Recently needed an out-of-state transfer of a FA. Wes made the process as quick and painless as is possible in NY now. We also bought some fishing tackle for the spring. I highly recommend this fantastic, family-owned business. Same vibe as the rod and gun shops I grew up going to, love it! Will definitely be back.

I was looking for a specific brand rifle bag. Mohegan Sportsman’s website showed it was in stock. I called and spoke with Wes. He was very friendly, professional and helpful as I had a few questions regarding the bay. Wes had to unpack the bag to answer the many questions I had. I bought the bag. Transaction was easy online and shipped out the same day.
We need more mom & pops store like we used to have with friendly service. Thank you and I will be supporting your store a lot more.

One of the only bait and tackle stores in the area & Closest one to Cold Spring! I came here for worms, and weights to fish the Hudson River….

Stopped in for ammo before some range time. Prices on the cartridges I needed were comparable to prices on good online retailers. Ended up speaking to the owner for a while. Good guy and very honest by my judgement. Extremely knowledgeable regarding firearms, air rifles, optics, and load outs. I recommend this shop before any other I’ve visited in NYS (about a dozen shops).

Although I didn't make the purchase I was looking for, the owner was very helpful, knowledgeable and didn't try to steer me to a different model or more expensive item.
I would say that if you're looking for a first time or maybe a different type of item, you can trust that he puts customers first.

The owner helped me with my first setup, asking where I was going, what my budget was and let me know what I could get now and in the future. I walked away with the perfect rod and reel for the upcoming trip I was going on and I still use that as my goto gear.

Wes is a great guy that I trust and respect. He is my ffl for all of my online purchases. He doesn't have a large firearm selection but he does right by me.

I had a friendly conversation with Wes and his Mom, regarding ways to cook fish. I find prices reasonable. If you can't find an item, you will be directed to a location if they know where you can probably get it. I was told where to get blood worms fish Bait in Peekskill or Mahopac.
