This is a fun place to eat. Most of the dishes are cold dishes but there are a few hot items to order on the menu. The different color plates indicate the price of each plate.

My daughter and I happened to find this place on a recent trip. We absolutely loved it! The sushi was so fresh! The small sampler plates are you a great way to be try new things without having to order a whole order.

I loved the nigiri and sashimi, my daughter loved the rolls!

They keep track via colored coded plates. We didn't spend any more than we would have off a regular sushi menu.

We loved it so much, we went back the next night for dinner again!

Tonight?, I ate from the train. My server was personable and friendly. She read my mind when I wanted to order something special, needed a drink and a fork for dessert. The food was fresh and tasty. Good variety. I arrived early and had no wait. Worth the price to sample many dishes.

This was such a fun experience, I would definitely visit again! The small plates on the conveyor were great for getting a broader variety of things to try without committing to a whole roll. The kids loved seeing all the options glide by (the octopus salad and the desserts were their favorites to point out). Ordering from the touch-screen had the bonus entertainment of getting the items delivered by the train. The food was excellent, and our server was too. This is the place to go for a great sushi experience.

There are a growing number of places to get sushi in Omaha, and initially I thought the train was just a gimmick to compensate for lower quality sushi, but I was wrong! The food was really, really good...very fresh tasting. The wait staff was helpful and exained the ordering process to me (the newbie). The train works similarly to dim sum where the kitchen puts a variety of options on small plates which are color coded by price. You take what you want, and they up the plates at the end. My daughter and I thought it was great!

Food was good, some of it wasn't quite what I expected flavor wise, and I feel like the portion sizes could be a bit bigger for the price of each plate, but the service is fantastic and I absolutely LOVE the atmosphere! There truly is no better eating entertainment experience than a sushi train aside from like hibachi. The train is fun to watch and easy to get what you want fast with no wait for the chef to cook it.

I lived in Japan 15 years ago and when I heard something like this was coming to Omaha, I flipped. It's so close to being like Japan!!! I've been there pretty much every week since I found out about it. There is a cash and card option so if you want to save a dollar or two from the CC charges, bring cash.

We walked in and thought the wait would be prolonged but it was not. Glad we chose this restaurant. The conveyor belt vs off menu selection was great. I had sashimi and it was delicious and very attractively garnished. The two with me enjoyed their meal and the experience. The best part? Our waitress, Ally, who acted as if ours were her only table to work; it was not, the place was packed! I would recommend based on the service, food, and atmosphere. I am EXTREMELY picky about my sashimi. I was not disappointed.

This was our first time here, and we had the Yaki Udon with chicken and the Yaki Soba with beef. They were delicious and light. One of the drinks we had was the Fiji apple Moscow Mule. It's was very refreshing and delicious. We also tried the sushi train. Wished they had dessert dishes on the train and more options for sushi. But overall it was a very good experience. Our server was friendly and informative.

Fun place with cute decor. The sushi train and rotating sushi case is always a good time! Kids love it! Price is determined by the color of plate that the food is served on. We each had a beer (glasses are not chilled), I ate sushi, he had pad Thai. Cocktails are $7.

Casual attire, attentive wait staff. Food is good, but Baker’s has better sushi. Fun for small plates w friends!

This place is a hidden gem! The only thing we weren't a fan of was the egg drop soup, it was a little bland and more clear than we are used to; however, the sushi and variety was great! The staff was very accommodating and attentive. We went during lunch time just before the rush. They seat you at a table by a conveyer belt and you can slide open the doors when you want to grab a meal or a special drink. I let the kids grab the plates out when we wanted something. The Godzilla Roll was a family favorite and their deep fried rolls were really good. We also loved the salmon sashimi and salmon nigiri. My kids went crazy over the Japanese soda (Rammune I think it's called?). Overall a great experience and we will definitely be back!

We went there for a birthday dinner, my son turned 18. He had been there before and said it was great. The customer service was fantastic. We never had to ask for refills she was on top of it. We had the food train. Loved all the samples we were able to taste. The colored plates were a neat idea. You knew how much each plate cost by the colored coded menu. Definitely will be going back!!!

Really fun experience. Only gripe is the food running around on the conveyer was a bit old/ some things that are supposed to be warm are too cold from being on so long. (We did go new years eve within 2 hrs of closing so I can understand not putting out the best of the best.)

Trail is the best.
Way to order food, personaly, i dont like it.
We Used the tablet for order but didt like it.
In my case i come to restaurants to feel the atmosphere learning from the servers and hearing recommendations what other human try before and what the human can say about the food.
But food still really good
Service still amazing
Is very clean and lovely music all the time.

We really enjoyed yamato 🍣! The sushi was very good and the service was superb. The conveyer belt/train is a fun and unique experience. The prices are very reasonable. We have been to similar places in Chicago and Denver which are more expensive. They also have 20%off the train prices for all of January. Con: we had to wait a while for sushi to come around or if you have a large group in front of you taking the rolls you like. However, you can ask your server for specific rolls from the train menu and they will bring it directly to you.

What a fun little place. Nice that when you sit down you can just grab whatever looks good to you and start eating. Also fun to order sushi and kids drinks on the touch screen because it arrives via "bullet train"...

Best experience I have had! Went here Monday for my mom and boyfriend's birthday. I was worried it was too small to get a table reserved but they assured me no problem and got tables pushed together for us! It is VERY beautiful inside! Their menu has SO many options and was not as expensive as I thought it would be! We ordered a Sushi boat which was beautiful! I personally do not eat Sushi but everyone else said it was amazing. Then at the end they quietly asked me whose birthday it was, lowered the lights and brought out a fantastic display! Fried oreos with a little birthday icing on top and huge sparklers! I never liked fried oreos but WOW those were good! After everyone left we all agreed we HAVE to come back here. 10/10 recommend! The food was amazing the staff was so awesome and friendly!

Wonderful food, lovely service. All the sushi is amazingly fresh and the sushi train is so much fun! Went back here for the first time since the pandemic started and it's as great as always. There is also a menu of non-sushi items for anyone a little less adventurous!

The sushi is phenomenal, and I loved the convenience and novelty of the sushi train. The kitchen staff was so polite, and our waitress was very knowledgeable and attentive. Be sure to get there at 5 for the best sushi train pickings!

Wonderful food. The service was very good and the price was very reasonable. We only ate off the Sushi train, and it was wonderful! The train was an experience to be sure. The only downside was that we would have liked to see them load the train more often and with a better variety from the menu.
