Sheraton Mahwah Hotel

We just had our wedding reception at Sheraton Mahwah two weeks ago and had a fantastic time. The staff were friendly, allowed our guests to check in early and had the ballroom cleaned and ready for our event. Chris Garrison and Frank at Mahwah were very helpful in planning our event and Frank helped us on the day navigating various logistics.

We couldn’t be happier with how our event went. Thank you to everyone at Mahwah for making our day special!

Living in Mahwah, I never thought to or needed to stay at the Sheraton. But I had a few friends coming in from out of town and figured it would be fun. From the moment I walked in the door all of the staff were respectful and very pleasant (something you take for granted nowadays). From the moment you pull up to the hotel, it already feels like an experience. This hotel is massive, the views are gorgeous, and everything is nice and clean! Breakfast was also very good and a step above from any traditional continental breakfast. Go visit yourself & spread the word and make sure the Sheraton stays!!!! Mahwah landmark!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Sheraton Mahwah Hotel, and I must say that it was a truly exceptional experience. I did not stay at the hotel, so I can not make a comment on the rooms. However, I went to The Dead Man's Curve car show that was held on the property. It was a good car show. A lot of cars attended the show and of course they had about a dozen dragsters, which were started up to everybodys delight. Eddie Munster, Chuck Zitto, and a couple of actors from the movie American Griffiti were there to sign pictures. And, the weather was excellent.

You have the best hotel in the Northeast .... Beautiful Rooms with views .... I strongly recommend .... This hotel has plenty of rooms .... Feel free to spend time here .... It is very relaxing .... Plenty of parking as well .... Enjoy your stay ... You will have great memories here for years to come ...

This is my first time staying at this location so I was not sure what to expect. As a lifetime titanium member I have stayed over 2,800 nights in Marriott branded hotels. This place far exceeded my expectations and I want to take note of s few people that went above and beyond during my check in and stay. Sam literally took care of me by even getting me lunch when the restaurant was closed. Joseph with his bowtie brought class, friendliness, and support to help me on local areas to support. Shakiba greated me with a smile.

We had an amazing time! My fiancé, son and I showed up a few hours early to see if we could check in. The front desk assistant waived the fee and thanked me for my service as it was brought up in conversation. From the moment we arrived everyone was helpful in helping us find our room and even helping us plan out our day in New York. I will definitely be back as they have earned my business!

Came for a work conference. It was surprisingly easy to get to. The hotel was much larger than I expected. The conference rooms and bathrooms were nice. The food was also pretty good!

I spent the weekend here, and it was so peaceful and quiet. I love the elevator and the view you get. The pool was very clean and the building itself was big. I didn’t get time to go to the bar and dining area but I enjoyed my stay overall. Also we got an hour extension for check out, without a fee.

Just wanted to give a quick shoutout to the Sheraton at Mahwah for giving my family an incredible wedding experience!

My wife and I scouted a lot of potential venues for our wedding reception, and ultimately fell in love with the Skylight Ballroom at the Sheraton. It's on the 12th floor and surrounded by windows - so it gave such a beautiful view and let in plenty of sunlight that impressed all the guests. It was also very reasonably priced compared to other venues we looked at, so we knew from the moment we saw it we wanted to have our wedding there... and it did not disappoint!

But even more than that, we were incredibly impressed with how much the event staff accomodated our every request and need while we were there. Almost all of our guests were Muslim, so we had unique requirements in the form of gender segregation of tables, to making space for prayer, even to switching out the fryer oil to avoid cross-contamination with non-halal foods - all of which were completely accomodated. Unlike other venues, they've had experience with South Asian weddings, so everything went seamlessly the day of.

Highly recommended if you are looking for an extravagant wedding experience for a reasonable price!

We chose Sheraton Mahwah as our wedding venue because we loved the view of the mountains. We knew our guests would enjoy the serenity feeling of the property. The ceremony, the reception, and the stay at the hotel was spectacular. We couldn’t be happier!!

Lovely hotel, the renovation has really elevated the lobby.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing - especially Jennifer M at the front desk. She went over and beyond to help make my stay enjoyable.

We were here for a wedding and she went above and beyond to keep everyone upbeat, informed, and made sure folks were having a great time!

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone in the area.

While they were undergoing an update/renewal they still did a great job taking care of their clients. Great bar and restaurant. Rooms are large and extremely clean

We stayed at the Sheraton Mahwah for a few days during the last week of December and our stay was very good. The lobby was grand and beautifully decorated. It had great, well designed seating areas too.
We stayed on the 19th floor. The rooms were very clean and neat. The bathroom was a good size and it was well appointed.
You will need a car here to get around. There are LOTS of restaurants & shopping within a short driving distance. Many restaurants deliver here too.

The customer service was great! We'd like to compliment : 1) Front Desk: ANALYN, STELLA and 2) Restaurant : GEORGE & JOSAFINA.

We are Platinum & checked in with Analyn. Analyn was very professional and courteous. For our Platinum status, she provided vouchers for a full buffet breakfast. She answered our questions about the area and was very helpful. Stella was very kind to provide a some extra waters as I was just getting over bronchitis, and there was no water left in the vending machine.

We used the pool twice while there & the water temperature was very comfortable. Kudos to the engineer (I did not get his name) who was also very professional and helpful, for keeping the pool so clean and at a comfortable temperature.

The restaurant was recently nicely renovated. Seating included booths and regular seating. George & Josefina were outstanding servers. They were both professional, friendly and extremely attentive. We had the buffet breakfast, which included : scrambled eggs, eggs sunny side up, bacon, sausage, toast, croissants, breakfast potatoes, bagels, fresh fruit (blueberries, oranges, apples) , pancakes, oatmeal, cereals, grits, muffins, danishes, various breads and yogurt.

The building looks really nice. My GPS got me there with minor issues. They have guest parking. I went to an event. I did not stay at the hotel. A friend of mine who attended the event stayed at the hotel to be closer to the event. She loved her room and the amenities. The staff were nice. They made sure I got to the right location of the event.

My husband and I have been working with the Sheraton Mahwah since this past June to arrange for a lodging destination for our guests for our wedding just 2 weeks ago. We have been specifically working with Tracey and there are truly no words to describe how wonderful she has been. Persistent, kind, accommodating, organized, dedicated, diligent, supportive are just a few terms that touch upon how amazing her services have been when planning a wedding - and planning a wedding during a pandemic. Tracey organizes everything to the very final detail and is extremely knowledgable on the hotel and what is available for guests. We visited the hotel more than once to get a personal tour and Tracey was always there to explain everything and never once made us feel rushed or stressed. She helped us decide the best rooming situation for getting ready the morning of our wedding, informed us about the option of using conference rooms, and organized our next morning recovery brunch to the T - which the food was absolutely delicious!!! We are so blessed to have crossed paths with Tracey as well as to work with someone who was so delightful to be around. Kindness goes miles and miles and Tracey is the exact definition of that. Our stay at the Sheraton was exceptional - a beautiful view in every room, clean, spacious, and wonderful staff. We extend our biggest thank you and gratitude towards Tracey and the Sheraton Mahwah for everything they have done for us. It is never a question whether you should book your stay at the Sheraton Mahwah - you will be safe and more than satisfied!! We can't wait to go back! Thank you Tracey and the entire staff!
