Books Inc.

Books Inc. is easily one of my favorite bookstores in the South Bay. I have a passion for collecting various cookbooks, and surprisingly, Books Inc. consistently offers a wide array of well-priced cookbooks, often beating online sellers.

Their diverse genres and a spacious children's book area, complemented by toys, make it a fantastic spot in a vibrant neighborhood with plenty of restaurants and shops. Service is always consistent, fast, and helpful.

I frequently bring my nieces and nephews to indulge in their love for reading and enjoy lunch, macaroons, and ice cream nearby. While parking can be busy on weekends, the overall experience is well worth the visit.

Independent bookstores are always great places for author appearances. Books, Inc.'s hosting of Gregg Hurwitz was no exception. Great venue, great turnout. Thank you.

Had my book release at books Inc and it was incredible. The best independent bookstore in the Bay area. If you stop in the pruneyard location make sure to pick up a copy of Youth Group ;)

Good bookstore. Plenty of books for kids. Found quite nice puzzles for kids. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Really nice atmosphere.

Great selection of books, from biographies to fiction to graphic novels. They also have a large kids section in the back.

Huge selection of books, magazines and other gift items. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. The store is clean and well organized.

Books and more. The type of bookstore I grew up knowing. I wholeheartedly support this bookstore. Bring your kids and/or your neighbors' kids.

This is a lovely little book store. They have a wide range of reading material for all ages. I was pleasantly surprised seeing English translation of other countries' novels. I didn't see a lot of stationary items but that's not a negative. The staff were friendly but left you alone to browse.

Super helpful, friendly and consistent staff. They are inviting while not intrusive to your shopping experience. Excellent selection of children's books from picture books to early and middle readers.

I love this store, not only for their great picks, but because there's always a little something new. The location is great, when waiting for a seat at any of the restaurants it's a great place to pick up a little treat for later. They also have some more obscure readings than you'll find elsewhere

Small but good selection. They had more kids graphic novels than Barnes and Noble which is 3 or 4x the size. People are friendly and I love the staff recommendations. Support your local bookstore!

This is the kind of bookstore that predates that big bookstore whose name also starts with a B.
The customer service is excellent. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. I found books for everyone on my list and didn't break the bank to do it.
The store has a great selection of books, calendars and gifts and The Pruneyard is a nice shopping center. You can grab lunch at one of six neighboring restaurants after you're finished shopping too.

What a beautiful book store. Spacious with an awesome selection of books for all tastes and age groups. There were area's where you could sit down & relax while checking out your selection. A great range of gift ideas especially educational games/toys. Staff were extra friendly and helpful, they knew their stock well. I was particularly impressed with the excellent range of books for young teens, male & female & chikdren/infants. Also a 'rainbow' selection of titles to support our gay communities. I highly recommend this lovely shop. Fantastic!

This is a great, family-feel book shop. Not huge and not infinite, but well appointed, clean, super friendly and chock full of good reads to discover. I always love spending time browsing and inevitably find gems to take home.

The gray beard man was awesome helping me to find the books I wanted.
He check us out and was so sweet with my baby.
Everyone was friendly from the time we walk in until we left besides a Black lady who didn't even bother to look at me when I ask for help being steps away from me.

The place is well maintained and they have a sale going on I got 2 bed time stories books very good size for 15 dollars

Nice Bookstore! Every genre has a place and there's a chair in the corner. The staff reads and reviews each book, so if you need a recommendation, just ask! 💖💝 they've got seven year pens! 🤩
