Excellent store. Northern California locations doesn't have the freshness in fruits as this location at Eagle Rock,near LA. Loved it. Specially for de baby guavas.

My wife and I have shopping at the 99 Cent only store for many years we have coming and shopping around buying items for the house,detergent,grocery,and so many item you can here. Through the years the 99 Cents only store have grown big and open many stores in California and and other states. This is our first time shopping at this 99 Cent Only Store in Highland Park, when we are in a different city we like to at the 99 Cent store and compare to the other store we been to.

Large store where everything is kept in order as best as humanly possible. Clean peaceful store.

This place is like a mini Walmart in Highland Park. Love it!

I didn’t know that 99cent stores has everything. This one is a must go place. The items are good too. Variety of selections at reasonable price.

One of the BEST 99 Cents Only stores in the City of L.A.!! Well-curated assortments of all the great stuff available. I find things here that I've never found in any other locations. Really packed with a depth of items + always have all the usual stuff in stock. Produce is top notch, big frozen section, fruit + veggies run deep... It just goes on + on here. Plus they open really early + close really late. Tons of parking. Worth the trip! I love this location.

I love the fresh vegetable selection here. It's really big. The store is clean and very organized.

I really enjoy shopping here with my mom and my puppy because for one thing, you never have any trouble finding parking, the staff is very attentive and helpful and because you can always find a very large assortment of items at very reasonable prices and of a somewhat decent quality. The only down side is that as a general rule, you cannot find anymore bottled water or sodas right after a holiday has taken place because the public has bought them all for their special occasions. But other than that I really like buying my things such as vaseline, paper plates, trash bags and sandwich bags from here to name just a few items of importance. I sincerely hope that this chain of stores remains in business for many years to come so that we can keep making some of our purchases here along with all the future generations to come. Fat chance of that.

This store is so big and is always kept up so well. It is always fully stocked. The produce department is always being stocked with great produce and cold refrigeration items. The workers in this department are such hard workers!!! Plus they will stop what they are doing and show you what you're looking for if you can't find it. They are the best!!!

The store is now well organized.and clean.but of course the prices are getting up there! Had not come in over 2 years.

Quick run in and out for some gain dryer sheets. Customer service representatives are always kind and greet you upon entrance to the store. Store was clean and the shelves were well stock. Quick check out. Which is always great. Cool for a 99 cent store.

Recently upgraded interior to what i suppose it the present-day style for the chain.
Nicely done.
Upbeat, present-day 'feel'.

The prices remain pleasantly affordable - even tho the total revamp/refresh may 'feel' like a cha-ching! upgrade - it is not.

They did A LOT with thoughtful paint scheme, and reset the merchandise with a fun, fresh look.

I'd say the employees even appreciate the refresh / reset.
It looks good, and feels like the paint schemes are more upbeat (if that even makes any sense.)

Nicely done - and good prices remain.

I found a variety of fruits. And unsweetened tea. The prices were reasonable. I was happy.

We have an image of 99 cent stores as having cheap quality items, but this one certainly doesn't. I got my pretty kitchen glasses here and a number of children's gifts. They also sell amazing cards for occasions. And if you look carefully, you can get some great quality fruit there as well!

Its always good at the 99 cent store. Bring a quarter to get a cart. Then an employee disinfects the cart and gives you hand sanitizer. Everyone is always friendly! At the end you can get your quarter back or leave it so someone else can use a cart without paying, or the people that need money more than you can get a quarter.

Cashiers very polite and the staff very polite as well excellent prices I highly recommended it to everyone
