Dollar Tree

Great staff here! Typically, they are all friendly people. They take thier sweet time on some days, but I've never felt disrespected or ignored. I come here a lot because I think it's fun and a great place to find crafts or cheap snacks. Clearance section needs to have better discounts. And where are the discounted holiday items?

I went to the Dollar Tree on Burnet Road for the first time, I was surprised to see how well stocked the aisles were, how clean and organized the shelves were and the staff were very friendly, during the past few years I was becoming less happy with the experiences I was having at the Dollar Tree due to them cutting back on their selections along with the shelves being disorganized, the Dollar Tree on Burnet Road took me back to a time when I used to love & enjoy going to Dollar Tree, it's exactly the way Dollar Tree used to be.

The selections seem to be more than most of the other Dollar Tree's I've gone to in the past few years.

I know employees come and go - and in the past, customers recount bad experiences, but im here to tell you, presently, the employees are awesome. There was an item they were out of, and two ladies, whose names I can’t remember unfortunately, put their brains together, and helped me come up with an alternate workaround. It was a super clever solution, and the two ladies were so nice. This was the last weekend in May I believe, and one of the sweet ladies even helped carry my bags to my car because I was on a crutch. Also, the man at the checkout was really nice. He even went to find a bigger bag to put my larger items in when he just as easily could have forced them in the small bag. I am very impressed. Thank you dollar tree.

My experience of this store is that it’s professionally managed, clean, stocked and organized ! Unlike other Dollar Tree’s within only a few miles from this one; that are unorganized and product is lying on the floor throughout. This store is a sanctuary with no trash to step over and no screaming uncontrollable kids to damage your ear drums! 😉. It’s simply a peaceful and joyous experience to shop here!

So i am editing my review of 3 stars from 4 years ago to a 5 freaking star review for customer service for a new hire they recently employed. His name is George. I have been coming to this particular Dollar tree for years and this one has been hit or miss on its choice if employees, but recently the main manager lady and this George guy are winners in my book. George especially. I cant say enough positive things about him!!!! His fun banter with the customers, friendly demeanor, great customer service, speedy checkout, upbeat attitude. Small talk was awesome. I just couldnt say enough. People in line were even talking about it!!! is such an improvement and such a nice surprise to the normal humdrum dollar tree atmosphere. Thank you George. 😊

Love this $1 Tree. There are 2 full isles full of crafts, a great selection of frozen and canned foods. Usually have coffee, always parchment paper and a good selection of cleaning products. The workers are friendly and efficient. And they all know their store so asking for locations and availability of items will get a quick accurate answer. Only downer is no available restroom.

I love dollar tree as a whole, & this store never disappoints! However, this time it was rather busy & there was one cashier ringing everyone up while the line only got longer & two other employees standing outside the door where they could see her clearly needing backup, chatting it up while smoking cigarettes. I'm not that old, but when I was trained in retail, the customer comes first, but not only that, you help your fellow coworkers out when they're clearly in need! She couldn't even call for backup because her help was outside! But they could see her & should have cut their break short & come in to help. That is all.

Katie (at the Burnet store) not only helped me with a smile but she helped me find two items that I was so excited to get! Such a friendly vibe in this store!!

This Dollar Tree was a while lot better than Wm. Cannon. The people are so much more friendly. More items to choose from. Well stocked. Sometimes a little more well stocked lol

Kind people the store needs a lot of help to get stocked and clean but there was a lot of everything you would need there

Always a great place for bargains. I always purchase my "cheater" glasses here. Who can beat $1 a pair. Instead of one pair for $10, I purchase 20 pair and artfully sprinkle a pair in every room, the car and a couple of pair at the office. I also purchased kitchen towels and dishcloths. Furnishing on a budget, it's the perfect place to shop.

Just never know what you will find. Now that everything is not a dollar they have a larger selection of items, but right now they are struggling to get the shelves stocked. Everyone is working so hard and they always seem to be short staffed.

The store was very busy and Katie the manager WENT OUT OF HER WAY to help me. I was amazed!! This is the best experience I have ever had at a Dollar Tree! She gets 10 GOLD STARS!

Great place, friendly staff! Can't beat the prices . Update 7/2022 still the best deals around. They always seem to defy the current retail staffing issues and come up with friendly and helpful workers

I usually frequent the other location on i35 (next to Ross).. and since I was going toward Burnet area, I decided to check this location out.

Complete 180 difference! This place is super clean and organized.
I was so used to the disheveled appearance of the other location that I was a little shocked.

You can find anything here, and most times, I end up walking with 5 other items that I didn't come in to buy. "Oh, I might need this. Plus, it's only a dollar....." Gets me every time.

I usually go pretty crazy and buy lots of things because they stock so much from all corners of the world that something's gonna be useful, and it's ALL so inexpensive. Two areas I've always liked — art & office supplies AND cheap candy — are well represented here.
