It wasn’t clear whether the general public can enter the concert hall and there was a group of teens with signage on the steps out front when we went, so we avoided the inside entirely and checked out the garden at the back instead. The garden is up a flight of stairs / or on to an accessible ramp for those who have troubles with mobility. It was very peaceful up there was a variety of plants and trees. It offers a good view of the city and the hills. There are also a few tables with chairs that you can use for dining or conversations. A built-in amphitheater is also available to check out. Overall, it is really serene up in the gardens and is a good place to walk around for 15-30 minutes looking at the plants and the city landscape.

Amazing building with interesting architecture, a great terrace garden, and a nice program of shows throughout the year.
Plenty of facilities and signage inside, clearly designed to work with the amount of people it holds for a show, and plenty of staff that are friendly, helpful, and professional.

Excellent venue for this New Year’s Solute to Vienna concert. The performance was excellent with orchestra, professional soprano and tenor, and dancers from San Diego Ballet.

The entire venue was decorated with New Year’s joyful spirit. We got a taste of different musical genres from Vienna at its musical dominance.

Every seat gets an excellent view and sound. We really enjoyed it.

Tip: there are plenty of parking but remember the exact level and section.

World-class venue for classical music. One of the most thrilling experiences around to see the Los Angeles Philharmonic perform here. Any seat in the house is a great one, and the rear seats are not to be underestimated - a thrilling experience to experience the musicians’ view of the conductor. Definitely worth visiting just for the sheer dazzle of architect Frank Gehry’s masterpiece. Beautiful outdoor garden accessible during daytime hours too for a quick stroll or lunch break.

This place is a perfect traveler destination for the experience if you want to shake up your senses.

Visually beautiful building designed by Frank Garry. The patio outdoor spaces are great with lots of shade.

The interior is amazing. The accustics are really good, even at the very back balcony. The view to the orchestra and performance is great.

I came to see a musical with my kids. It was an amazing experience. They loved it and have lots of fun. It's something I had always wanted to do. Not many people visit this place as an attraction but let me tell you that you are missing out.

Most of the performances are from non commercial artists and that is probably why there is not of interest in attending. Hopefully with more reviews people can start attending and appreciate the building and experience it brings to LA travelers.

Review for a self guided walk-in tour of the building and grounds.

The building and grounds are stunning. It's worth to walk around and explore. To the left of the building (outside) there are stairs that leads to the gardens with views of downtown. It's a great place to experience the dimensions of the metal structures. A glimpse of Frank Gehry's designer's mind! Great place to watch the sunset and to take incrediable photos.

I was able to walk around the lobby and see this architectural beauty from the inside. I'm not sure if it is open to the public but you should definitely try if you are there already!

Frank Gehry's masterpiece. Extraordinary outside and inside. Fabulous architecture but wonderful acoustics and sumptuous materials used. The LA Phil is a world class orchestra. My second visit here and both performances have been outstanding. Just buy a ticket, get there early to explore and enjoy

Absolutely stunning performance hall. Designed by world renowned architect Frank Gehry for his whimsical yet abstract play with materials and shapes. This design has your eyes looking everywhere.
LA philharmonic was playing. Delightful sound. Ample seating with not a bad seat in the house.
Gift shop is open after shows.
Plenty of parking. Very friendly staff.

Outstanding. What's not to like. Disney has done a great job of trying to merge popular culture and classical music. Appreciated a mural exhibit last night when I went to see the symphony for the first time in a long time. One of my all-time favorite concerts was Andrew Bird playing with the LA Phil. Drinks are definitely overpriced, like slightly ridiculously so, but women's bathrooms are a plenty. Acoustics are excellent. And here's hoping they keep seats affordable so all can attend events here!

What an amazing experience!
Visited with my wife for an orchestra performance in the day. The staff were all beyond friendly and helpful. The garden surrounding the building is absolutely exquisite! We definitely will be returning on our next trip to Los Angeles.

Directly across the road from The Broad Museum. The Walt Disney Concert Hall is an absolutely stunning work of architecture from Frank Gehry, who also designed (among others) The Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain. The sweeping metal exterior panels of the building are intended to portray the architects love of sailing.
The Concert Hall's stunning visuals (both interior and exterior)are matched by its amazing acoustics which can be experienced by its resident orchestra, The LA Philharmonic, among other performances by various artists throughout the year.
Guided or self guided tours are available free of charge, daily from 10am to 3pm.

Saw Ellie Goulding perform with the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra here (most recently). It was an incredible experience. The acoustic engineering of the Walt Disney Concert Hall is unsurpassed. It's like the musicians are wired directly into your brain. The design of the layout also means all the seats have great views that feel close to the stage. Even the sections behind the stage get an incredible view from the perspective of the orchestra. The interior hallways are sweeping and in perfect condition. I have a particular penchant for the gift shop, which I think always has some uniquely designed items. I always say:

"There are no bad seats at the Walt Disney Concert Hall. The cheapest ticket will still be an incredible experience".

Great place to explore, easy, cheap parking. Salute to Vienna was an amazing show. Would class entertainment, beautiful music/singers/ballet. The conductor led the fun and the educational snippets. An amazing architectural marvel. Great drinks at the bar too! Bravo!

Everyone from the ushers to the musicians were amazing. Thank you. View from Orchestra West, Row G, Seat 70. The one picture is zoomed out to get everything in frame but all is closer than it seems.

The Walt Disney Concert Hall is a beautiful, magical spot, inside out! A definite must experience place in Los Ángeles. The ticket booth is on 1st and Grand as well as some iconic steps. When you walk in there are lots of staff members available to direct you to your seats/ floor. There is a cafeteria and bar on the main floor. Prices are at a premium yet all the choices look excellent- subs, salads, candy, cookies, chips, bar drinks. The concert hall is absolutely magical. Incredible, clean sound from the bohemian strings performance we listened to. The gift shop is filled with unique and cool items! Large, clean restrooms available. Parking is $10 in the underneath structure.
