Sunrise Cafe

The food here is amazing. It can be a little hard to get a table, but it's worth the wait. The hard part is choosing what you want as everything on the menu sounds, looks (from your dining neighbors plate) and smells amazing! I would recommend everyone try this place, as you won't regret it!

I’ve lived in West Bloomfield for over 8 years and FINALLY had the opportunity to dine here. Husband and I went for breakfast and wanted to try somewhere new. We were greeted by the bustle of the open kitchen, friendly conversations between customers and staff alike, and immediately felt like we belonged here. Service was incredible from start to finish. The food was excellent and the portions were huge. We will definitely be back and recommending to everyone!

Stopped in here last minute with my niece while waiting for a friend. She's 4 and was apparently starving. Server was super nice. She chatted with my niece and had the cook rush a pancake for her, Mickey Mouse style. No photo because, well...she was starving. My omelet was great though.
Just know that it's a small, busy place.

lines for table...but we were into the adventure. Landed there...people watching sweet young family next to us...two boys reminded us of our children..grandchildren ..when they left..waitress told us our meals were paid for by that family...it proved my point to my friend earlier.." there are more nice caring people out there..in my observation and reality...she had opportunity to be beneficiary of It...we gave Waitress big tip..paying it forward .." lot of love in there"...I'll go back on my own..quick lunch salad menu looked good...

We tried this for the first time based off other reviews and were so happy with the visit. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The stuffed french toast and omelet were SO good.
Staff were above and beyond. Very thoughtful and apologized for the wait we had, even though it was unnecesary - we knew they would be busy and expected it. Easily accommodated us with a baby in tow. Would go back in a heartbeat.

I was on assignment to photograph some of their popular dishes for Doordash. The food was prepared well and I had the opportunity to taste the reuben, avocado toast and eggs and the banana nut waffle. So delicious and fresh!!
The husband wife team, Barb and Mike are a delight! They are passionate and so nice to work with. I look forward to visiting them often and eating at this wonderful establishment

It was busy on a Sunday, and we waited a bit 20 minutes to get a table. The popularity of Sunrise Café indicates the food is good. We weren't disappointed. It was worth the wait. Breakfast was delicious and well-prepared. A top-notch menu.

Small quaint location that's always busy. Haven't been here in years. The food is still delicious and filling. I love the variety of omeletts available.

Best morning menu I’ve ever experienced. GF available. Portions are generous. Very congenial staff. I can see why they do a great business. My husband’s comment: “I’d definitely come back here for breakfast” which speaks for itself. This has become my go-to breakfast place. I wish we lived closer. So you all will have to go for us.

You know I dont do re c iews from the point of view of a food connoisseur but from a practical perspective.
We visit Sunrise when we make the drive to the area. We make it a point to have breakfast here even if it's a bit of a trek.
The food is prepared in the diner like atmosphere and with care. I have never had a subpar meal here!
My wife loves this Avocado toast!

The staff is so very friendly, interesting, and always polite and welcoming.

Affordable fairly priced meals in an unassuming little spot in Farmington Hills.
Try it, you won't regret it.

Love coming here whenever we visit from Utah. Great selection of breakfast items. I got the stuffed french toast with gluten free bread, it was amazing! My husband tried the Lox Benedict and loved his as well. It's definitely something you can't find where we live!

Good food. It's small inside and fills up quick. Staff will write you down and you can wait for a table. Outside has lots of hornets in the summer.

Ordered the breakfast special with pancakes. It was very pricy, but the pancakes made it worth while. By far the best tasting pancakes in the area and reminded me of how much I use to love them as a child. A cute cozy restaurant with different seating options. Will be again to try more on the menu.

Fabulous! Loved it so much we went back for a second breakfast 😋 Im gluten free and they have GF bread!! The Greek Avocado toast was delicious!

I placed a large order (12 sandwiches), during lunch. They were delicious! The owner was exceedingly polite, accommodating, and helpful. Everything was on time and as ordered. Great experience!

I love breakfast and I love finding a good breakfast joint. Sunrise Cafe is just that place. Your coffee is always refilled, your order is always right and most importantly the staff is super friendly.

I LOVE this place. My boyfriend and I try to go every week. The food is great and it’s super filling for an amazing price. The staff know us and know the regulars and are so kind. We love chatting with them and seeing their smiling faces every week. It’s seems to be a family run place and gives it an extra fun vibe. The owner is all about EFFICIENCY. It can take you back for a second but you can see they try to seat people as quick as possible. It is a little of a tight space and stays busy, so keep that in mind when looking for a particular breakfast ambiance. Love this place, will continue to go regularly.

Another fantastic find. We came here for breakfast. Very good. Nice portions and well prepared. We will be back soon. Everyone here was very friendly and customer service was awesome.

A regular place for many, myself included. Staff are always amazing, food is always great. A place to eat for sure!
