Found my local stationery paradise! I recently visited the shop to pick up my online order, and I must say it exceeded my expectations. The variety of products was impressive- they carry tons of great quality brands from Japan, and, Jenny, the staff, was incredibly friendly and helpful. Overall, a fantastic shopping experience!

Jenny's extensive knowledge of stationery made our visit enjoyable. The warm and cozy vibe added to the experience as we picked up our online order and found some adorable additional items. Highly recommended for stationery enthusiasts.

Amazing selection of stationery. Some hard to find paper and inks at reasonable prices (Traveler's Company, Hobonichi, Dominant Industry, Troublemaker, Wearingeul). They were nice enough to make me a sample for a Sailor Yurameku ink when they didn't have any for that ink on the shelf.

It was my first visit here. I love this store and will be back. I bought 2 bottles of waterproof ink and the lady was very helpful and kind. She also told me about a store in New York City, after I mentioned that I was from New York State.

I wish I could visit in person, but for now I’m limited to online ordering. The Paper Mouse has been great on that front: my order was shipped promptly and was packaged with a great deal of care and attention. I really appreciated the sticker and calendar card—those extra touches make shopping at small stores all the more rewarding and worthwhile. Thank you!

One of the only places in MA that carries Hobonichi! They have a wide selection of Japanese stationary and trinkets. Will definitely be back for more.

As a recurring customer for around 5 years now, it’s safe to say these reviews don’t lie. The owners/staff are some of the nicest, friendliest, and most helpful people. Just yesterday I bought a kaweco to replace the metropolitan as my notetaking pen and I already love it. The recommendation couldn’t’ve been better.

Paper Mouse is definitely my favorite stationary store, my sister and mom agreeing. They have some paper available for if you want to test a pen or pencil which is helpful, like for seeing how a pen might feel when you hold it, or how think or thin a nib on a calligraphy is. The people there are also really nice, they offer to help and explain well if you are curious about something or how it works. There’s lots of things to buy which makes it hard to not want to buy it all. I would highly recommend The Paper Mouse.

high quality stationery for everyone at multiple price ranges, they have all sorts of pencils, paper, pens, stickers, etc. i'm really glad i found this place!

From the second you step into the store, the vibe is really chill and everything is neat and organized. Paper Mouse comes out with their own products as well as other things! They have more than just writing utensils and paper, like smitskis and wooden figure, books! The staff are really helpful to get the right thing for you and are really nice! I always look forward to going there again!

With everyone shopping online or at giant chain retailers, and the steady decline of the love for the written letter, it's become quite difficult to find a half-decent stationery store. Add to that a place the specializes in fountain pens, has an awesome backstory, and collaborates with local, independent artists and you get this amazing gem of a shop.

The decor is very warm and welcoming - you want to look at every shelf, stand, display. They carry some really amazing, hard-to-find stationery goods - I'm not even sure where to start.

Let's start with their in house brand. The Paper Mouse (go check out their website, their back story is cute!) art is adorable and so well done. They have a great selection of art prints, greeting cards, postcards, vinyl stickers, gift wrap, and even a fashionable tote bag!

Fountain pens. I am a fountain pen ... enthusiast? Whenever I travel, I always have to hunt down local fountain pens shops, and I'm part of a community where we will travel across the country (and often internationally) to attend pen shows (yes, there are pen shows). The Paper Mouse has a really nice selections of fountain pens ranging from beginner pens like $30 Lamy and Kaweco entry pens to a bit higher range like Sailors ($$$). They have a great little pen bar for you to see and test out their pens, and they seem to really know their stuff. They also have a very nice selection of fountain pen inks - they offer an incredible selection of ink samples for purchase as well. Whether you're interested in your first ever fountain pen, or you're a long time user like myself, I really think this is a great shop to check out.

Paper goods. They have an entire second room dedicated to just paper goods. They have a lovely wall of greeting cards, postcards, and art prints (I own several) to cover whatever occasion you can think of. I love that they collaborate with independent artists. Beyond this wall, they have an extensive selection of notebooks, especially if you're looking for something that's fountain pen friendly for that new pen you just bought!

They also have some very unique home goods that would make perfect housewarming gifts.

I can't say enough good things about this place - or the staff! Everyone I've encountered here is friendly and knowledgable. Whether you spend $0 or $300, they are always quick to help. This is probably my favorite stationery shop in the Boston area, even if they aren't the biggest. I always walk out smiling.

Have you ever seen a seen a more perfect shop? No. No you have not. The Paper Mouse is a slice of heaven with an amazing selection of stationery and wonderful staff. They don't just sell fountain pens, they carry my favorite brand and model even the limited editions. The setup is great for browsing and I found it difficult not to purchase nearly everything in sight. The curation is top notch. Parking is nice and easy. I cannot wait to become a regular and I truly hope they are around for a very long time.

This is my favorite store in Boston. They have an amazing selection of hard to find Japanese Stationery from great brands including MD, Travelers, and more. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful as well.

Such a cool little shop. I'm a fountain pen lover, and was able to try out some hard to find options, as well as some cool less common Japanese art and writing supplies. The staff is very nice, and the layout is browsing friendly. Will be back.
