Sweet Mickey's Candy Shoppe

in March I was looking for gummy severed fingers for an Oscar's Party and came to Sweet Mickeys. Of course they usually only keep them in stock for Halloween, but the owner went searching on my behalf and got me some just in time! The effort store went to on my behalf made me a customer for life :)

This is one of the cutest candy shops I've ever seen. I love the layout. As you enter, it's candy drinks on your right followed by a wall of pick & mix style options from all over America & Europe, to the very back looked like some chocolates, to your left, unique and cute gift baskets for a number of occasions, and behind that the shop owner at the display and checkout counter, featuring in-house made truffles and fudge.

I stuck to the pick&mix because for example there were candies from Italy & Canada I wanted to re-try, but also unique flavors I'd never imagined before such as "spicy Mango" which literally tasted like someone melted pepper and mixed it into the gummy. It's delicious if you're into interesting flavors. They had more traditional flavors as well like strawberry, grape, etc.

The owner is polite and complimented my smile, so there's no way to add another star, because I can't but sure did help !

One of my absolute favorite spots in Ballard. Obviously I have a sweet tooth, but they're just so friendly in there. Feels like going into a candy shop when I was a kid. All the best options, and you can fill your own bag so always lots of mixing and matching. I hope this place never changes. Thank you.

The perfect candy shop. Most by the pound, employees are super pleasant and very informed about all the candy. Very international selection. We go almost every Saturday as a treat for the fam!

Also dog friendly and nice place to sit and rest your legs.

Super friendly staff and a great variety of candy! The fudge is excellent, and they even have tajin/spicy candies in one section!

Cute little shop! First time visiting and their dark chocolate covered espresso beans and pretzels were sooo good. They sell homemade truffles and fudges, so will visit again to try sometime

We just had our daughter's birthday at Sweet Mickey's Candy Ship and WE ALL had a blast. The space was incredible and Randy and staff were so helpful and kind. I highly recommend this experience for children birthday parties.

Very cute and well-stocked little candy shop in Ballard. Can’t believe I’ve walked by & haven’t stopped in before. The owner was working that day and seemed very kind. It’s very reasonable ($3.75 per 1/4lb) for the pick-what-you-want candy. They have tasty homemade chocolates at the counter. I got a Haystack and it was gone before I got to my car. Definitely stop by for a sweet treat.

The only place in Seattle with good salt water taffy. We were in town from Austin on Father's Day and came by the shop. Randy took amazing care of us and let us try some of his delicious candy. He also makes his own fudge which is to die for! Skip Pikes Place's candy shops and just go right down the road to Sweet Mickey's. A guarantee you'll love it!

They are expanding their store and they have lots of different candy and sweets from around the world. Rebecca and how we were really nice girls that were excited about candy also work there.

I wanted to send a Get Well candy gift to a friend in Seattle but I live in Boston MA. I read about Sweet Mickeys online and called. They were exceptionally warm and personable and although they do not usually deliver, they said yes! They proceeded to put together two beautiful gift packages for my friend. They sent photos and did all of this over the phone. What a wonderful experience! Thanks to Lois, Lola and Frank! Don’t go to another candy store in Seattle. Please go to Sweet Mickeys—-you will be happy you did!

I recently went to Micky’s to see if they had my favorite candy (jelly belly black berries and raspberries) they had the Haribo brand (which in my opinion are far inferior, but i swear they change the recipe and I got mixed up and told the person at the register they were mislabeled and I didn’t see a place to email you to let you know i was wrong and i was haunted by my misinformation. Anyway. Their fudge is amazing 10/10. Could switch haribo for jelly belly and that would be wonderful.

This is the best place to purchase fudge. I received fudge for the holidays and it is DELICIOUS!!

This is by far my favorite shop in Ballard and my favorite candy shop I've had the pleasure to frequent. The candy selection is impressive but I come here for the handmade treats - specifically the fudge. The fudge flavors are vibrant, the texture is melt-in-your-mouth smooth, and it lasts as long as my will to eat it slowly! And the owner, Randy, is an incredibly kind man who has offered to make me fudge on request - multiple times - as my favorite flavor (mint chocolate) doesn't always make the rotation. But the flavors are worth exploring and you'll easily find a favorite, if not two or three more (the red velvet is a close second for me). Highly recommend; your taste buds will thank you!

Beautiful, little, old school candy shop. Great candy selection but where this place shines is their handmade selection. It’s a small selection executed superbly. The fudge, peppermint bark and peanut butter cups will be the best you have ever had. We stopped by Sunday during the weekly market and the gentleman behind the counter was very kind and appreciative of the business. After we had the bark and peanut butter cup we came back the next day to restock, the girl behind the counter was friendly and upbeat. All around a must stop in Seattle!

What a precious little shop. This candy shoppe has it all. I loved taking my 6 year old daughter in to see all the vintage style candies. It was so fun letting her pick out the ones she wanted to try. The owner is so great and I hear they are opening a party room...can't wait to give it a go. Only one thing I wish they had...A SHOPPE IN BOTHELL!!!

I had a lovely experience shopping here! I was looking for some small chocolate presents for Christmas, and the clerk took the time to help me find personal gifts for each of my friends that matched their tastes. They even had me sample some of the goodies before buying them, and may I say that they are truly delicious! I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to add a personal touch to their gift giving!

I went to so many stores today and everyone had such a bad and rude attitude and I kept thinking about this place and how I wish every store was as friendly as the owner and this girl who was working there she told us she is going to Princeton soon. The moment me and others walked in she was so friendly and helpful with everything. Not only that but their candy selection is phenomenal. I am so impressed by your customer service I spent more money than I had anticipated. :))
