Yes, it's all that. Their incredibly strong Champagne/sparkling wine lineup is emblematic: more choices across diverse styles (mineral? citrus? stone fruit? toast? brioche? late disgorged? vintage?), regions, and price points PLUS their own offerings direct from the winemakers puts Total Wine in its own league. Speaking at length with the gentleman who curates this section, I couldn't help but be impressed by his knowledge and open mindedness: clearly enjoys helping people find bottles that suit their interests or curiosity rather than advocating for his own personal tastes (which are unique to each of us). Total seems to have scored on the wine dream store: wide selection supported by passionate staff with specific expertise - and good nature. Ann Arbor has really lucked out.

Super easy access from town or from the highway with plenty of free parking.

Huge store, like a Home Depot for wine. Unbelievable how big this place is. Was awesome to visit and buy the wine we were looking for.

I won't bore you with "they have everything". Instead, my tale... we hosted a wine tasting at our house and had no idea what to serve, nor how much to buy. We found Sean (at the A2 store) who was both excited to help and willing to educate us along the way. We got a great selection of wines with guidance on the order in which to serve them.

Love this place. It has everything! The store is clean and so organized. All the workers were friendly. It is practically a library of wine...and more. Seeing so many different wines from all around the world, is truly an experience. They also have a walk in humidor that boasts a variety of tobacco selections. It was fun just going up and down the wide aisles trying to decide which new-to-me product to try. One stop shop for anyone throwing a party. They even have all you need to make a multitude of mixed drinks. The store lives up to it's name!

Finally got a chance to stop by and see this place I heard they had one of the largest wine and beer and liquor selections in the state... I was completely amazed by the selection of wines on their shelf.

I was able to locate some liqueur that I could not find anywhere else. The staff was completely helpful and around to ask questions. Stopped in and had a tasting at their wine counter which helped me make a selection. Was also able to find out where certain beers were from and if they were able to get things from out of state..

There beer selection was outstanding the only thing I would have to critique is that they expanded further than their major selection of Michigan beers because there are so many great breweries in Ohio Indiana and Illinois. But what I enjoyed the most was the pricing they had several great deals on a lot of their beer. Probably some of the best pricing around. I could have spent hours here and I can't wait to come back for my next trip to check out their humidor.

I stopped by Total Wine on short notice today, and they took great care of me there. Everyone I interacted with was helpful and pleasant - plus, the store itself is gorgeous. Will definitely be coming back soon. Thanks guys!

They've got pretty much anything you need there. Don't hesitate to go to the front desk to have them check to see if something you're looking for is on order or could be ordered.

I do promo tastings here and I have so much fun! The managers here are great and really help you any way they can. The sampling’s stations are great and there’s something new to try every day!

With only a few times I have visited this place, I find more and more new spirits to try, such a great selection and variety. Will for sure be back. If you love options, this is the place to check out, even with tasting options it's something to keep in mind!

A completely ridiculous selection of all things alcohol. There are bottles in here that I have only read about or seen pictures of. The friendly staff is readily available and able to help with suggestions and information. Super clean. Beautiful displays. Sold at State minimum!

Overwhelmingly wonderful selection of alcohol (wine, spirits, etc). All the sections are clearly labeled and it was really easy to maneuver through the store.

They also have little tabs on most of the wine that further detail with the wine is like so that's really nice without having to actually take bottles down off the shelves.

The people at the tasting counters are a tiny bit pushy, but that's their job. I don't blame them for it.

Elizabeth at the checkout counter was absolutely incredible. I really enjoyed taking a moment to talk to her about the store and the rewards program; she is absolutely an asset to the company.

Wonderful shop for alcoholic beverages. Very impressive. From everyday boxed wine to interesting international choices. They have interesting workshops and events.

It’s like a wine, beer, liquor emporium. Absolutely love this place. They have everything including good mixers. Cashiers are always very kind and friendly. Highly recommend!!

Friday evening and all kinds of taste testing happening. Best Happy Hour in town. Ended up having a great conversation with another client and staff about Gin. I love what I purchased to try.

Initially we went in to just pick up an order, however after strolling around the store we ran into some amazing employees. We ended up doing a wine tasting or 2 or 6 with Shawn, who's very witty and knowledgeable. An hour later we left with some great new 🍷 wines & bourbon to tempt our palettes.

Such a fabulous selection on all things wine, cocktail, and associated items! Knowledgeable and helpful staff, great gift items, and the descriptions on the wines are what really help Total Wine stand out from any other wine or liquor shoppe.

They have very friendly and knowledgeable staff ready to help answer any questions you might have. It's a really big store with so many things to look at. They sell just about everything you need for your hosting needs. They sell wine, liquor, beer, non alcoholic beverages, mixers, glasses, decanters, and shots. If you name it, they probably have it.

Huge! Incredible variety that is pretty overwhelming. Definitely a good place to get your adult beverage needs. In my case, I wanted one bottle of soju. I was impressed with the price.
