SANTOS SPICE PRODUCTS

Santos has a large variety of spices, tea, chutney, fresh produce, different types of flour, dried legumes, an Indian frozen food section, rice, and many different products from India. The staff is courteous, respectful and helpful. The store is clean and well organized. The parking lot was redone. I love coming to this store .... it's always an adventure.

My new favorite grocery store! I don't know why I have never made it to this place even though I was born and raised in the bay area! Everything is so cheap!! Cheaper than the peninsula and cheaper than the south bay! Everyone is also nice and helpful here.

Huge selection of spices, grains, and other things. Freshly made items are also available. Staff is very helpful

We visit about every 1-2 weeks and always look forward to trying a few new products.

This place is well stocked with Indian cooking needs. Huge selection mainly for cooking needs,small portions of religious products,cooking utensils. A very roomy place,clean, and make shopping is a pleasure. Credit cards are accepted.

This is exactly what I was looking for. This is absolutely my favorite place for spices.

This store has it all. Almost all of my curry spices have come from Santos at this point.

Their prices for the quantity are unmatched in the area. The people are friendly and will help you find specific items. Top quality place.

I am so impressed with this shop. Amazing varieties on every product. Even in India, I didn't find this kind of vast varieties. The only store in bay area where the cost is reasonable, a happy client when we exit the shop!

Great store for Indian groceries, spices, kitchenware, etc. The people are so nice and helpful. They have fresh produce, the normal stuff and some specialty type of ingredients like kafir lime leaves, Indian bitter melon, chilies, etc. It's a big warehouse type market and is fun to walk around and look at all the interesting products. Oh, and don't forget to pick up some hot Samosas on the way out at the cash register, the best! As far as people complaining about expired products being sold ... yeah not good, but this is not the only store that let's that slip. And why would someone buy expired products anyway, look at the date before buying it. And also it's usually a 'best buy' date and not expiration date.

Best Indian Groceries store in San Francisco. Very polite and welcoming staff. They have everything you can think of, if they can arrange it and ship it to you.

I was looking for spices and this place is amazing! So many spices, fresh, good quality and much much cheaper than even in Amazon. Love this place! I don't know if they are selling Indian food, seems like sweets only. It's best place and close to my house. Very recommend!

prices are pretty good too, it's mostly Indian but we use also spices that they use the people were really friendly and yes I will be going back there.

Love Santos they have amazing spices, beans, lentils, rice and so much more. Their prices are great and you can buy in bulk. I learn more everytime I go there.

Absolutely love the people who work here so kind and helpful. They always offer advice and recommendations and they have everything.

The best place for every kind of Indian foods and spices imaginable. They also have a wide selection of things for Hindus. Very friendly and very helpful staff. It is a cultural experience in the heart of the Bay Area. California's Indian shopping outside India. They also carry a wide selection of bulk spices, flours (atta), rices and other authentic Indian foods. If you like cooking Indian cuisine and want authentic flavors of India, this is the place to go.

Never seen such great assortment of flours, rice, spices, lentils and Indian food (samosas are such a treat!). I love them! I'm so happy they are here in San Leandro. The price/value is amazing. I don't think I could get it cheaper anywhere else near here.

There's also a refrigerated section where you can get frozen Indian food or just normal veggies. I can highly recommend their plain yogurt and naans as well. The most alluring is probably the counter itself. There are loads of sweets, pastries and other baked goods (again... samosas!).

Also the store itself... it's big! Looks from the outside might be deceiving, but once you get in, you'll be surprised. Be sure to check the fresh produce, tea shelves and scented sticks. They also sell pots, pans and other utensils you might need in your kitchen.

It's best if you just pay them a visit and see it through your own eyes. You won't be sorry, I'm sure. :)
