Austin Books & Comics

Only my 3rd time visiting this establishment since 2013 (I don't get uo to Austin as often as I'd like to). But from then to now this is a GREAT spot to visit and shop or just look around at great comics, compilations, figures, statues, and all kinds of other trinkets, stickers and curios. Definite recommend...
Actually, the entire centre this store is in has interesting galleries and gaming shops in it as well.

Every time I visit to the city of Austin. It's a must for me to stop by Austin Books & Comics, especially if I have a lot of time to use. They have everything your Geeky/ Nerdy heart can't resist from Action Figures, Statues, Funkos and other collectibles which of course the comic books. I could spend hours here and never get bored because there's always something interesting to find. Staff are very helpful and will definitely help you with any questions you have. Been stopping by for many years which I'll definitely be back soon.

I really loved this place. There was so much to look at from collectables to modern print comics. I found a few comics that I had been on the lookout for so huge bonus points! The staff was really kind as well. The only way this place could be better is if there was a small lounge spot so I could start reading my comic haul 😄

Fantastic selection on manga and more and excellent customer service. The store itself is very clean and well-organized.

For our Christmas shopping, my partner and I found some really books that we did not see in any other stores in town - a Harry Potter Christmas baking cookbook and a book about “scary” Christmas folklore from around the world, “A Christmas Bestiary.” We love that manga is always 10% off MSRP.

The staff is so friendly and helpful. Last week when we needed to leave during a rainstorm, they actually gave us an umbrella that had been left in the store for ages! We really appreciated that.

This place also supports up and coming artists which is so cool too!

The Comic tour rolls into my favorite shop in Austin Tx!! They have tons of back issues!! Plus they've done a nice upgrade to this section as well. This store has a sweet collection of toys and statues if that's your preference!! A MUST STOP for all us nerds! Enjoy 👍

I am way too comfortable in this place. If you want it, they have it or know how to get it. Great mix of the old and new and something for everyone 7 to 70. Easy to arrive and hard to leave...you've been warned!

Awesome comic books. I love the comics they have on the wall. And everyone there is so friendly and willing to help and answer any questions you may have.

Large availability of new and old comics. Friendly and helpful staff. I usually stop by when I happen to be in the area.

Fantastic selection of old and new! It's probably a good idea that they don't have chairs to sit in...no one would want to leave! My son and I love the life-size Hulk and other figurines. Very cool that they have an lgbtq+ section.

Wow, this is easily the most dedicated shop in Austin. The attention to detail and organization is immaculate. There is so much in this store to love, from unique statues to rare comics. Fair prices, great condition, and a massive stock will keep me coming back.

You talk about rare items, at great prices. Plus it really is worth subscribing to them I mean these guys rock, they rock my balls off! For those of us that are stuck here with the same "mimic book" stores in San Antonio
it really is worth going up the road and just seeing what they have now I have yet to go in there and negotiate because I'm big on Golden age stuff but the day will come.

Exceptionally great experience. I walked in and was greeted by some very nice staffers. I told them it was my first visit there and they immediately offered to guide me on a tour of the store! I only had them answer some questions and direct me to what I was looking for but the offer was still very nice if them.

There is a massive selection of collectibles and even more books and comics. I actually found so many issues I wanted to buy I had to take a breath and put some back so I wouldn't break my bank account. Haha. 6/5 and will definitely be returning time and time again.

Everyone there was very helpful and kind. They have a huge selection of both new and old books & comics that are well organized.

This is Hands Down my favorite Comic books store in the world.They have old comic/bac issues, New comic, Manga, Kids Comic cool Figures and the vibe are chill the employees are the beat I go there so often that every employees Knows my Name ...every employees is cool and very help ,you can even pre-order comic books /make a pull list

Trevor invited my son and I to stop by and check out the store. We finally got around to going and instead of my son buying comics, I spent almost $100 on a collection that caught my eye. I'm happy with my purchase and Trevor was great! We'll definitely be going again..for my son 😉

The staff are really great--they are always ready and willing to curate selections based on interests and preferences. Their selection is, by far, the best in town.

Really cool collectible comic books here. Super rare and expensive ones too. I think you should stop by and check it out for yourself!

There is a huge selection of action figures, comics, shirts, mugs, pins, small mystery boxes, and many other items. I found a cool BB-8 mug here and bought it. The staff was friendly and the store was easy to navigate. Also, my girlfriend was able to take her dog in, but we did not stay too long. You can easy waste an hour or more here just checking the store out.
