I've demoed rackets and had my rackets strung here and they do an excellent job. The people who work here actually play tennis and know their stuff. Vince listened to what I was looking for and suggested 3 demos that fit my criteria and helped me find a new racket that helps me play better with less elbow discomfort. Highly recommended!

This tennis store was an excellent place to visit and shop at. they had a very large selection of racket equipment and clothing as well as other athletic equipment and needs. We were there for a little bit to browse the rackets. The staff were extremely helpful and kind and welcoming. Great place!

A one-stop shop for all your tennis needs. Excellent customer service. Sarah is so nice and helpful over phone. After I reached the store, the items I talked over the phone with Sarah is ready to checkout. So efficient. A gentleman(I believe is the owner) helped my boy found a perfect pair of junior tennis shoes with super good price :). Highly recommended!

We are long time Zalles customers for over eight years. The service and knowledge of all the friendly staff is always amazing. They consistently have great recommendations about tennis racquets, strings, clothing, and shoes and carry all the current tennis and pickleball gear. We have enjoyed meeting Surina, Sarah, Vince, and Regan who take time out to answer any product questions and are very passionate about tennis. Kudos to Zalles and all the staff members. Hands down the best one-stop racquet shop on the peninsula.

Of the four tennis shops in the peninsula they are by far my favorite. After a decade hiatus from tennis, I started off with reviving my college racquet which I was never happy with in terms of strings. Vincent recommended a string type and tension that dialed in my setup. He was always lending an ear with my challenges and helping me refine my configuration, whether its shrinking my grip, recommending subtle string tension adjustment depending on the season or working with me as a decided to test drive a plethora of strings that he would recommend. A year into realizing I am committing back to Tennis I decided to demo racquets and Vincent patiently worked with me for a year testing various racquets to help me choose a winner. Even when stock was low shortly during covid, I didn't want to buy my racquet elsewhere until they could get the racquet and grip size I wanted. They never pressured me to settle for a different racquet and never once when I was using my dated racquet from college did they try to upsell me on getting a new one.

Through Zalles I am beta testing a sensor that helped me collect great metrics that gave me insights on my strokes where Sara and Surina have been instrumental in that. They are my go to shop for anything and everything tennis, whether its racquets, strings, ball machine or trainers.

As I work towards by 4.0 rating, I decided to go for more precision and control racquets and again Zalles did not disappoint through their great demo program.

This is my favorite tennis store on the SF peninsula. They have a medium good racket selection that, like most shops, balances their inventory to the entry to medium advanced player. But, sometimes they surprise me and maintain some inventory of heavier player frames. Importantly, Zalles keeps a good wide selection of string in inventory and they turn around stringing service on time with well calibrated results. They even have a little indoor trainer set up so you can strike a ball in the store.

Everything about Zalles is great — the friendly people, the incredible selection, the thoughtful advice, the generous demo program, and the convenient indoor hitting area make it our favorite tennis shop.

I like the demo area to test tennis rackets before deciding which model to buy, It also nice that Sara is very helpful and accommodating.

Sarah and Vince always always provide world class customer service everytime I come in. The knowledge and kindness is unmatched and is why I’m a frequent visitor to the shop :)

Love this little store, and so close to home. Competitive prices, friendly staff, and good selection of equipments. Purchased 5 rackets through the years and about to pick up my 6th. Glad the business survived through Covid.

Visited first time recently to get a racket restrung and was a bit intimidated and unsure about what I wanted, but the saleslady was very knowledgeable and patient. Her recommendation was great as I didn't want to spend much as a beginner. I'll bring my other racket in soon!

Hidden tennis shop, ran by mom and pop has everything you need to get your game going. I personally use them for stringing services and they do a very good job. Price wise makes sense if you buy strings from them.

Was well worth the drive down from SF to be able to try on lots of different shoes and get a pair that is just right. So much more efficient than online shopping along with good advice from an owner who knows her stuff!
