Seward Community Co-op - Friendship Store

Seabird community co-op is rich with a wide variety of choices. It is clean and well kept, in the staff are always very friendly. It’s always a joy to grocery shop here with my daughter.

The cashier workers are friendly! It's always a pleasure going to co-op. It would be nice if they had more bakery section, but understandable as it is a smaller co-op.

Great produce, always fresh and beautiful. I also love their selection of CBD Seltzers. Super friendly and helpful staff.

First time here. I was pretty happy that they had my Dark Chocolate Almond milk. Nice clean store with friendly staff.

Staff members are very welcoming and friendly there. Pricing can be higher than other chain stores, but this is a local scale, community owned business, keeping the profit and resources to the local community. Very bright and clean inside and they have many uniquely assorted products from the local region you can’t find in other globally sourced, privately owned grocery stores. I appreciate many bike racks and a cup of great coffee! Recommended.

Not only top-quality groceries but some of the best hand-painted signs around the Twin Cities. I hope they stay up forever. 😢

It’s pricey but very convenient and seems to mainly have high quality brands and produce available!

Always helpful and bright. The employees generally mask up, which I love. I came out with three exotic cheeses and finally a tasty version of consumable aloe beverage.

This place is great if you have an allergy and need to know that the company isn't lying about having it in their food for more media attention or to seem trendy. Most of the things here are local sourced or come from small businesses. Great if you want anything organic/non-gmo. Staff are friendly and any products bought here are great quality and last a while. My only complaint is that it can be fairly expensive, but it makes it worth it to know you're supporting a local business. Great for people with food allergies.

The folks who work here all do a great job. Big thanks to the smoothie team for always crushing it! The selection is great, so glad this store exists, but I hope the team is treated as sustainably as the organic produce. Cashiers should absolutely be allowed to sit. Management need to provide support to their hard-working staff.TCCP do quite a bit of virtue signaling so let’s see them show up for their diverse and awesome staff by setting employees up for a successful shift.

Great selection of produce and speciality items that you may not find in your standard grocery store. The customer service was excellent as three times I stopped to ask for help and they knew exactly what I was looking for and where. I will be back again when visiting my friend who lives near.

Great shopping with beautiful produce, an awesome selection of meat alternatives, and amazing friendly down to earth employees who some are Wu-Tang fans! This place is welcoming which I look for in spending not just my money but my time as well. I really recommend this place to anyone wanting to shop at a co-op but hasn't pulled the trigger yet.

I’ve been a member for two years and feel very much at home here. I love their hot bar and premade items. Bulk selection and produce are excellent, especially for people who genuinely love to cook. My sister visited from New York. She’s a very picky vegan who loves to cook a variety of foods. She was very impressed with the spice and produce selection, quality, and price. Sure the prices of some items (like frozens) are more expensive, but I just chose to buy those items elsewhere or wait until they go on sale. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. This is a genuinely great store.
Additionally this was one of the few stores I felt comfortable shopping in during the pandemic. They took that stuff seriously and it was a relief.

Better food, friendly service. Yummy strawberries. We had breakfast this morning from the deli. It was a very nice breakfast, although they could have had some flowers in the break/ eating room. I can get the organic lactose free milk I like there. The price of the milk went up, but I think it is still a good value food.

Amazing selection of quality, local goods. Fresh food, grocery staples, all the basics. Try the baked goods - cookies & cookie bars were so good I stopped on my way to the airport.

LOVE this place. Their meat bundles are awesome, and I love being able to buy some of my favorite things in bulk (and receive a member discount from doing so). Great healthy/organic options, and great to see the assortment of local products. Some items can be a tad overpriced, but I'm grateful for being able to make this my one-stop grocery store (so sometimes I pay the premium for convenience).
