J & R Gas and Mini Mart

Are you looking for big brand gas station service? Approachable staff? Safe environment? Yes? Well this isn’t the place for you. This place is rough around the edges, middle eastern environment so if you’re soft or you don’t like the way they laugh or play around it’s probably cause you’re sensitive. They’re very social people making the best of their long shifts. Once you get to know them they’e the nicest people to know. It’s a convenience store in the ghetto. If you feel a bit on the wild side and want some cheap gas come here. No one can beat their price.

I stopped to get gas because they have the best prices around. When I paid for the gas I was given a Nice Christmas Card. Even in these financially hard times, this business owner went above and beyond during the holidays to show his appreciation to his customers.

Maybe it's the neighborhood. You have to go inside to prepay with a fixed amount or leave your card until you finish pumping. Prices seem to be reasonable. There's a small convenience store.

Llegué porque era la gasolinera más cercana, la persona que me atendió fue amable. Le falta limpieza al lugar, el mini Mart está ok, puede uno encontrar snacks, sodas y cerveza. Me pareció que se encuentra una zona peligrosa.

They charge $30 per propane tank even if your tank its not empty. I usually spend $70 to fill 4 tanks and today I’m spending $120. Go at the Shell in 28th street! Today I couldn’t go there because they were without power because of the storm

Unfortunately I cannot give 0 Stars. But apparently the owner is not aware of the rudeness of his young punk employees. I went there because there's a sign that clearly says outside Western Union transactions. When I asked to do the transaction inside these two young punk employees basically asking me if I was stupid that they did not do Western Union at this location when I made it clear that there was a Western Union outside of the building an older Hispanic male came as I was walking out and apologize for the two employees my suggestion avoid this place like the plague

They stated the gas prices was $4.30 regular 24 hours ago and when I get here it's $4.59. Liars

They sold me an open vape and refused to give me a refund or a new one, disgusting, I saw them take it out the case so they had to have put this used one back to try to resell it, ridiculous

Unbelievable how they are ripping off residents in Barrio Logan. Don't shop here ever

WARNING! HIGH ALERT!

These guys erase all the expiration dates off the food items. Be aware you don't want to end up in the hospital from food poisoning like I did.
