Harvest Urban Market

Located at the heart of San Francisco, srounded by old houses. There are lots of homeless sitting on the side walk, but it is clean near this shop. The shop clark is friendly. They carry lots of fresh vegitables and fruits, including some local farm's.

I love this place, great coffee, friendly, has a little bit of everything I need. Great deli and salad bar. Clean and organized.

All fresh vegetables..fresh fruits ..flowers too were there..kind of a joyful +colourful shopping...rate nominal

The chicken Enchiladas are so good along with the Chipotle Shrimp fettuccine. Excellent flavor.

I love this market. I lived around the corner for several years when this was the nearest and really only grocery in this neighborhood. The selection was vast and the owners care about the community. I am disappointed to see it being edged out by the new whole foods and wouldn't be surprised if the quality has suffered due to reduced patronage. Hard to compete with the massive chain but I hope people give it a chance. That neighborhood needs to retain some heart!

BEAUTIFUL! I stumbled on this gem as I walked around in search of a modestly priced breakfast. There was a little counter where coffee and delicious everyday bagels were made. Coffee was fine but the atmosphere was so local and sweet. The produce was abundant and fresh, with great variety. Sadly I didn't get to delve deeper but it would be a place I'd make my local go to.

Harvest Urban Market is the local Grocery store for myself and most of my neighbors and friends. The products are always amazing, they have excellent cheeseburgers, and fire sandwiches. The owner Gil is a local legend, and one of the sweetest guys I've ever met. He truly cares for this city, his store, and the patrons that seem to become regulars very quickly every time.

Great little corner store with nutritious, wholesome food & snacks. My favorite is their fresh salad bar with choices aplenty. I often end up with 2 bowls due to their variety of well prepared topping choices.
The groceries are always well stocked with an excellent variety of nutritous items. A tad bit pricey, but well worth it!!
The staff is helpful and friendly, with minimal checkout lines. I have tried many things & none have disappointed.

Pricey, but impressive selections. A large selection of specialty sodas and drinks from all over the world. A deli bar with enchiladas and pasta and cakes and deserts. Fresh fruits and veggies. Recently added a coffee bar. Delicious coffee, and open until late in the evening!

Location is fantastic, place is spotless with a great selection of product, especially organic. The staff are the nicest people I've met, and will help in any way they can. The prices are significantly higher than Trader Joe's, and even higher than Whole Foods. The food bar has great options, and the espresso's are delicious.

Definitely overpriced but very nice staff, comfortable environment, great location and clean store. Wide selection of items available, however, could use better sign postage for the location of goods. Would make some things easier to find but because it's such a friendly environment I don't mind wondering around.

Amazing helpful staff, clean, well organized, delicious soups & variety of healthy & organic foods/products!
My boyfriend had gone in on the off chance that they would have soup for me.Turns out they do & a nice variety at that! I had the most delicious chicken noodle soup. I returned the next day for the same soup but they had none in rotation. One of the staff was extremely helpful when I asked for suggestions on other places nearby that would have a comparable soup to theirs. A few minutes later, he apparently noticed I was still looking around; he went in the kitchen & then found me to tell me they had just made a fresh batch of Chicken noodle & we're just about to bring it out. He then served me up a huge to go cup & made my day. Thanks to all the staff for the wonderful attitudes & work ethic! If we're in SF again I'll definitely shop here again.

Great specialty store
Went in late one night to get a sandwich after work and was informed buy one get one.
That immediately told me everything is always fresh. Pricey? Absolutely.
Worth it? I'm a regular. The free sandwich meant my lunch the at work the next day was free.

I love the products there it's a quiet market that has good food hot and cold

This is a great neighborhood market... I am not sure why people are noting it as overpriced, they have fair prices and great healthy food. I pop in here for the sandwiches and salad bar, it's consistently fresh and great. I especially enjoy the friendly and engaging staff, they are a large part of why I keep coming back... again and again!

I used to be pretty skeptical of this place, but I've come to really appreciate it. It's expensive, but convenient, and they have a surprisingly good selection of all sorts of things. And the owner and staff and really nice, good people doing hard work. (This is a really tough neighborhood in which to operate a business like this)

This place is my go-to when I am at or leaving work. The sandwiches are great and they have a large selection of chips, breakfast, hot food, drinks. It's basically a great market.

Very hipster but not all of the items are expensive. Also great ambiance. Has indoor seating area to eat or be productive on your laptop.

Short walk compared to other places and open later. BUT it's pretty expensive. I only go to buy fruit really so not a big deal to me

This place is fantastic! A lot of foods and beverages at the right price for San Francisco average. We stayed in San Fra for 3 days and we took our dinner there every evening. The owner, born in Canada, is very fun, he was so polite and kind, I also met his little nephew Cali! He's too coool!! So young, 7 years old if I'm not wrong, but very smart! I love his hair, he will be a model a day trust me! :)
