Visited the Whole Foods in San Mateo and was thoroughly impressed with their juice selection. In particular, their stock of Uncle Matt's brand juice caught my eye. I went with the immunity blend - a rejuvenating mix of orange, elderberry, and zinc. It was not only delicious but also gave me a healthful boost. The store layout made for an easy and pleasant shopping experience, and the staff were both friendly and knowledgeable. This location definitely keeps up the Whole Foods reputation for quality and variety. I'll be back soon to explore more of their offerings! Highly recommend.

Whole Foods in San Mateo at Hillsdale is one of my favorite Peninsula stores. The store product is always fresh, well staged, and the prices very competitive. I appreciate the 1 stop shopping and this is exactly what Whole Foods offers. The hot foods section is well varied as well as the made on request option. The meat and fish section is a little pricey for my liking but everything is top quality. Upon entering the store, you have access to fruits, vegetables, and floral. Interesting strategy especially how the pricing changes as you delve deeper in the store. The store is amazing and just today, I registered for the Amazon prime palm reader payment system.

Clean, well stocked, has a lot of options for fresh food to go. The bakery section, always looks great. Big parking lot. I got the croissant toast to make breakfast, the very last bag. And a pound of apple wood smoked bacon by the fresh meat section. Our breakfast was wonderful. Closes at 10pm which is great.

Update- got the kebabs from the meat department. Chicken and beef Kentucky bourbon sticks, broil high 5 minutes on each side. Use a thermometer to make sure chicken is at 165 and pair with a salad and enjoy!

We had a good experience visiting the Whole Foods location in San Mateo. The store is super clean and well organized, which makes it easier to find items that you want and fast. The staff is very friendly. They have a wide variety of products in each category, including meat, fish, freshly made salads, sandwiches, pizza as well as bakery items. We love their Berry Chantilly cake! Highly recommend this place if you are looking for fresh organic produce and meat. While it can get a bit pricey, the quality is excellent.

Very fresh food. Aisles are well stocked and organized. Bakery has great pastries. If you're looking for some groceries, I highly recommend coming here.

Very nice wholefoods here in San Mateo Hillsdale. Super clean and organized and friendly staff. One of the best wholefoods in Mid Penninsula area. Highly recommend this grocery store to all fellow San Francisco Bay Area residents and visitors.

Great Whole Foods experience as always! There is a Tesla Supercharger in the parking lot which makes shopping even easier.

Went in the bakery department for Valentine's Day goodies. Line went fast despite all the men purchasing flowers for their Valentine.

We shop here regularly. They offer a wide range of fresh organic food. The store is pretty easy to navigate.

My favorite Whole Foods location in the Bay Area! Very friendly staff, lots of selection, great food bar, and one of the larger stores I've been to with underground parking and an elevator. They always have what I'm looking for and everything is fresh and available. Highly recommended!

Whole Foods — my to go place for frozen organic deshelled edamame.

Bike racks on the side of Wholefoods. Super helpful. Just trying to lesson my carbon footprint as much as possible.

Its a clean whole foods in a safe area. Only thing to complain about is the parking lot gets a bit busy but you can always park downstairs and take the elevator into the store. This location has a decent selection and if you're a prime member you can usually score some good deals. I like that it's right off the freeway so it's easy to get to.

They have a good selection of coffee beans to choose from. If you shop at Safeway, you will find that the price of produce is about the same at Whole Foods. I see a few reviews complaining about parking, and I wanted to share that there is a giant basement parking lot. Discovering that was a game changer.

The bakery seems to have a different selection of cakes compared to the one in Redwood City. For buying cakes, Redwood City Whole Foods would be a better choice.

Stating the obvious: everything here is overpriced and most of it can be found at other stores for a fraction of the price.

So why five stars? The meat. Every single time the meat is good quality. The only exception is short ribs (it's all fat, not worth any price). Otherwise this is the best place in the city to get meat.

5 stars for customer services. There are some hot items always short on shells. I had to call in every time before I come in. As always they promptly check on it and get back with u right away. I wanted to point out this lady name Katy works at dairy. She checks and store the items I needed behind the service counter. I had a pleasant day. Thank you.
