KJ Produce Market

I recently visited KJ Produce Market in the Inner Sunset neighborhood, and I was thoroughly impressed by their recent renovation. This store has not only undergone a fantastic transformation but has also made a significant positive impact on the neighborhood.

What makes KJ Produce Market truly special are the two twin brothers who work there. Their warm smiles and cheerful personalities never fail to brighten up my day. They go out of their way to provide excellent service and make every visit a pleasant experience.

The prices at KJ Produce Market are incredibly affordable, and the selection of produce is vast. It's a paradise for anyone who loves fresh fruits and vegetables.

Just a small little market, this place is fantastic for what it is! Though sometimes the produce can be hit or miss on how fresh it is, this place has pretty much everything you’d need on a day to day basis. The guys who work here though are extremely friendly and welcoming, and make me want to keep coming back!

As someone who works at UCSF just a block away from KJ Produce Market, I can't express enough how convenient and invaluable this market has become to me. The recent renovation has turned this place into a true neighborhood gem.

One of the standout features is their acceptance of EBT, making fresh, high-quality produce accessible to everyone in the community. Moreover, the extensive selection of frozen meals and deli sandwiches provides a quick, healthy option for those of us with busy schedules.

LOCALS KNOW! Only place you can get really fresh produce in SF. I think they have a special supplier relationship because even when you can't find stuff at safeway and trader joe's KJ has it.

I’d been combing the whole neighborhood for Maseca and chipotles in adobo sauce, and this store finally had what I needed! Friendly service and good selection for a small store.

Great neighborhood store with a good selection of fresh produce, dairy products and dry goods for a variety of cuisines. The two guys who have been running this place since the renewal are both friendly and professional.

Great spot! Friendly, helpful family who runs it and wide selection of products. They’re always asking for feedback so they can improve and provide what the folks in the neighborhood want. Good spot for produce, easy stop for almost everything else you may need in a pinch.

Great local choice of fresh and relatively inexpensive food. I talked to Yaseen - the guy offered me to call and ask if they have anything. He was extremely polite and service-oriented. I'd be glad to visit the place again when necessary.

Hooray! Our corner market is back and better than before! More items, new floors, fresh paint on the walls- very friendly owners! They have much of what the market had previously AND more! And they are so friendly- some of the old staff is still around too. They now have freezer cases w items such as pizza/and frozen Cornish game hens! They’ve leveled up and the neighborhood benefits! Yaya and his family are very helpful!

This is NOT a review of the *old* KJ market. This is new- they reopened ~11/21/22!

Super friendly and helpful staff. Great products and a surprisingly large amount of choice in healthy items as well. A huge change from the last store that was there. You should drop by. Very clean and well organized as well.

The sweetest folks work here. They brighten up my day. Very receptive to requests for items to stock.

The elderly couple that runs this market are charming. Their prices are really great, and when I was super poor, this place kept me alive. They do have bags of veggies at a larger discount if they are ...about to go bad. I would just avoid those because their normal prices are already good. Be careful when selecting stuff on the tables outside because they've been sitting out for a while.

This is also a good resource if you're too lazy to go to outer sunset chinese markets.

New owners! The place is so nice and clean now, no bad smells, no moldy produce. Wonderful renovation and the staff are so pleasant and polite!
