Blick Art Materials

This was a great experience for me to visit for paint and paint brushes for leather work. Kelsey assisted us and provided excellent ideas as well as information about products. They have a large assortment of brushes, as well as paints for different mediums. There are ideas everywhere from the novice to the experienced art enthusiast. They boast a fabulous array of pencils and art products. We will be back for more ideas and project materials.

I love this little art store. A lot of variety in supplies for the size. Excellent staff who are willing to interact and help with your questions. Charming set-up.

This place is awesome. That's it, that's the thesis. But really, this store has an huge selection of materials and supplies for pretty much and kind of artist and a helpful staff. The actual size of the store isn't actually ginormous but they really utilize the space wonderfully, everything is neat and orderly on the shelves with a bit of the employees' personalities' being shown off with their own recommendations being sprinkled throughout. If you're looking for a cozy intimate art store with a superstore selection, you need to go to blick's.

Always an awesome experience at Blick Art Materials. I did discover that your 140 lb 11" x 15" watercolor paper tears too easy when wet for stapling to stretcher frame. I use Arches full sheets instead and they dry as tight as a drum!

My first time shopping at Blicks today and it was a great experience. Sales staff person John was extremely helpful and knowledgeable as well as the tall sales rep lady working the floor. Your staff really know their stuff and they are very nice. Definitely will be back.

Well organized store, clean and the employees were nice. Thousands of art supplies!

I always find the best painting supplies and the staff is always super helpful! I'm so glad we even have a Blick in Omaha, and that I always get the best attention. This really is the only art supply shop I'll go to for all my paints, brushes, canvases, pallets, you name it. I've also found supplies for my architectural/interior design drafting, and ink printing. Plus there are cute art -related knick-knacks that always seem to catch my eye.

I teach painting and drawing at Creighton University so I tend to be at this store quite often. Whether it is for me personally, my students who come into the store or the Omaha store preparing supplies for my upcoming classes, I can always count on them and I truly appreciate it.

While I don't expect any staff member to know every single artistic process that exists, I'm always impressed with the interest the staff has if it is a material or process they are not familiar with---maybe that curiosity is just inherent in the artists who work there, but I appreciate it either way.

Having a brick and mortar store is so important, especially for those last minute items. I probably stop by at least once every other week and if they are out of something, they do what they can to make sure it is on the next shipment.

Easily the best art supply store in town if looking to make art or be involved in the art community or for school supplies. Very reasonably priced with a variety of cost options. Not a craft store but does have a few craft making things in there, the knick knack style corner inside is cool too.

Very helpful and cordial staff. All of them are very friendly. Never had a bad experience with this store. Workers helped me find utensils I can't find easily. Staff and management are great.

My only issue is I've asked to display my drawings but the manager only wants to display paintings. Or color pieces. Don't tolerate or want to display my award-winning masterpiece of drawing's

Great place to shop for pro artists. Friendly atmosphere. Availability of Utrecht acrylic paint (studio version and artist version). An inexpensive alternative to Golden heavy body acrylic paint and Liquitex heavy body acrylic paint. Utrecht also sells Titanium White by the gallon. About $55 for studio Titanium white and $100 for the artist version. They have many other colors that come in a variety of sizes. Blick also sells Blick acrylics for students and pro artists.

Great selection to choose from and the staff is always so welcoming and helpful. One of my favorite places to go to whenever I need to get my art supplies

If you are looking for class level stuff or professional level art supplies. Focus is more on paint based art but they cover most artistic bases.

I could be there all day, the customer service is on top and helpful plus they can educate you on what you don't know or may need for your project. It's great and I love coming here!

The manager at Blick on Dodge is awesome. So helpful and sweet -- explaining to me the difference between acrylic and tempera without making me feel like a dumby. She is the best and it is so nice to have a mid-town store close to my house with EVERYTHING I could ever need!!!
