Fabulous store! I’m slowly trying to transition into living more “plastic/ package free” and this store makes it easier to do. Don’t worry if you forget your reusable containers, they have you covered with paper bags etc. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

I always receive friendly fun positive customer service. I’m impressed that the prices for organic items purchased in bulk are generally quite competitive. It great! I get to reduce my environmental impact at a reasonable price! The bargain hunter in me thanks you!

I also love the use one/replace one jars and containers folks leave for others to use. No worries if you forgot your reusable containers (or buy more than you planned!), the enviro community has got you covered; just bring an extra one next time and keep the love going.

Such a fun store. Calm vibes, quiet and clean. I love to get local apples and black beans here. Reasonable prices and great quality!

Perfect little grocery store with almost everything you’d need!

It’s incredible how much can fit in this small store: produce, pantry goods, dairy (strong non dairy options too), frozen food, bulk foods (nuts, dried fruit, pasta, grains, beans, flour, sugar, tea, spices, and more), kitchen staples, and cleaning supplies. I’m sure I missed a lot in that list.

You can bring your own containers to refill liquid soaps/shampoos/cleaning solutions from Cleenland, bulk foods, spices, tea, and even vinegar and oils. Great range of everything and strong selection of goods from local purveyors.

Big grocery stores can be too stressful sometimes. Neighborhood Produce is my new go-to!

Affordable, convenient, and great selection of produce. There is also an area where you can buy dried goods in bulk, bring your own container or use one of the containers at the store.

I am beside myself with glee!!! I have been dreaming about a store like this one for so long and now my dreams have come true! Locally owned. Sustainability centered. I am in love!!! Finally, a place where I can buy pasta, rice, and beans without creating waste from the packaging. Amazing! I believe that BYO container stores are the way of the future & I feel so lucky to have such a progressive business steps from my home! Not only do my values align with this business but the friendliness of the staff made me feel perfectly at home. This is a welcoming place for everyone with excellent people and product selection. Plus they carry cleanland's product line too! So many fantastic things wraped into one perfect shop! Consider me a regular!

Very handy and I love the bulk products, so you can bring your own containers to refill, and avoid plastic waste. I'm now using the dishwasher detergent, shampoo, and other cleaning products, all with bringing my own containers. Also milk in bottles you return.
Friendly staff, great selection, welcoming atmosphere!!

We usually go to the Winter hill location but we come here when we need to grab more than just a bag full. It’s always surprising how you can essentially fit a star market into a shop this small. Makes you realize larger grocery stores just have to much stuff. Staff is always super friendly. The events they put on always look like fun too.

Neighborhood Produce is the most intelligent and welcomed addition for food availability in Somerville. They offer every staple and luxury item that I could wish for, including vegan alternatives. So very happy with the warm interiors and the friendly staff.

Everywhere I go, I look for a place that sells beans in bulk, because I love beans and hate garbage. This is the place. The best bulk section I've found in the area yet: great variety of legumes, grains, nuts, seeds, etc. And importantly, liquids too: vinegar and olive oil. The fresh produce all looks great, there's zero-waste household and body stuff, some bakery products, it's all there. Some local stuff. Reasonably priced too. Looking forward to coming here as my regular grocery stop.

the best grocery store - wish there were more of them! they have everything you could need and at surprisingly fair prices considering the quality of the items. the staff are also kind and knowledgeable!

This is our go to grocery store. We buy 90% of our weekly groceries here and the prices are all reasonable. The staff is very helpful. My only complaint is that they're not open 7 days a week, but that's probably better for the employees so I'll get over it

This grocery is a godsend! It is so thoughtfully put together with the essentials, carefully picked out so that it reduces the decision fatigue that can come with shopping these days. Best of all, and heart-warmingly, what the owners have created brings back the local community grocery store of my grandparent’s village where, like in Cheers, everyone knew your name. Thank you for putting this labor of love together for our neighborhood!!

Don't know where to begin! Such a nice option to shop fresh and local.
Quality is unmatched & they carry my favorite Greek yogurt (Sophia's). I love the bulk section too.

Some of the other items in the store tend to be on the pricey side I've found, but not outrageously so.
