The staff here is SO courteous. I ship from this store rather than the “other one” across the street because here, I’m am treated like a human!

I had to mail several envelopes this morning to two different addresses and went in as soon as they opened. The lady working was friendly and really helpful. She helped me pick out just the right size larger envelopes to group the smaller ones into so I could save money instead of sending them individually. I don't understand all of the negative reviews, like people think she personally sets the prices or can control anything else that UPS sets as their policy. Sometimes good, friendly service is worth paying a litte bit more for shipping.

I lost my phone in a Uber recently, I was traveling from Victorville and I was stranded in Livermore after Uber took off. I would like to thank the UPS staff that worked on Nov 1st, I believe Zack was one.
Thank you very much for your kind customer service and concern you all have shown me.
I used the phone and computer for about 2 hrs desperately looking up my contacts on google trying to fing their phone nrs to let them know I am all alone in town with nowhere to go.
Also got a hold of Uber!
Thank you very much for just being caring and offering all types of advice!
UPS you have one great crew working at that location!

Not sure why this UPS store has low reviews. I always use it and have great experience every time. I never have to wait, they are always attentive, helpful and polite.

The people here are always helpful for Amazon and other pre-paid returns, but it is very expensive if you are doing your own shipping.

I find that the staff is very friendly but...Ouch! The prices are waaay too much. Use the USPS. Longer lines but worth the wait

Initially this store did a great job at getting me the box I needed. I shipped a medium size round table to myself from CA to PA. I packaged it according to their recommendations. I received the table in PA and it was destroyed. It looked like it fell off a fork lift a number of times. I have filed a claim with UPS. I have learned that the store that ships a package that is claimed as damaged will give the “okay” to have UPS reimburse the receiver. This store denied my claim. UPS Customer service has specified that the table is not worth the $500 insurance and that it was not sufficiently packaged. I have tried calling this store numerous times to talk about my claim and they will not answer my calls. I called repeatedly and it got to the point that the phone would not even ring because it was “busy”. I can understand if a store is busy but at least answer the phone and ask me to wait. I will be following up with this store until I am paid what I am owed. UPS destroyed an antique table that is valued at $1000. All I’m asking for is $500. It doesn’t matter how well a box is packaged. If it was crushed and falling apart like the way I received it, nothing would have prevented it from falling apart.

I went here to send a package that needed to be to its destination within two days. I was first told I should buy one of their boxes because mine wasn't brand new. The box was in perfect shape, it had only been used once. The woman working quoted me $167, before paying I confirmed the delivery date, she told me a week because "it was cheaper for me." I had already told her it needs to be there in two days. The new quote was now $224. At this point I decided to take my package to FedEx. They took the box as is with no comment about its condition. For the two day shipping I paid $103. This UPS store wanted to charge me an additional $121 for the exact same service. It was well worth the walk across the street to FedEx.

Lady at the customer service counter is very clear that this is a "Customer Last" store. She said that they don't care about our low ratings as long as we get paid $2.50 for the tiny piece of tape. Lady was fun to work with but customers beware that you will be charged $2.50 + tax = $2.77 for a small piece of tape if you missed to put some tape on your package.

This was the first time ever I was charged by a UPS Store to put a little piece of tape on the box. It just can't get any worst than that. Save yourself some frustration and go to a different store.

Yeah it's a shame these days that stores have to nickel and dime you for every little thing One piece of tape about 12 in long they charge me a $1.70 it's not that I can't afford the $1.70 but my gosh if you ask me that's just bad business and it shows look at their rating it's like two and a half stars or something horrible store stay away unless you have to go there The discovery Bay store awesome they go out of their way they'll box stuff up give you a box well it's a shame that this business must be starving for money if they're charging you a $1.70 for a 12-in piece of tape instead of doing what they have to do to make people happy and you keep a good record online

Few months ago I purchased a few items. It was shipped by UPS to me from this store. The person whom I purchased the items from, kept me on the loop about the delivery and gave me the tracking number and the UPS Corp.Cust. Service number. I waited a week, two, three weeks then I asked the seller to help me. She went to the UPS store at 4435 First St. LIVERMORE, (this store) and was yielded at, mistreated and scorned. Zero results on the where about of my purchase. A month went by.
I kept trying to track it and call UPS Corp CS. They finally told me that my package was lost in Georgia (in route to my destination in Florida) they suggested that I have the store owner file a report to UPS. Since the items were not insured, UPS would only be able to refund up to $100. I was okay with it and so was the seller. The seller went back to the store to ask them to send a report to Corporate in order for her to file the claim. To her surprise and horror, the two owners ganged up on her, yelling, humiliating her in front of the other customers, a classless show was displayed for all to see. They flat out said they’d not send the report and told her to leave the store. (!!)
Without their report, the seller could not get her refund, I couldn’t get my refund. She offered to pay me back and we split our losses, I felt bad for her. What a horrible experience. Sad to be treated this way without any regards to civility and good manners, not to speak of Zero customer service to their paying customers. I WILL NEVER, EVER, USE UPS AGAIN DUE TO THIS ILL TREATMENT. I’M DONE!!

For two weeks I have had a package lost in the abyss of UPS. The fact is that once I dropped off my package at this store there is no more record of it at all.
I called the store and the older lady, owner, answered. Politely, I started to explain my issue but she cut me off, saying all pkgs always get put in the box for pickup. I tried to ask if my package might have been overlooked, she raised her voice saying, It is not in my store!
I said, losing patience, how do you know, you haven't even asked me for the tracking number! And I hung up. Rudest Lady EVER!
Now I'm dealing with UPS directly.

Two weeks now and no sign of my package. Once I left it with this store there is no more record of it, it has not been scanned at all. I think it is in that store, being overlooked, I don't care what the angry lady says. Ups is talking to her.

Rude older lady has no customer service skills. Did not say hello back, did not speak when spoken to, acted incredibly rude during entire transaction. She should really not be working there, or anywhere for that matter.

Pathetic UPS store to be. I went in to get couple of color copies. I was told 79 cents each and that is fine and expected. But then I wanted to send the doc to their email. To service like that, the lady told me that there is a service charge of 3.79 in addition to photo copy fee. That also with an attitude that I am doing a felony. Can I believe this. All the other reviews makes total sense. I just went to office max and got the copies without any kind of service fee

Absolutely horrible service - I would give 0 stars. The women closed the store literally 15 minutes to closing. A lot of people were outside hoping to get in and they would not open the door. The Indian woman was rude (she always is anyway) and decided she was done for the day. Literally, 15 people were outside standing, upset, waiting to get in and perplexed that she closed the doors before the store's normal hrs of operation. I will not rest until I get hold of the owner. One thing for sure, they will never have my business again. Also, there are many more UPS stores popping up all around. I will sure avoid this one.
