The renovation completed in late March 2021 made it feel I was in a different part of the state. People will love and enjoy returning as well. I appreciate all the people who played a role in remodeling it and making it a great amenity to a community that property values has shot up.

The staff is working hard to ensure they get merchandise out as fast as they can. They are friendly and have some great deals!

I had passport pictures taken at this location. It wasn't a great experience but I didn't care too much since only a few people will ever see my passport.
Today I went to the passport office where my photo was rejected for a minor error which meant I needed to pay them to retake it.
I stopped by Walgreens to ask for a refund and speak to the manager about my experience. I spoke with Duggins who was very knowledgeable, kind and apologetic. He asked me details so he could coach his staff to ensure it doesn't happen again. He gave me a full refund and put some extra points on my account to compensate for the frustration and extra trip.
I really appreciated how well my issue was handled and will plan to return to this store in the future.

I like the fact that there is a Walgreens close to home. Other reviewers are likely not pleasant people themselves. I find that if I go there with a good attitude and a decent mood, I am respected in-kind. Also, its a store on South Chicago Avenue. Its not a 4 star restaurant. If you're looking for red carpets and staff that wipe your butts, you're in the wrong neighborhood. The people who work here are likely just as overworked and underpaid as the rest of us. Perhaps the Hamptons would suit the other reviewers better...

I just want to say I appreciate the employee behind the counter on weeknights at the pharmacy. He is always friendly and helpful to all customers and is working hard despite lines.

jeez, people, it's a pharmacy. Of course there will be long waits. Nothing to spazz over. My experience there has been good. The pharm tech I've spoken with has been exceptionally nice and helpful.

Waited about 3 minutes on hold to call in an Rx for a patient. Pharmacist was very helpful and cheerful. My feline patient will be pleased!!!

My favorite walgreens.Elizabeth is very friendly and helpful in photos.Yes, they have some mice. So do I.The price one pays not having a cat.
