I went to keys this morning for a 50 pcs chicken wings. I was in a rush and the young lady ask me how much time I had. I told her about 20 min. She said with a smile no problem. She was so nice and respectful. My order was placed and the young lady in the back was even nicer than the first one. Ladies please forgive me I did not get your name. I was there December 20 at 830 so the schedule will tell you who was working. As I looked at the menu I wanted to order everything up there. Ladies Thank You!! You really can't beat the price for the lunches and you could tell it was goo by how busy it was! The food was nice and hot, definitely worth it to try!

Stopped by breakfast one morning, ordered a pork chop and egg sandwich. The line moved quickly to place my order. I sat down in one of the chairs facing the buffet line until I received my order. Not sure how they remember who ordered what but they’re very efficient. The price was reasonable and the food tasted like I cooked it myself. I was pleased that I received my monies worth. The cashier was nice and respectful as well. You can also place your order over the phone for things like fish and grits. There’s also a meat market counter where you can purchase fresh meat at a good price. Ex. 2 lbs of meat for $20(wings, chops,etc). They also sell huge quantities of cooked food for family gatherings but I’d call in to place to order. They also sell sugar free sodas there which is rare in a hood corner store.

The food is good, like I would cook at home. My favorite is the stuffed bell peppers. On the days I don't have time to cook I get a plate. I bring my husband lunch to work. Their food is the only thing close to mine that he enjoys.

This was actually the best fried chicken I've had in New Orleans. That seasoning SMACKS. 10/10 bomb af highly recommend. Way better than a birdies or something like that.

$4.99 a plate....you can't beat that. First time going and I was very pleased. The ladies in the back took their time as I explained it was my 1st time there. The food is really good and I will visit again. I got Smothered Orka with baked chicken and cornbread. My daughter got a Stuffed Bell pepper Plate with greens and cornbread. It was $6.99 and the plates were overstuffed.

Absolutely love this place, I haven’t had a bad thing on the menu yet. Even the raw meat is fresh ready for the pot. The staff is friendly even the owner mike greets you with a smile!!! If I can eat here everyday I will definitely do just that. Oh and let’s not forget about the prices... it’s affordable for the amount of food you’re getting

Whenever I don't feel like cooking, I ALWAYS go to Key's! Their food is hands down better than what you would get in one of these restaurants in the city and on top of that their plates are only $6.99 then there's a different special every day and so many options to choose from! You always get cornbread and some kind of vegetable with your plate so it's a meal that will ACTUALLY fill you up and might leave you with some leftovers. Their food is just like the food your mama or grandmama would cook for you. If you haven't been to Key's, you're missing out!

I go there for the $4.99 chicken wings. Never disappointed. The $5.99 Shrimp poboy is premium, on New Orleans french bread. The grits (with cheese) breakfast at $2.00. is a complete breakfast, not some scaled down version, and all lunches are home style cookin. If you come to uptown New Orleans, BY ALL MEANS, visit this place to eat.

GREAT prices on prepared food. I got a large breakfast which was a poly styrene to-go container (FULL). The breakfast comes with grits with butter ($.35 extra for cheese), toast with butter and a package of jelly, scrambled eggs, and your choice of sausage link, sausage patty, smoked sausage, or bacon. All for $2.29! Would definitely recommend and will return daily before work. Make sure to tip your hardworking ladies behind the counter! <3

It's a little piece of history for Uptown... It's been there for over 50 years... Yes you get history lessons here as well...Hands down the best food everrrr!!! I can't get over the price!! You shouldn't be able to get as much food as I did in the morning for 1.49. I'm not playing the chicken is good the fish the shrimps the fries... whenever I get my plate I look around as if they they did me a special favor by packing my plate with so much food and I'm not supposed to let anyone else know!! But they do it for everybody!! I can't name it all IT'S ALL GOOD!!! The front is ALWAYS packed so don't plan on being in and out in less than 15 minutes unless you call in your order which you can for some stuff so that's cool. You can go day after day and try everything until you've had it all and I guarantee that nothing will disappoint. The ladies that work there are tough but sweet. The more you go the more they know you. I love it! I will miss it dearly ...if you're in New Orleans you need to go here for some good eating.. don't let the buildings location stray you away go in! YOU'RE WELCOME. 😉

Had one of the best shrimp po boys, well seasoned shrimps fried nice and dressed neatly. I really enjoy the food from po boys to the daily specials and of course the chicken plates. Prices are very reasonable as well.

Best place to get authentic, New Orleans, great food. The saying is, if you want to eat well, go where the locals go. Well, this is the spot. My favorite two things about Keys...the 4.99 breafast- which includes 4 strips of bacon or two sausage patties, scrambled eggs, toast, and grits with or without cheese; and Spaghetti Thursday. Go to Keys on a Thursday and get their cheesy, baked spaghetti with cheese/uncheesed broccoli or corn, and 5 fried chicken wings for 6.99 (I think). Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

Cheap price, great food and great service

Really good price on their meat selection, and the guys that work there are the best! Good place to go if you need something in a pinch. If I ever move out of the hood, I will miss Key's.

I love Keys. The polite Ladies in the back can make a mean breakfast special that includes choice of meat, grits, eggs, and toast for $2.50 and for lunch they have the best meatloaf or stuffed pepper. Ya have to check for their daily special and of course they have poboys or wings.
