Marina Food Market

If you can't find certain Asian cooking ingredients in the regular big chain groceries near you then come here. I was looking for gyōza sauce and could not find it anywhere until I went here. They offer Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, Mexican, Italian, Filipino, Thai, Indonesian, Indian, and more cuisine selections.

Glad to see they carry Uji Time ice cream back here in this location. With the new packaging, it is even more appealing to try their Asian inspired flavors

My gramps lived in HK for years. He used to bring me here to get his comfort foods when he finally came back to the states. He was pretty fluent in Cantonese, so-so in Mandarin and the clerks here got a kick hearing this tall white dude start up convos with them. I still shop here and get all the stuff he taught me about and try new stuff too. Coming here is like connecting with him again.

I used to buy uji time ice cream from WeChat group orders, never know now they are available here at Marina!!!

This place is Amazing with all the Good things they have to offer to their customers, to me personally 🥰the aquarium area 🤩🤩🤩🤩

This market has very complete category - not only Chinese food, but also Korean Philippines Malaysian food, as long as it’s Asian food, you name it . I can always find ingredients for my Asian cuisines here.

Great selection, not too busy either in the store or the parking lot. Tuesdays at 6:45 is the time to go

Great place to find Asian staples. Less variety of vegetables than I expected. Frozen goat is superb. And, expectedly, smells like an open fish market.

Prices are usually good, better than some of the big names. Good selection of usual grocery items. Being an Asian market, this place also have good Asian grocery, fruits, liquors, drinks.

Their meat selections are probably not the best. Some of the food items may not be the most fresh. As a buyer, you just need to know what's best to buy at this Market and where to go for the rest. Their good prices compensates for the inconvenience.

They also have reward program, collecting points will allow you to "buy" food/bbq from hot food stand. The roasted duck/pork or chicken there pretty good.

Well if you want Asian food this is the place to come, they've got quite a bit of everything, Japanese, Chinese and Philippino to start. I also saw some Thai and Korean I think. It's definitely worth the time if you're looking for something for dinner. Enjoy, I know I did.

I'm giving a 5 stars because this place opens longer hours compared to other Asian stores and it carries stinky aka petai aka sator beans

I love Marina Market in San Mateo. Been coming here since the 1980's when I was a kid. Now I live one mile from here and come often. They have all the freshest produce, great cuts of meat and chicken. Large variety of fresh seafood and every other grocery essential that you need.
It's an Asian style market so if you cook that type of cuisine then you're coming to the right place.
Friendly service and fair prices..

This is a good Asian market. It's very large and they carry many styles of noodles, fish, alcohol, fruit, meat. The candy aisle has some good candy's that you can't fine anywhere else. Everyday they have samples out and you can even purchase cooking ware. If you are really hungry they have hit food for sale and the chines food is bomb.

Quick stop shop you can find anything and everything from a deli to grocery to your seafood section. The employees are great quick and friendly and the products are anything but fresh. I love going to marina food market.

My favourite shopping place, it has all the food I want! They give you credits when you make a purchase and you can use the credits at the deli sections. Spring rolls and BBQ pork are great at the deli section.

My go-to place for fresh fish, although it can get so crowded and slow due to backups in the lines (and they don't always use numbering system, so it's just based on who's loudest). Good grocery selection, and deli for takout when yo'ure hungry!

Love the market. Huge variety of Asian foods & products. Unfortunately the deli stop making & selling many of the labor intensive food items which was disappointing. The deli was short staffed and many customers had waited over 20 minutes to be served.

The best Asian market to buy a little or a lot. Fresh Asian food. They fry fish, and custom cut meat. Lots of fresh veggies. Staff are friendly and make you feel welcome and appreciated.

Huge selection of Asian foods and ingredients. Live fish, frogs, crabs, etc. Also has woks, and a small area with cookware. They do have a little cafe to eat with a few tables.
