Great selection of rugs reasonably priced. Always fun to stop in and see what they have in the store.

Interesting close-out store. Referring to this place as 'a mixed bag' would be an understatement. They have such a random assortment of things that it is sort of undescribable. That being said, I have found some really great deals here and I've found the staff more friendly, hard working and personable service than just about anywhere in town.

What a strange collection of things! You will find clothing, homegoods, stationary, cleaning supplies, tools, carpeting, electronics, assorted foods, health and hygiene, the list goes on. I particularly enjoy digging around the food section and have found some high quality dry pantry items at very reasonable prices. There are some gems mixed into the rough. The staff has always been very kind.

I love going to ocean state job lot. It reminds me of spending time with my grandmother. I occasionally find odds and ends there at a decent price.

Oddly laid out, somewhat disorganized and messy, and always an adventure to visit! OSJL is a true closeout store, and you are never sure what you will find there, with some items priced dramatically below retail (and others about the same as retail). Set up in disused retail space with barely any redecorating (this one is a former Circuit City, and you can still see traces of the old decor), this is no frills shopping at its finest. I have spent far more money here than I feel comfortable sharing.

It has come a long way from its first appearance in Portsmouth.

I never know what will be offered each time shopping there. The aisles are tidy, well displayed, and clean.

Top quality products are everywhere and always at bargain prices. When something is wanted and found, better buy more of it, as next time it may not be there.

The staff is exceptional. Eager to please and very helpful.

Not too busy. Easy to stay socially distant while shopping. Lots of great prices. Searched every likely area of the store for dice and when I couldn't find them, I finally asked the cashier, who in turn asked the customer service person (Amy?). She happily went and retrieved the one set of dice left in the store from a kind of hidden spot. So excited! So grateful. I always appreciate when I get good customer service especially at places that don't really cater to that. Kudos to her!😊

How could any rational person not LOVE Job Lot???

So many great deals to choose from. The folks there are very kind very nice. Store is ready to get around in..even in my rolling walker..which my daughter bought there for me. Best Walker I have ever seen or used. A sure bet if you need one.I will be going there more often.

Store was reasonably neat. Seemed clean. Organized at the registers, plastic shields up, cleaning the space between customers. Everyone working was pleasant and knowledgeable about where things were. They also have a promotion going.. pay $40 for a winter coat. Give it to the cashier and they will donate the coat to a veteran in need and they give you a $40 OSJL gift card. Sweet deal and easy to do a nice thing. Well done!

My wife makes fun of me because I love going to OSJL. But we have a big family and this store fills a lot of needs. We also do a lot of property renovation so the Crazy Deals make a ton of sense for us.

Great place to shop at if your looking for great bargains. Very nice selection of masks for kids and adults. Extremely nice cashier, it was nice to see her clean the area before and after waiting on me during this pandemic. Highly recommend this store.

Great selection. But if you see something that you grab it while you can because of the endless rotation of products it may not be there. They are usually stocked up and the sales are great and with the low prices you save more there than at most big box stores. The products are also in good working condition. The service of the staff is really awesome. They all enjoy the people and are ready and willing to help if they can. I would say take a look here. If you're looking for something at a Target or Walmart make OSJL a stop on your list.

I love this store because they took an old busted circuit city and brought it back from the dead. Always nice to drive by and see the flowers and plants for sale outside in the summer. Job Lot has good deals and you can sometimes find something for sale from the 80’s or 90’s if you’re lucky.

Be prepared to get lost in here - lots of good deals, lots of stuff.
Unless you're in here for something specific, plan on being in here browsing for an hour or so. It's one of my favorite places to go and browse, especially for interesting foodstuffs and home decor items. Sign up for their card if you frequent the area - there's periodic sales and special deals for card members.

Great place to find LOTS of things I didn't realize I needed until I saw how reasonably priced they were! The staff is so helpful & friendly also!

My husband absolutely loves this store. They have great items for great prices. We just bought a 6 in one cooker for an amazing deal. Best place for all your needs!!
