DAV Thrift Store

I think I've been here before. I'd found a shirt this time around. Seems like the aisle are way too long to enjoy any kind of shopping.

Great prices. I stopped shopping Goodwill.

We always enjoy going to DAV great prices and awesome staff. Karen always makes sure she takes a minute to say hi and see how we are. Summer checked us out, she was so pleasant and efficient. Every time we are in Williamsburg we make sure we go to DAV.

This is the BEST thrift store ever. I have furnished almost my entire home from this store over the last year since moving to the area. Their clothes are great too. High quality stuff. Rarely any dirty/trashed items.

They have excellent sales like 20% furniture on certain days.

I have to say something that bothers me though... I feel like they don't trust their customers. There are a few examples of this but the one that rubs me the wrong way is if you are using a credit card, they will remove your card from the slot themselves and not let you pay until you present ID. Even for a 2 dollar transaction. If you don't want customers swiping their own cards, don't put the machine on our side of the counter. It's a bit over the top. Also it's time to open the dressing rooms back up.

I know thrift stores can be hit or miss based on what they have at the time, but my sister bought a new, almost complete wardrobe (about 8 nice dresses for work a couple jackets and a few shirts) and I found four really nice plus size shirts, which are hard to find in thrift stores, and with a 49 cent roll of high quality wrapping paper our total was only $80! The store is nice, clean, and fairly well organized and there were only a few things I felt like they were asking too much for, though the had a sign up that if you see something overpriced, wait a few weeks and if it doesn't sell, they'll lower the price. This is a definite one to return to next time I'm in the area!

We keep coming back for more! Their furniture, clothing, housewares, jewelry, books, luggage and decorative items have all made it into our trunk at one point or the other.

The staff are very pleasant, and everything is organized very clearly. And don't forget to keep an eye on the sales!

This is a great second hand shop! Nice staff and reasonably priced merchandise. Not a ton of furniture if that's what you're looking for but there's always some. There's also a lot of turnover on the goods so you're not looking at all the same stuff every time you go. Military discounts on the 15th of every month and general sales all the time! I love it!!!

This is our absolute favorite thrift store! We love the selection and I don't think I've ever been there where I didn't find some incredible bargain. Super selection of men's clothes, especially. My husband recently lost a lot of weight and we needed some dress shirts, dress pants and ties... without fail we were able to come renew his wardrobe for every 20 pounds he lost. Everything is sorted by SIZE which makes shopping so much easier.

All the clothes beautiful and well organized by SIZE, not color. New clothes with tags still on for $9.99 a real bargain.

I love it here. I find great books. Small selection of men's things but still definitely a place to check out. They are a bit pricey on home decor but do markdowns on items that don't sell.

Smaller than another in the area..however nicely laid out things were easy to find . Prices as always were good. Staff was genuinely friendly and helpful. Easy access parking lot help as well. Keep up the awesome job.

This store is great! The staff is professional, friendly and helpful. When I was checking out, someone actually called to see if DAV had a coffee grinder. Seriously!? I expected the staff to explain the definition of a thrift store to this caller but instead they acted as if this were a major department store with the ability to look it up in their computer systems inventory and tell you how many and how much in 2 seconds flat. The DAV staff actually went to check the shelves. Now that is customer service!!!

This location consistantly has wonderful finds at fantastic prices. I have visited many thrift stores in various states over the years and this location is in my top 3 all time favorites. I enjoy visiting the shop. They always take care to wrap breakable items, like the young man did for me today.

They are nicely organized and it is rare that a item is not price marked. Also, unlike some places they do a great job making sure everything is in good shape. The store may look old but it is clean. They also have carts which is really handy when you are buying fragile items or a lot of items as most people do.

The store carries everything from clothing and accessories for men, women and children as well as furniture, houseware, seasonal home decor, some sports equipment and electronics. Oh, and lots of books😁

My favorite find over the years at this store has been the priviledge of meeting some of our brave men and women as they work and shop there. Thank you!

This is quite honestly the BEST thrift store I've ever visited, and I've been to a lot of them. Amazing deals on a wide-variety of items can be found here on a daily basis. A lot of the stuff they have is even new and still in the original packaging. The staff are very personable, friendly, helpful, and just as eclectic as the items they have for sale here.

The DAV on Merrimack Trail in Williamsburg is a treasure trove! Great finds with reasonable prices. My husband & I enjoy browsing there several times a month. We love that we can help the military with our purchases.

Cheap prices, friendly and cleanly! Found some good funky clothes here. They have a 99¢ section which was great to see. & They're for a good cause.

My wife goes here every few weeks and finds some of the best work attire ever...suits and blazers with some having never been worn at a great price...would recommend
