The best paint store in town! Expert staff. Friendly people. Super helpful. I’ll never go to another paint store or hardware store for paint when there is Wallauers!

Staff was courteous and knowledgeable. They told me what I didn't want to hear for my project. Sometimes you need a reality check. Certain paint type need special tools and special technique. I appreciated the honesty. I'm definitely coming back to annoy them lol.

Always impressed by their ability to match paint colors and finish. The larger the piece, the better the match. The previous owner of my home had said that all the paint colors were from Wallauer’s - And we had previously brought in samples that were able to be matched to existing colors in Wallauer’s catalog. But for our bathroom, Wallauer did not recognize this color in their system but were able to custom paint match the color and finish. I expected it to be off a bit and maybe I’d have to paint the wall over. Not at all, I only repainted the area I damaged when replacing door/trim.. And it was an EXACT MATCH. I’m a customer for life.

Always come here for my paint and decor needs. Helpful and friendly staff. All the supplies needed. Highly recommend!!

Update 10/29/22: Love this store even more now. I bought a gallon of paint and hated the color. Mike spent a half hour trying to change it to a color I preferred for no charge because I didn't want to spend money on another gallon. He does anything he can to please his customers. He's the best!

Love this store. I get service with a smile and they'll make up my paint and have it ready for me so all I have to do is call them when I arrive so they can run it out to me. No better paint than Benjamin Moore. Really nice crew working here.

My experiences at this location have been exceptional. I have met with and talked to Chris in the design section on many occasions and her help has been invaluable!!!
Not only is she professional and knowledgeable, but she is kind and friendly and follows up with you to ensure a positive experience.

Awesome people behind the counter. Mike was a huge help in matching my colors and he's a big hickey fan so thats a 10 for me!

Got to Wallauer's minutes before they closed. They were preparing to lock the doors but let me and another customer in. We kept them an extra 10 minutes and they helped us both with a smile. I know both of the employees helped in earnest, and sent me home with what I needed. I do not know their names, so I am including the date for Wallauer's administrators. Sunday 11/4/22.

Great quick service. I had a paint from 9 years ago and with the number combo, he was able to mix it in 5 minutes. Very good store to go to. I highly recommend it. Very knowledgeable and helped me out numerous times already.

Staff is always super helpful here! I drove out of my way to support this family run business! They are really good at color matching and advice when you are decorating!

Accomodating to the pros, patient with the DIYers. The store is always well stocked, and they carry multiple Benjamin Moore color families, so the selection is huge.

I have been using Wallauer for all my painting needs since buying my first house back in 1983. Just redid my new coop and bought all my paint and supplies from the Mohegan Lake store. They were SO helpful, even helping me to match a paint color from a magazine picture. I wouldn’t shop anywhere else!

Staff here is insanely helpful and knowledgeable. Sure it may be slightly higher priced than the bigger stores (if even).however the quality of products and service make it worth the stop if you're in need of paint or stains

Met with Chris from Wallauer who did such a fantastic job of helping us to select, order and have installed, really nice, good-looking and functional vertical blinds. She was most helpful in color coordination, fabric selection and the process of ordering and installing the blinds.
