We were there for a tattoo convention, obviously, as seen by the pictures. So we didn't actually stay in a room. We did eat at the restaurant however. Fish and chips was out of this world. The service was excellent, but the Cole slaw left something to be desired. Other than that it was a fabulous event.

Was here for a Football Clinic. Rooms were very nice and clean and staff was very friendly. Plenty of places to eat and buy groceries at within walking distance. Downtown area is very nice, open and clean

I helped organize a 400-person conference held at the Hyatt Regency. This hotel was a fantastic place to host a conference. The meeting room spaces and adjacent foyers and hallways were large and provided ample gathering space. The staff provided wonderful service during our events and throughout the week, very kind and hardworking folks who made our week great. The catering was also outstanding and got excellent reviews from our attendees.

The hotel rooms were large and well equipped. Beds were comfortable, important for a week-long stay! The gym area was also noted as a great facility by several of our attendees.

We are here yearly for the Villain Arts tattoo convention.
They never fail to be very accommodating.
The rooms are clean and comfortable our only complaint would be the sheets are a bit uncomfortable but considering there's a bunch of people with fresh tattoos that will stain them I'm sure they are using cheap disposable sheets.
We recommend staying here while in Minneapolis.

Clean rooms. Very quiet. Beds were comfortable. I was here for a conference. The meeting rooms were fine. The food was better as expected. The servers were quick to clear the tables. The location was close to everything downtown. Target in walking distance for any needed essentials.

Our team came out for the tattoo convention this past weekend and has a minor issue. The issue was immediately addressed by Lena at the front desk and Nick the manager. Stellar team, stellar service, a big THANK YOU to Lena, Nick, and the Hyatt Regency staff! XOXO

I usually come here a few times a year. And I've never had a bad experience. The only small issue I had with the last visit was when someone cleaned our room early, despite us having late checkout. But we still had a wonderful time!

I purposely stay at Hyatt properties so yes, this a bit of a biased opinion. For one, I’ve not stayed at any other hotel in the area. But two, I’m rating this Hyatt against any other Hyatt property I’ve stayed at.
To start, this is the friendliest Hyatt I’ve ever stayed at. I’ve been here twice in as many years and ever time the staff is just wonderful.
Let’s talk food. The Prairie restaurant is better than any other Hyatt restaurant I’ve ate at. Their breakfast is really good and they have a solid selection of dishes for dinner.
Rooms are nice, super quiet. People don’t seem to let the doors slam and everything works. The hallways are kind of dark but I can get past that.
Parking. I self park at the garage next door. I’d ding them on it being a 6 foot 6 inch ramp, but literally every parking ramp in downtown Minneapolis is short. So word to wise if you have a tall vehicle like a 3/4 ton truck. So be sure to check the area. But if you have a big vehicle you are used shopping around for a place to park.

Great hotel in a great location. Walking distance to alot of the area sights and restaurants. Comfortable beds, clean rooms, great shower and water pressure. Restaurant and bar on sight. Nice lounge area with big fireplace. Starbucks also in the lobby. Great welcoming service. Use the app for added features, keyless entry etc. Parking on sight for a fee.

I have never been so impressed by a hotel front desk agent as I was by Charrielle upon arriving at the hotel (and I used to be a front desk agent for over 10 years!). My flight from Grand Rapids to Minneapolis was delayed. I spilled coffee on myself on the plane. I was covered from head to toe. Upon arriving at MSP, I tried to get an Uber, only to discover that my debit card wouldn’t work. After spending an hour on the phone with my bank, I learned it wouldn’t be working until midnight. I borrowed my boyfriend’s debit card to get an Uber to the hotel (only had just enough money to cover the fare). My room was prepaid for by our corporate travel agent, so I didn’t think there would be any issue getting checked in. Boy, was I wrong! I was informed that I needed a card for incidentals, which I didn’t have because of my debit card fiasco. It was at this point that I couldn’t hold the tears back any longer. Not only was I covered in coffee, sweaty, hungry, money-less, and looking at sleeping on the curb until midnight, I had only one feminine hygiene product left in my bag… at that thought… the tears started flowing. It was at that moment that Charrielle reminded me of the blessings that I have in my life. I made it to the hotel, and she was going to do everything she could to help me. I am so thankful that she helped me get into my room. She got me a goody bag of hygiene products and went so far as to get me a voucher for the hotel restaurant for dinner. Charrielle made sure to see to all of my needs and for that, I am eternally grateful! I have never felt so helpless, and she did everything she could to make sure I was taken care of, from a place to sleep, food to eat, and hygiene products to get me through until morning. Before sending me up to my room, Charrielle gave me a huge hug and told me that it was going to get better. Her kindness and care were truly amazing. I am so grateful for her. Thank you, Hyatt, for putting the right person in the right position at the right time. This girl is amazing!

Surprised at how big their gym was! Bigger than most gyms I've frequented. Basketball courts, boxing area, Olympic barbells and great equipment. Plenty of rooms to accommodate for the 1000+ members that attended our conference.

This is a consistent and reliable mainstay in Minneapolis. The hotel is older but constantly being refreshed with new furniture/fixtures/etc. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Views (especially from the upper floors) are great.

The housekeeping was awesome and our room was very neat and organized every night. Also the pool was very warm and it felt like a bathtub. Next to the pool was a fitness center which was clean, spacious and it held a lot of workout opportunities. The lobby was also very big and beautiful. It was cozy too. The only downside was the long, cold walk to our room from the elevators. And, as a plus, because the hotel overbooked for our room type we got upgraded to an executive suite.

Best Hyatt Team in the whole wide world of Hyatt. Stayed there once during a convention, it was amazing. The staff are friendly, and the food is good. The room was clean and we had a problem with the shower and they had an engineer up to fix it in less than a half hour.

Fantastic gym, rivals some of the fitness clubs. Very nice location as well, lots of food and drink options within walking distance. Clean and quiet rooms

A half hour wait in line for a breakfast buffet in a dining room that was less than half full is something that was not necessary. Otherwise a very nice hotel.
