My husband and I stopped at the Road Runner sport Downers Groove to look for my perfect fit running shoes. I’m glad we did. My experience was great. Big thanks to Josylin for assisting me find my perfect running shoes. Now, I enjoy running with my Brooks ghost 15.

I went to the Downers Grove location and was assessed by Benjamin and he was phenomenal! He was polite, funny, very knowledgeable and listened to what I wanted/needed to help me make the best choice for me. Definitely visit and ask for Benjamin!

I cannot rave enough about my positive experience here. I’m new to running and I’m trying to buy my first pair of running shoes and Benjamin was so nice and helpful! He was super patient with me and answered all my questions. A big plus was that he was super knowledgeable which made a huge impact on my experience!

Benjamin helped my husband get a new pair of running shoes. He was so friendly, patient, and helpful - he made the process fun and easy! He also made sure we got the best deal possible. Really appreciated it and highly recommend seeing him if you need a new pair of sneakers!

So, I went in today for a X-mas gift for my sister. To be honest, the customer service here was amazing! Benjamin helped me find some good gifts in the last minute. Overall the employees here are very helpful! I work in the service industry and words cannot explain the good service here!

I'm glad I made the trip out to Downers Grove tonight for what was supposed to just be a simple return. I planned on only returning a pair of running shorts i purchased before, and ended up leaving with TWO new ones instead thanks to Aaron and Hannah. They made my experience very enjoyable with informing me of the good deals going on and kept me entertained with great conversation as well.
They even informed me of current Asics shoes and which ones were best for certain conditions. When im ready for my next purchase of shoes, I hope I get helped by this duo again.

I give 5 Stars to, Benjamin, who dropped what he was doing to help me as soon as I walked into the store. He was very approachable, knowledgeable and super patient with me. Shannon stepped up and was super helpful when I needed help a second time. I love my shoes. I love the color and I feel like I’m walking on soft clouds. Thank you !!!!!!

Drove a bit out of way to this location and was not disappointed. After previously having below par experience at competitive chain store, I decided to give road runners a try. Aaron was awesome greeted me as soon as I walked in store and made me feel welcomed! He walked me through fit finder and explained findings in detail, you can tell he was very knowledgeable. Meanwhile Ben assisted my wife (which I applaud for his patience with her lol) also just as knowledgeable! Happy with experience and quantity of shoes that were brought out to try out. Best believe wife and I were happy customers and bought the whole package (Shoes, socks, insoles and vip membership!). I have since ran with “package” and feel amazing, knee pain has gone away and I am able to do box jumps now! I’ve recommended you guys to the local run club and will be back for more shoes in future. Thanks Aaron and Ben!!

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and genuine enthusiasm to assist. Aaron went above and beyond to make my visit memorable. He was knowledgeable, attentive, and patient in answering all my questions.

I gave Aaron my budget and he gave all his options and didn’t push. He was respectful and wanted to make sure we walked out with the perfect shoe.

I was not expecting this level of customer service but Aaron made my visit so inviting that we will always be going to this store.

These folks are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Benjamin (Downers Grove store) guided to me to which shoes and inserts would be best to support my arthritis and inflammation. The store was busy and he was helping multiple people at a time, but he did it with patience and ease. Also love their VIP program. This is the only place I buy running shoes.

Big shoutout to Aaron for helping me find the right pair of new running shoes! He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He answered all of my questions and definitely made the experience enjoyable. I highly recommend shopping at Road Runner Sports in Downers Grove for your next pair of running shoes.

Benjamin is the man!! He welcomed and jumped into action. Took on the challenge of assisting my friend who is getting ready for his first race. Once the tests were completed, Ben provided several options and we found the pair. The experience made the long commute worth it. Big thanks to Benjamin!!

This store offers a wide selection of running gear from shoes to apparel to training equipment for runners of all levels! Benjamin is a standout if you need knowledgeable assistance selecting the right shoes, however, the entire staff seemed friendly and professional! Prices are comparable to other running stores, but the service makes the difference! Shop here first.

Love this store. Aaron was extremely knowledgeable about walking shoes and listened to all the requirements that I needed in the shoe. He selected 3 options and educated me on the differences of each shoe. He was SO patient and helpful with finding a proper shoe and he also had a great sock recommendation when I mentioned that I needed some.
I left, very happy, with my Brooks Glycerin GTS 20 and Drymax socks.

Had a wonderful experience at the downers grove location! I had recognized benjamin from working with him at the naperville location. As always benjamin was very courteous, knowledgable and efficient. He helped me get exactly what i wanted!thank you for always having the best customer service. Will be back forsure!

Benjamin was awesome! He helped me find the correct shoe, was thorough in his explanation, careful with his recommendations and had a great spirit about him. He wasn't rushing me or pushing something on me. I will definitely be going back to him!

I stopped in to buy a new pair of running shoes as one pair I owned was getting worn out. Aaron helped me pick out pairs to try on that would coordinate well with my other pair currently in use. I was not rushed and Aaron gave me suggestions but listened to my wants/needs/concerns as well! He was super patient and knowledgeable and a great resource to help! I visited 11/7/23 looking for new running shoes, Hannah took me through the whole process and helped me choose the perfect shoes for me.

I would recommend this store to anyone who is just getting in to running seriously, Hannah especially demonstrated intimate knowledge of the products and her knowledge of the structure of the foot was very helpful in the decision process.
