Not just a bookstore but gift store too. Used book section as well-LOVE THIS. So many options! Book selection is legit with personalized recommendations and handwritten scripts. Love this personal touch! Great add to West Bloomfield, Michigan!!!

I love this bookstore. I was able to do most of my holiday shopping here because not only do they have books and toys, but they also have a huge section of gifts. Give yourself plenty of time to browse, as there is a ton there.

Great selection of books! There was a Schuler Books close to my college; I'm so glad this place is so close to where I live! I love it! It has a homier feel than B&N. You can find the latest best sellers here. If you have any questions, the staff is eager to help; they might even have some book recommendations. They also sell other things, like mugs, calenders, and other gifts for birthdays and holidays, and beautiful wrapping paper if you need it.There's something for everyone here. Highly recommend!

Will this ever be another Borders? No, Borders was unique. But this is close to it. Well thought out, spotless, a great newcomer to the whole revamped bookstore scene. Isolation has taught us that pets and books are man’s best friends.

Absolutely love it! I especially love the Christmas decorations. I love the knick knack they have for sale, the bath bombs and office desk quotations just to name a few. They have great children's books.

Beautiful store with wide aisles making super handicap accessible. Lots of new releases, unique gifts and a huge children’s area. Employees didn’t greet me as I walked in but when I asked about a basket, they were super accommodating. There are no membership clubs like Barnes and Noble which means books and other items are full price. However that didn’t deter me from purchasing over $100 of merchandise. My 2nd favorite bookstore in the area only because I can save money every time I shop at the competitor store. Also no cafe which was nice because that allowed the space to be filled with books. Signs are also hung where they can be seen throughout the store making selection of a particular genre much easier. This store has only been open for 2 weeks. I highly recommend a visit. You won’t be disappointed.

I first went to another larger bookstore closer to home. They had only a few of the books I wanted to check out for Christmas gifts. And there was no place to sit and peruse and decide on which book for whom. Schuler had most of the books on my list and they provide a comfy spot by the fireplace to check them out.
No cafe at this location, but that's not what I went there for.
I'll probably stick with Schuler books for my Christmas shopping.

Beautiful store. The staff is very nice and helpful. Elena was very knowledgeable, selecting authors and books that interested me. I sat by the fire while I looked through the books before I bought them. I would highly recommend Schulers of West Bloomfield.

Great selection! The bookstore staff are welcoming and were available and approachable. Prices are a little less than the competitors at Barnes& Noble. Overall a great experience! There's a wide variety of new books in nearly every genre and there are also used books available for purchase. Lots of gift ideas that are specific to Michigan and there's an abundance of unique stationary, office supplies, puzzles and games. Large assortment of unique cooking and baking gadgets/literature/textiles/gifts.

Friendly and informative staff. Excellent selection. Has the feel of a real old school bookstore with some nice modern additions like boardgames.

They have a wide selection of newly released books and also their used books sections. I personally gravitate towards the used books sections because the condition of the books are great, reasonably priced, and there’s a wide selection of choices. I’ve found more recent releases of books for half the price! They also have areas in the store with bookish related accessories and showcase a lot of local vendors and I’ve picked up a couple of things like funny socks as gifts for others which have been a huge hit with friends and family.

Wonderful bookstore! Cozy layout and a good selection of both books and games with a large local selection too. Highly recommend!

I am happy beyond belief that West Bloomfield once again has a large bookstore. Not only do they carry thousands of books but they have great games, gifts, puzzles and greeting cards. Hooray!!!

Excellent book selection along with a section of popular used books. Staff was friendly and helpful. We loved the recommendation/review notes located near many of the titles.

Great local bookstore. Helps reduce prices by offering a used selection. They also have cute gifts, board games, etc. Loved it here. Also, sold back some good condition books I was done with, which is a great addition.

Love this store. It had new and used books, puzzles, and all the "stuff" you'd find in a boutique. Or new fav book store

Very nice store, good collection of books, and reasonable prices. I'm glad they opened in our area. We definitely needed a good book store.

Walking between shelves of books is always a superior experience to Amazon. Diverse selection of books including "banned" books and a super friendly staff.

Take your standard "big bookstore", add in a healthy selection of used books (at used book prices), flavor with a smattering of kitsch, and top with a selection of MI/local books - and you've got Schuler Books. Worth checking out periodically for any book enthusiast.
