pete. We had a full house and he kept it all together.

Very complimentary staff, a lot of activities on site as far games, pool and restaurant bar. Very comfortable roomy condo with full kitchen. Accessibility to grocery stores, shopping, amusement park and restaurants. Great location

We were only here for a short time (2nights) and booked via Air BnB. We got to check in a little earlier that the 3pm time given, which made our stay even better. The apartment was clean and well set out , and had all the amenities promised. There is so much to do within the resort - a tennis game was played as well as the giant checkers and connect 4 - and the bar was great (friendly staff, fast & efficient service, delicious cider).
I want to give a special nod to Willie who very kindly helped us with a puncture, loaning us his tire inflator and directing us to a great place to get it repaired (Discount Tire).
We plan to stay here again.

The place is under renovation so I'm sure the rooms will be nicer. But the amenities are outstanding and so is the staff. I hate that they try and make you do the timeshare sales pitch when you are there (especially when you book through a third party site), but other than that the place is great.

One of the best resorts we have stayed in ever! Great amenities for families. Great units with plenty of room and well stocked with everything you need to make meals.

Great Rasort For Family OR Leisure. They have many things to do. 3 pools, game room, tennis courts, Restaurant on property, 18 hole putt putt golf, movie room, etc!!

As a Wyndham owner I requested a copy of the recent directory . Your staff informed me I needed to attend a information session/ sale pitch. This is not complete true they/she informed me they at the other office would sell me one but never provided one upon request.
I believe this to be at minimum wrong maybe illegal I am scheduled to return this Friday Saturday Sunday upon my arrival at home on Monday I will contact corporate to allow them to correct this matter . My understanding is if owners request a copy one will be provided at all Wyndham sites. Please review your information on the matter we should be able to come to a better understanding this has again left me concerned for why I should be a member of such a club
