Eureka Market

Truly my favorite Eureka Valley / Castro corner store. They have a lot of things I need or tend to shop for at random hours of the day or night. They’re open late most of the time and they have a great selection of hard alcohol, wine, beers & sake. Along with plenty of non alcohol options, dry foods and frozen meals / desserts.

The staff who work here are the reason why I keep coming back. They’re very friendly, personable & they don’t follow you around the store like some of the other stores nearby. Very LGBT friendly! Huge plus.

I also met the store owner’s cat: Alfredo! See videos. He’s super friendly and hangs outside the store to greet you upon entry! How cute, right?!

A small market but a very good one. Situated on the outskirts or the Castro and Upper Market street. This store has recently changed ownership and is thriving. They have some craft beers as well as a decent wine and champagne selection. They have a (Good) (Better) (Best) selection of hard alcohol as well per your palate. Eureka market also has some pre packaged "refrigerator" foods like cheese, lunchmeats and hot dogs and some frozen foods as well for example. A few cabinet snacks and foods as well with some condiments. If you need a Maté; they have it there as well. The owner "AG" is a good guy and hooked up the store with a CA Lottery ticket system so if you partake, grab a ticket as well. The store also has a small "smokers" section as well. Definitely give Eureka Market a stop by and buy. If you're in the area.

Perfect place to grab some beer, wine or ice cream. The owner is super friendly.

My local market always comes through. They’re always open at the right time when you’re missing that one baking ingredient, craving that particular snack, or on your way to a party and need to bring a good bottle. And the owner is such a welcoming and friendly guy. 👍🏼👍🏼

Great selections of all needs. Nick and his Eureka Market has been a wonderful neighbor and business in historic Eureka Valley (1881) - first organized neighborhood in San Francisco and proud home of the friendly and progressive Castro community since the late 1970s. .

Great convenience store. Nick, the owner, is awesome and always gives my dog a treat. Decent selection of craft beer - love the Dogfish Head seaquench ale!

My fav neighbourhood market! Great when you need alcohol or a quick snack. The people that run it are always really friendly
